Tennis - Week 44 Discussion Thread

Troicki might be my only lean tomorrow. Kvitova on my radar as well. No idea how healthy Safarova is but she would give Mugu a run IF she was at full strength.
 
I can definitely understand the gulbis play but two weeks before men's finals and gulbis bounced him in the last tourney because his serve was off. Not going to bet for gulbis to do it twice in two weeks

yea P not a really good card, I will lay off and see what plays out for the next round match ups. Like tomorrows card better

You got to remember, Muguruza & Safarova are also playing Doubles in the finals. So mid week might be some good fade material from exhaustion.
 
damn forgot to check the doubles SMH Mizra and Hingis played last night. Those ladies may not lose until they stop playing together

glad I laid off Thiem, that was one play I was considering this morning but he has been in bad form lately, already down a break. Long match but not worth the stress with him haha
 
Lol yup Rosol killed that top parlay. Those are not even half a unit for like 4 units so not much risk on anything there

Hes just a bitch. Does something annoying every week. Like Fabio & Gulbis get mad with the linesman and umps and yell. Rosol won't shake hands sometimes and just do stupid shit. This was during that match

whats the thought process on the total in the Dimitrov match? just trying to understand totals better for tennis, you think he drops a set?

I've been around just super busy with work, very little time for tennis. I've been watching a lot of the USA challenger events, mainly the players Krajicek, Tiafoe and Fritz. 3 solid USA tennis players who I believe will be at the forefront of US Tennis in years to come.

How you been bro?

I'm trying to get back into the tennis grind -- I spent a week holidays in Calgary hanging out during the day and watching tennis at night so I'm easing back into things slowly. Too bad the season is winding down but I'm looking forward to College Hoops this year.


Gulbis better come through for me -- trying to double dip with him having knocked off Isner recently. I just think that Gulbis has played 'big-servers' multiple times in a row now (Johnson, Karlovic and Isner) so he should be accustom to this type of match.

Young American phenom going to blow this match and my money in this challenger. Won first set 6-1. Had about 6 break chances and couldnt get them. THen was up a minibreak at 5-2.
