Couple at 1st glance
Colorado/Mil. Over 8.5
LA Dodgers -135
Giants -110

sd note how did they come up with 188 on duchscherer?? weird

Baltimore game and first half seems almost too obvious. Need to study more but McGowan has had plenty of time to bounce back. Just not playing well. Recent right handed hitting by Baltimore up a lot.

Minnesota this season

14-4 SU in interleague play
8-1 SU at home
6-3 SU on the road

20-12 SU vs AL teams .500 or less
13-6 SU at home
_7-6 SU on the road

16-23 SU vs AL teams .501 or better
12-11 SU at home
_4-12 SU on the road ......................... hello, Boston

Yet another study in extremes, the Mets last 18 games
of all-or-nothing offense in the normal 9 regulation inns -

7, 1, 3, 2, 0, 8, 15, 0, 2, 3, 1, 7, 7 & 11, 2, 9, 2 & 10 run totals.

10 totals of 0-3 runs.
_0 totals of 4-6 runs.
_8 totals of 7+ runs.

what do you think TB opens at the stadium?

I will be on Kazmir as long as its anything under -135

Colorado wins SU, IMO. Way too much Sabathia hype and lefty Redman vs undisciplined, free-swinging--and just plain STUPID--line-up at this generous price...

The fuckos were very, very fortunate that there were no more than 4 scored against mcdung. Plenty of chances for the Rockies last night. The fuckos have the mind-set that all they need to do is show up to the ballpark to win. I expect Colorado to be VERY focused and disciplined at the plate tomorrow night considering all the Sabathia talk today.

BOL, though, MLM...

the "fuckos"??? what the hell man??? Sounds like a sour apples bettor to me...Crew rolls tomorrow night, go ahead and lose dough if you wish on Redman of all pitchers on the road...

You like Colorado and that could be a good bet, but I could never put my money on Redman. It always seems like good players once traded to a contender tend to do quite well in the beginning. I believe CC could get touched up tommorrow just because Colorado can hit and thats about it. But Redman will get smacked IMO, Brewers looking to give run support to their new arm. I admit the + is nice on the Rocks, but I rather take the better chance of winning with the Brew Crew.

O.K. Help me out here, too. Silva's pitching, and the total is 7.5?

WTF am I missing here, please?

Counselor is just pissed because he lost on the crew tonight. No need to listen to his rant about 2morrow... They just swept Pitt and have the best record in baseball since end of May. Sabathia/Sheets bounce back next two days to get another streak going...

Seattle on "defense" in their last 22 games they've...

conceded 0-2 runs 10 times ... 9-1 SU, O/U 3-6-1
conceded 3-4 runs 3 times ..... 1-2 SU, O/U 1-2
conceded. 5+ runs 10 times ... 1-9 SU, O/U 6-3-1

So in trying to consider the outcome of their games in recent times, it's simply boiled down to the opposing team's offense vs their starter.

Probably just the notion that both offenses suck, Duch is pitching well. Silva at times can be decent.

You're obviously unfamiliar with Oakland's offense, and pitching. Just go look at tonight's boxscore - Over needed 1 run in the final 4 innings to Push - the last 4 innings produced nothing. Oakland has more Unders in by 1 run than any other team - don't know it for a fact but I'd put money on it. 3 of their last 4 games have worked out that way for starters.

My advice is, if you don't like an A's under, pass.

You're right. I am pissed. I don't throw shit out there on a whim b/c I'm pissed about a loss, because I don't want to run the risk of someone pulling the trigger on a play based on my bias (not that they should be listening to me anyway). IF that's what you're insinuating, you can fucking get bent, dstang.

The line seems high to me considering Colorado has a propensity to score some, too. Redman's not exactly a gas can. You'd have thought the fuckos would have put up some numbers on jiminez, too, right? They just swept Pitt. Good for them. They just got their asses handed to them for 7 innings by a guy you would have thought they'd get their share off, no?

You don't think there's NOT going to be any distraction tomorrow night for the young fuckos? You could tell they weren't focused tonight, and he was just sitting in the fucking dougout charting pitches!

Again, I don't like the tone.

BOL to you, whatever you play.

No, BC, I understand...BUT IT'S THE CHIEF!!!! I had to endure this guy in Minnesota. He gives it up...

counselor - Colorado is 3-18 SU their last 21 road games vs teams not called the LA Dodgers. As good as their recent form has been, its all been at home. Last road trip they took good home form on, they went 0-6 SU.
The percentages simply don't suggest anything other than negative returns for these guys on the road off a road win.

So he gives it up. Oakland couldn't accept cafeteria pitching if they were playing t-ball. Teams who have 5 straight batters go out on the first strike they're thrown is a team that doesn't know how to bat. The only reason they won tonight was because a newcomer did the business for them, someone who hasn't (yet) been infected with their 45 point offensive IQ.

All I'm saying is, he's going to give them pitches to hit. He's not a strike out pitcher. They'll be able to put the ball in play. I understand Oakland's offensive futility. Being a Twins fan, I just can't help thinking..."BUT IT'S THE CHIEF!!!"

I see the number moved from 7.5 to 8, but still...IT'S THE CHEIF!!

Dempster's last 6 home starts
WHIP 1.04, ERA 1.87, O/U 1-5, opp 1.67 runs/game avg, CHC 6-0 SU

Has 2 starts vs CIN - WHIP 1.25, ERA 3.00 (Home team won both).

The Cubs are 5-1 SU at home off a 5+ game road trip this season.
Their only loss came as a Dog - their winning margins 4, 2, 2, 5 & 1 run (closest result an IL fixture).

BTW, BC. Never said I was playing it. My observation after watching tonights game is that there was little focus by the fuckos at the plate, in the field, or even on the bases, for cripe sake!

There will be even more excitment and distractions tomorrow night with all the Sabathia hoopla. It is just my opinion that that line holds some value. That's all.

I absolutely agree, great value. But I've never been one to take a below average pitcher. Good pitching always beats Good Hitting. Good Hitters always beat up on bad pitchers. I've had these two lines of baseball info beaten into my head for 20 years, guess it leaks into my gambling dilemma. But there IS good value for the situation.

Counselor, I do agree Carlos Silva is a joke most of the time, you def. know the deal with him coming out of Minnesota, but man have you seen Oakland's lineup, no offense A's fans, but DAMN. I'm about to start hitting the cages if that's what pro batters look like.

Saw that Cleveland bullpen up close this weekend. Awful. Tigers ML & RL might be a consideration

Welp, apparently I'm not going to see lines on most of the games I'm interested in, so fuck it. I got appointments in the a.m. Guess I'll have to wait...

For sure:
Over anything under 15 in Texas

Probably:
Giants (Lincecum) at a really nice price (almost too nice)
Padres (Wolf) and under
Dodgers (Billingsley) RL (you think Oakland's offense is bad...)
Rays (Kaz) IF the price is right regardless if it's Ponson or Pettite
Tigers (Verlander) RL

Sowers is :hang:

- 8 IP vs Detroit for 10 ERs*

- WHIP 1.89, ERA 9.50, opp 6.00 runs/game avg in road starts this season

- Cleveland 1-5 SU his last 6 starts.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Verlander
WHIP 1.37, ERA 5.25, DET 1-3 SU last 4 home starts vs CLE*

WHIP 1.04, ERA 2.08, DET 3-2 SU last 5 home starts

* - this season & last.

For what its worth I agree still a bad spot for MILW tmrw . Thought they opened CC way cheaper then expected .

The Padres have lost 9 straight at home. I happened to be looking at them vs lefties and I noticed the scores of the last 3 times they won at home vs a leftie. 2-1

O.K. Help me out here, too. Silva's pitching, and the total is 7.5?

WTF am I missing here, please?

I believe that Oakland shuts the Mariners out Tuesday night.....

Silva's not horrible, and the A's probably won't go deep on him....My .02

Here are just some thoughts or ramblins....lol...:shake:

I think that St. Louis is an insanely great value at around +181 as I'm seeing at betjamaica @the time of this post. I'd get that early guys, because most will jump all over this...It'll be at aroun +160 by first pitch....Joel Piniero is a damn solid pitcher and I know Hamels has been good all year, but Piniero isn't a +181 dog to anyone, especially with Pujols in that lineup, and a solid bullpen....

Other things that I'm seeing is the Rays RL @ (shit, betjam doesn't have it up yet, but -110 ml, I'll bet that I can get a +150-+160 or so if I take TB at Yankee Stadium........I can't remember the exact numbers, but 2 years ago, the Rays sucked and were something like 24-14 against the pinstripes....Not quite the same last year, but they sure as hell don't give a flying rats ass about them now....Kazmir is godlike on the mound, and I don't need to remind anyone that he led the AL in strikeouts last year......

I'm going to play the Detroit/Cleveland over...no numbers up at betjam yet either......

Sowers is a gas can, just flat out sucks...Verlander hasn't shown me shit this year.....I believe the Tribe will lose their 9th in a row tomorrow, but can't play the Tigers, since I've lost more this year playing them then on any other team before the All Star break in a dozen or so years....Mostly a shitload of chalk on them early in the season.......Is Leyland still chain smoking in the dugouts like he used to in Pittsburgh?

Seeing some value with the Reds...(I'm such a damn homer)....No number yet either, but seeing some +145s places I don't use....Harang sucks this year recordwise, but Reds could beat up on Dempster perhaps, and in a potentially close game, I'll take the +145-ish number........

A's RL no doubt about it........No way those lame ass Seattle bats hit Duchsherer on the road...Once again, I believe Oakland shuts them out Tuesday....

Contemplating taking the White Sox and Contreras on the road against K.C., but those Sox bats have let me down soooo much this year....

I like SF on the road against a Mets team that has used their bullpen way too much the past couple weeks....Wanted SF to be at least a small dog on the road at Shea, but I guess Lincecum isn't exactly a secret anymore that he's a damn good pitcher....

Taking Webb on the road against Washington....Zona can't score to save their life, but with Webb and a not so good Nats bullpen, if the D-backs give him 3 runs, it'll probably be enough.........

At 5:00am here, that's all the thinking that I can do for a while...LOL :shake:

Mets/Giants considerations

Lincecum
Last 10 starts where the losing team wasn't shutout
WHIP 1.18, ERA 3.44, O/U 9-1 - 12.00 runs avg, 6.70 avg runs support

Road starts where the losing team was shutout
WHIP 1.28, ERA 0.00, O/U 0-4 - 1.50 runs avg, 1.25 avg runs support

Road starts where the losing team wasn't shutout
WHIP 1.24, ERA 3.45, O/U 5-0 - 12.60 runs avg, 7.40 avg runs support

In road games where both teams score, Lincecum has yet to provide an Under result this season.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pelfrey
Another Mr. All-Or-Nothing pitcher -

8 starts with an ERA of 3.00 or less ........ 6-1-1 to Under .. Mets 5-3 SU
1 start with an ERA between 3.01-7.19 ... 1-0 to Over ....... Mets 1-0 SU
7 starts with an ERA of 7.20 or more ....... 5-2 to Over ....... Mets 2-5 SU

Had an ERA of 1.29 in his last start. Coming off a start w/an ERA of less than 1.50 this season, he's delivered starts with ERAs of ...
_7.20 (away, Mets lost, Under)
13.50 (away, Mets lost, Over)
_9.00 (away, Mets won, Over)
_7.20 (away, Mets won, Over)

Most of the people will be on Brewers tonight. Me also. In this match I don't see any reason, why not to take Brewers RL +100.

Second pick is Boston RL. Twins are weaker against lefites and Lester shows really good pitching lately. Boston is dominant at home. RL seems good to me.

I agree Peldas, I also see absolutely no reason to not play the Brewers RL with sabathia's big spot, and an overworked Rockies pen....As Betcrimes said earlier, the Rocks are just horrific on the road....:shake:

I think this has got more to do than just with Piniero...

STL went 2-5 SU while scoring 2, 2, 3, 7, 1, 2 & 1 run totals

STL then went 7-5 SU in scoring 5, 9, 3, 8, 7, 2, 2, 5, 9 & 7 run totals

STL is now 1-3 SU while scoring 1, 1, 5 & 1 run totals

This has pretty much been a pattern of theirs all season. Their offense goes into swoons, and it's happening again. Hamels gets runs support at home (1 total below 3 runs his last 9 starts there), the writing is on the wall that the Cards will not reply in kind.
