Lots of talk about rumors swirling about Kobe getting traded, Phil Jackson calling him out for not giving maximum effort, and how it's going to be a distraction. It will only continue in the pregame with Charles Barkley.

The public using this as there reasoning

I'm not buying that.This only will help motivate Kobe, the best player in the league who's capable of carrying his team to victory by hisself. The LA Fans should be a big factor in this one as they don't want to see him go. Lakers have been a great team in season openers and they started out hot earlier in the season last year with the same team.

As for the Rockets they may start the season a little slow, as they have to make a lot of adjustments with a new head coach, a few new faces and a new up-tempo system. I'm not taking anything away from the Rockets, they are solid team and could go deep into the playoffs, but as for right now they're laying too many points on the road right now to a good home team.

I agree that playing o nthe Rockets right now is a no-no until they adjust to this system and get some consitency.

At the same point, I feel playing on LA is a non-no until we know what Kobias attitude will be.

Very unplayable game IMO.

BOL with the side though.
 
Might have joined you if this thing got to 6, but I don't know if it has enough steam to get there. 5 1/2 will still be nice.
 
Completely missed that. I was looking at lines on Vegasinsider and just saw it on SBR. I don't have a BoDog account, but this isn't the first time they've had a # that I couldn't get anywhere else. Hopefully somebody else follows suit (sportsbook.com).

lakers go on a 13-3 rally to end teh game and kobe was special as predicted. he missed nine fts and like 20 shots it seemed. he could have had 55ish and should have.

for today im thinking ...

If you can still get 202 at Bodog for the Wash total it's 203 everywhere else and heading for 203.5 shortly.

den can name the score tonight. jr smith is out for denver so i dont gotta worry about denver's lone 3 pt shooter. guy can make it rain when hes on like the best of em. so for this game to go over denver is gonna have to be dropping fg after fg from two pt land and be getting to the line a ton. denver has been focusing in on d this preseason. durant and green are seattles go to guys at less than 100%.

well it looks like i missed the boat on memphis +7. so in its place ... i added them in a 4 pt tease with toronto. its noted in post #19.

i need to watch tonights game before i answer this. i heard the dying minute and what not of OT on radio on way home from job. imma watch it after i do a run thru of the forum and see what was what tonight.

just another total that will get up into the two hundos tonight imo. and with deron, luther and dee on the floor tonight getting all dem minutes how can it not in all honesty.

rockets and lakers boxscore is misleading as many pts were left on the court. same can be said of golden st in the utah game.

i expect a close contest here and a foul fest at the end helping my cause. we all know the jazz are gonna score at home and houston with the 1R loss motivation from LY will help their cause here tonight.

bulls are off a bad road loss, one that went into OT. this team gets to 1-1 tonight and the crowd gets big macs. phila is without any real bigs down low to slow us down. we should get out and run tonight and look for those princeton screens up top to be taken to the basket on this phila team more tonight than a midrange jumper.

in 3 games last year we avg'd 106 on this phila team.

chicago can pretty much name the score tonight and i see the young hawks as a better team this year. hawks are live tonight imo but once again much like the sa at memphis game i believe dallas will find a way to gut out the dubya.

so a tease ...

san antonio plays at the rockets on tuesday. while this game is 4 days away the spurs are not gonna go out tonight and try to embarrass (sp?) the kings imo as they want to be ready for their big in-state showdown.

sac has played the spurs tight in recent memory losing by 9, 7, 2, 9, 22, 11, winning by 18 and 1, and losing by 9 in their most recent outings. me and you both know they are without their best people but even so they found a way to score 100 at nawlins.

bottom line, just dont see spurs wanting blood tonight and sac willing.

golden st and clippers should be a real close game with lots of shots and fouls. it should also feature a foul fest at the end to help push this thing hova the posted total.

cant ignore series history here as the over is 7-2 last 9 meetings and my line has this one off a good 8 pts.

The major difference between the Hawks and the other lower tier teams is that they have Joe Johnson, and he knows how the end games. I like the tease alot though, I'll be on the Bulls minus the chalk, they crowd will be insane in the home opener, and I'm not as worried about a backdoor since the whole team plays really solid defense. BOL brewer

you also made a mistake, sac didn't score a 100 on us. They put up 90 but allowed 104.
