Who are your overvalued/undervalued teams heading into the playoffs?

Live. Breathe. Blue.
Don't play much NBA or follow much during March, so, would like some opinions on this now that the college season is over. Playoffs is the best time to make money in the NBA, imo. Any thoughts would be appreciated... :shake:

Man, in my opinion, this sport is hard to cap. I can't figure teams out. If I had to answer, I think the Bulls might be undervalued. Overvalued, maybe the Pacers and Blazers. Although people are starting to be convinced the Pacers are pretenders now.

I think we need to see what will be the series and the prices for them...

It's hard to say undervalued or overvalued before you see the price.

For example, if SAS will play Dallas and get 2.00 odds to win the series - SAS will be undervalued and Dallas overvalued obviously...
But if SAS will get 1.01 and Dallas will get 50.00 odds - it's the other way around...

Why the rush, before the regular season is done?

Brooklyn to come out of the East @ +1600 seems like pretty good value, as do the Clippers @ +500 in the West. Once you get series lines available, think the Bobcats can take out pretty much anyone they get slotted against in the 1st round (IND, TOR, CHI).

cog - I think you may be right with the 3 teams you mentioned.

divol - I'm just saying more in terms of who books may be over/undervaluing based on how teams are playing now, injuries, etc. Also, with the regular season ending in just a week, why not get some thoughts on this now?

hugh - I would agree on the Clips. I think they've got as good a shot as anyone to come outta the West.

memphis - big IF they make the playoffs.. Schedule has been brutal and might wipe them out however if they do make it, they get a few days of rest and the playoff schedule is not brutal but their match-up will be...though i think conley may be hurting and that is not good...

Overvalued...Portland as I think they have zero shot to get out of the first round. Also Indiana as they have simply lost what they had before the All Star break/traded Danny Granger and just look lost now.

Undervalued in the East I would go with New Jersey who have played well the last 3 months and out West I say the Spurs in the sense that they should be the odds on favorite to win it all yet you can get more than +200 on them vs Miami.

Indiana is not overvalued though. Mostly everyone thinks they're overrated and the lines will reflect that unless they go on a tear in the remaining games. The team had a brutal schedule and I pointed that out a couple weeks ago I think. They really don't have that great of a bench so the starters were heavily relied upon. They should be ok.

Brooklyn is going to have a very tough first round matchup. Not really sure who Id rathee face. Toronto or Chicago.

Rockets v. Blazers will be a sick match-up if the standings work out as they should in the West.

Pretty disgusting how Memphis would be a 3-seed in the East but will be in a fight till the end to even make the West.

It was just Game 1, but, certainly looks like those calling Indiana overvalued were spot on with that one.

i didnt see any of the okc/grizz game,, looking at box score... Beno did fine at back pg for Calethas.
Were they over matched? outplayed? ( i know there was an angle of revenge for this game, will it carry over to game 2)?
will get same line maybe a put higher,, grizz first half could be worth a look??
