LINDENWOOD 28, EASTERN ILLINOIS 25 | BOX SCORE
The Lindenwood football team picked up a thrilling 28-25 win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday. It marked the third all-time meeting between the teams, all of which have been decided by six points or less. EIU led 17-0 at halftime but Jeff Caldwell caught four second half touchdowns, the last with 6:05 to play to lift his team. The Panthers scored with 3:36 to play and had a chance to tie the game with a field goal in the final minute, but the kick was wide right.

TENNESSEE TECH 52, GARDNER-WEBB 21 | BOX SCORE
For the first time since 2011, the Tennessee Tech football team is starting conference play with a 2-0 record. Seeing the effects of Hurricane-turned-Tropical Storm Helene first-hand as they made their way to Charlotte, then to Boiling Springs, the Golden Eagles overcame those adversities to take a 52-21 victory over the defending Big South-Ohio Valley Conference champ in a statement victory. With no power at Spangler Stadium, no network connections and spotty cell connections, the modern amenities of college football were non-existent, leaving both teams to play an old-school-style contest, lining each side's 11 up and letting them go at it. In all, Tech compiled 414 yards of total offense – 340 on the ground.

TENNESSEE STATE 13, CHARLESTON SOUTHERN 9 | BOX SCORE
Tennessee State put together an 11-play, 92-yard drive, culminating in a 19-yard rushing touchdown by Jordan Gant with :46 left to give the Tigers a 13-9 win over Charleston Southern on a rainy Saturday night at Nissan Stadium. Gant paced the Tigers rushing attack by accumulating 40 yards and one touchdown The Tigers won the turnover battle in forcing two turnovers while coughing the ball up one time.

#13/14 SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 19, NORTHWESTERN STATE 0 | BOX SCORE
DC Pippin kicked a career-high four field goals to lead #13 Southeast Missouri (4-1) to a 19-0 shutout over Northwestern State (0-5) Saturday on a misty day at Houck Field. Pippin scored the final 12 points of the game on kicks of 30, 38, 37 and 24 yards to send SEMO to its third-straight win in its non-conference finale. Defensively, SEMO held NSU to just 120 total yards and completed its first shutout at home in 10 years. The Redhawks last blanked Missouri Baptist, 77-0, in Matukewicz's first career game as a head coach on Aug. 28, 2014.

UT MARTIN 24, KENNESAW STATE 13 | BOX SCORE
A stout defense and another stellar game by senior running back Patrick Smith helped lead the University of Tennessee at Martin to its second win over a Football Bowl Subdivision program history, defeating Kennesaw State by a 24-13 score. The Skyhawks struck for their first triumph over a FBS school since a 20-17 victory at Memphis on Sept. 1, 2012. UT Martin committed just two penalties on the night and limited the Conference USA opponent to only 215 total yards, forcing a pair of second-half turnovers while allowing only six points on a pair of field goals in the contest. Kinkead Dent passed for 132 yards while almost half (six) of his 13 completions went to tight ends. Tyler Dostin accounted for a team-best 41 receiving yards as eight different UT Martin receivers tallied catches.

Dayton 47, Marist 14

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Drew VanVleet threw five touchdowns as Dayton pulled away from Marist, 47-14, at Tenney Stadium. The Flyers and Red Foxes traded touchdowns over the opening 25 minutes, with Marist tying the game at 14-14 on Sonny Mannino’s 18-yard touchdown pass to Jack Melore with 5:42 left in the first half. VanVleet wasted no time giving Dayton the lead for good, finding Luke Brenner who dashed down the sideline for a 69-yard touchdown catch-and-carry. The Flyers would tack on a pair of Danny Baker field goals from 20 and 23 yards in the final two minutes to build a 27-14 halftime lead. VanVleet added two more touchdown throws in the second half while the Dayton defense held Marist scoreless over the final 35:42 to clinch the win. VanVleet completed 23-of-35 passes for 323 yards, with Jake Coleman catching five passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Mannino paced Marist with a 17-of-34, 126-yard passing outing that included a touchdown.

Drake 30, San Diego 28

DES MOINES, Iowa – Shane Dunning’s 48-yard field goal as the final gun sounded lifted Drake to a 30-28 victory against San Diego at Bulldog Stadium. The late score spoiled a frantic comeback by San Diego. Drake built a 27-9 lead with 12:53 remaining in the game when Luke Bailey found Mitchell January for a 36-yard touchdown pass. The Toreros charged back, scoring a touchdown less than two minutes later on Logan Gingg’s two-yard run. Aidan Lehman supplied a 26-yard field goal five minutes later before an intentional grounding penalty enforced in the end zone provided a San Diego safety. On the ensuing drive, San Diego went 89 yards in 11 plays, capped by Grant Sergent’s five-yard touchdown pass to Peyton Smith for a 28-27 lead. The Torero defense forced a turnover on downs with 1:02 remaining, but the offense could not gain a first down and punted the ball to Drake. Starting on its own seven-yard line with 44 seconds left, Drake needed only eight plays to set up the game-winning field goal from the San Diego 38-yard line. Bailey led Drake with his 29-of-49, 263-yard passing day, including a pair of touchdowns. Sergent matched his counterpart, completing 25-of-40 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns.

Morehead State 17, Valparaiso 5

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Carter Cravens threw touchdowns to open and close the day’s scoring as he led Morehead State to a 17-5 victory against Valparaiso at Jayne Stadium. It was a day when both offenses were challenged, with Morehead State only outgaining Valparaiso 216-126. Cravens led the Eagles to a touchdown on the game’s opening drive, capping the push with a 44-yard pass to Bradley West. The Beacons got on the board at the end of the first quarter as a blocked punt landed in the end zone for a safety. Morehead State and Valparaiso traded field goals before halftime – MSU’s Thomas Schwartz hitting a 35-yarder while VU’s Ryan Hawk answered with a 46-yarder at the end of the half. Cravens’ provided the game’s last touchdown with his 25-yard pass to Nathan Garnett Jr. with 13:14 left. Cravens completed 5-of-16 passes for 132 yards and the two scores. Valparaiso running back Mike Mansaray ran for 54 yards on 15 carries.

Butler 63, Virginia-Lynchburg 0

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Butler’s defense allowed only 77 yards of offense and put up its second straight shutout in a 63-0 victory against Virginia-Lynchburg at the Sellick Bowl. With the shutout, the Bulldog defense has not allowed a point in 122:41 of game time and has not allowed a touchdown in its last 141:15. Butler’s offense spread the scoring around with seven players scoring a touchdown. Running backs Joey Suchy and Billy Dozier each ran for two touchdowns to lead the offensive effort.

Davidson 48, Presbyterian 37

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Andrew Frazier was responsible for three touchdowns, including a game-securing rushing TD wtih three minutes left in the game, and led Davidson to a 48-37 victory against Presbyterian in the Carolina Border Clash at Davidson College Stadium. The Wildcats and Blue Hose offenses combined for 1,008 yards. Presbyterian quarterback Collin Hurst completed 25-of-37 passes for 358 yards and three touchdowns. The Davidson run game amassed 355 yards with Mari Adams amassing 128 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries to lead the effort. Davidson jumped out to a 21-0 lead midway through the second quarter with TJ Magee's 98-yard pick-six capping the opening outburst. The Wildcats took a 35-13 lead into halftime but Presbyterian scored just before the break which signaled a change in momentum. The Blue Hose scored three touchdowns in the third quarter, with Hurst passing for two scores and running back Quante Jennings adding a rushing TD, and trailed 42-31 after the third quarter. Neither team scored in the fourth until Frazier's eight-yard touchdown run with 3:01 left that provided a 48-31 lead. Presbyterian would tack on another touchdown with 53 seconds left, setting the final score.

Smith leads Mercer to victory over Wofford

The first half of Saturday afternoon's matchup between Mercer and Wofford was a competitive back-and-forth affair. Mercer made a statement in the second half, however, pulling away for the 22-3 victory.

Brayden Smith had four catches for 48 yards and one touchdown to lead Mercer. Smith got help as well, particularly from Hess Horne and Kendall Harris. The Bears found offensive success throughout the day, outpacing the Terriers in total offensive yards 287 to 146.

Isaiah Scott, Kyle Pinnix, and Dylan Djete were all contributors for Wofford in the loss. The Terriers had to make every yard count on Saturday, only mustering 146 total yards.

Laborn, ETSU take the win over The Citadel

ETSU got off to a slow start on Saturday afternoon, but ultimately turned it up to overpower The Citadel by a final score of 34-17.

Khamran Laborn led ETSU in this one, racking up 9 yards receiving. Laborn got help as well, particularly from Bryson Irby and Jaylen King. The team's offense was firing on all cylinders, accumulating 460 total yards.

Tyler Cherry, Johnathan Bennett, and Garrison Johnson were all contributors for The Citadel in the loss. The Bulldogs' run defense was a key issue against the Buccaneers. They gave up 7.7 yards per carry to ETSU rushers.

Chattanooga breaks losing spell, defeats Portland St. for first win

Chattanooga got off to a hot start on the ground on Saturday evening with three first quarter rushing touchdowns. The rest of the game was more of the same as they overwhelmed Portland St. 45-30.

Chase Artopoeus led the way for Chattanooga, throwing for 396 yards and four touchdowns in this one. Down the field, Artopoeus was primarily looking for receiver Javin Whatley, who finished with eight receptions for 108 yards and three touchdowns. The team's offense was firing on all cylinders, accumulating 567 total yards.

Dante Chachere found the endzone multiple times in Portland St.'s loss. He threw for one touchdown and rushed for another two. Quincy Craig contributed to the Vikings' offense as well, scoring one touchdown on the ground.

I do not know what my week will be like. Pretty sure I won't be posting again until at least Wednesday, but maybe not till after that. As much as I enjoy posting here it is an important part of my process in picking games that I will have to replace somehow as life gets in the way of football preparation. Hope the week treats everyone well and good luck on the openers whenever they appear. Hopefully I'll contribute some thoughts later in the week.

I'm going to deposit 1000 into MyBookie today. If anyone has a referral link they can send me I'll try to get you the referral bonus.

Just a heads up that here is what they told me after they collected your deposit from my referral…

I do appreciate your understanding. All promotions exist for recreational players only. Management reserves the right to refute or retract any bonus or promotions to whoever falls outside this designation. In this case we can see that your account does not require the help from bonuses.

Bonus are for customer that need them, you don't, you are doing great without them as we can see in your account.

I project harvard as a 3.5 point favorite in the game friday night. the more and more that I research this one i feel that new hampshire is the better team here and should win the game outright. Harvard cannot run the ball and they make too many poor coaching decisions in the 2nd half of games. way too conservative and UNH can pass on these guys.

There's a lot to digest here

But you're definitely in the 1%

Also took overs with Montana State and SFA games as I have both favs doing it solo, so anything from the dogs will be a bonus.

Hello friends. I'm in Florida on the gulf coast. Helping out around the family condo here. There is a great staff here that is on the ball for sure. Flooding on grounds and common areas, but no wind or catastrophic damage for us. So many in this area and further north are in bad shape.

I'm still catching up from last weekend, but I was able to get some Fan Duel opens last night and this morning via a contact in Ohio.

Really like Penn +5.5 at Dartmouth. I don't think Penn got quite the result they deserved last week. They kicked FGs in the RZ (only 2 TDs on 5 trips) and couldn't stop Colgate on 4th down (converted 5 of 6, but held them under 30% 3rd down). So they only won by 10 with a 113 yardage edge. Penn has excellent Ivy QB, RB and WR - it is the best collection of a QB-RB-WR group in the Ivy. 456 ttl yards (7.1) last week and 393 (6.2) on a good Delaware team the week prior. Penn D is a little suspect, however Dartmouth really really struggled on O with Merrimack last week. Just 280 ttl yards (4.3) and 16 pts having to kick a game winning FG as time expired basically. Dartmouth couldn't run and was below 50% passing. They probably stand to be a little better on O this week just assuming they will correct some mistakes and know what didn't work, but still, Penn is the superior team. Dartmouth may've shared the Ivy Title last year, but in this game Penn is the legitimate Ivy contender this year. Last year I believe was on a Friday nihgt and Penn fumbled 3x allowing Dartmouth to win 23-20 in OT as a 2.5 pt road dog. Penn outgained them 394-251 (5.1-3.6). Dartmouth's D is always solid, but do think they appear down a bit this year. Haven't been exposed yet only playing Fordham who is a basket case and Merrimack who often doesn't show much O. Surprised to see Penn +5.5 and obviously I played some ML too

I like it! Looking for a big game from UNH DEs Silver and Ruiz here. And Wandle Owens is a big transfer at S for UNH this year, he's from Yale - he'll love facing off vs the Crimson one more time! Harvard down a notch I think on OL and DL. New UNH QB playing good

They make it seem like I’m pulling six figures a month from their bottom line or something so guess I should be flattered haha

The psychology of it is they compliment you while denying you something that you should be granted based off their promos - so it makes you not be upset about not getting the promo. It's free money (or credits/bets) that based on their terms you are entitled too. But because you do well, they don't want you to have it - it allows them to advertise their marketing tricks to attract new customers and then not follow through on their part of the commitment. That is BS

There's a few FCS lines on Heritage now among the normal college football games. Penn was +3.5

I saw The Citadel was +15.5 last night on FD. Heritage just had 17.5 which I took. The Citadel not bad this year. Had a rough game last week vs ETSU who I think very highly of - that game was just 20-10 4Q when Cit threw INT in EZ then ETSU ran away with it over the final 15 or so minutes. Citadel did have a good offensive game vs an outstanding D 2 weeks ago vs Mercer. Furman is getting a little better as the season goes on, but nowhere near what they were last year and I question the justification of them laying this many especially on the road.

Also, UTC opened -2.5 or that is the first I saw last night on FD. Down to 1.5 now at ETSU. Which I am suprised by. UTC was one of if not the preeason fav in the SoCon and started off the year rough. Did have a nice win last week vs Portland State, although they allowed more pts and yards than I think they would've liked. I like this ETSU team and have all year. Only conern is last week was really tough for them with the travel and the flooding and everything. If you don't know the story, basically roads and bridges were being washed out behind them as they traveled to Charlestown last week. They actually were taking on water in one of the team buses. They stayed over after the game and went back to Johnson City the long way around because all the other roads were closed. They did come home to a heros welcome and all of that may weigh negatively. But I am going to take the other approach, playing back home in front of the Johnson City crowd which just went through a lot with the storm will be a boost and I already think roster wise they are equal to better than UTC anyway. UTC's O was totally shut down by Mercer D. Don't think ETSU does that, but it shows that UTC O isn't maybe as good as it was made out to be this summer.

Yeah and very shortsighted as they are losing countless amounts in the way of future action and referrals all over a measly $200, crazy.

Saw 17.5 at FD but got called into a meeting and now at 14.5 so a pass for me.

I like how you can never know who is in and who is out. Also how the hell do you get your top 2 QB's hurt on the first play of the game?

It's uncertain who'll be at quarterback for the Blue Hens Saturday after Ryan O'Connor missed the Sacred Heart game and Zach Marker excelled stepping in for the injured Nick Minicucci, who will likely still be sidelined.

You can see what the Delaware fans are thinking:

Have a lot of catching up to do, but looking forward to a nice night of New Hampshire - Harvard and general FCS study.

Haven't played it yet, may have to just do ML as UNH is favored everywhere. BetRivers had them -106 if I can get somebody in Ohio to log in for me.

Hope y’all are ok over there? What part in FLA? Another one maybe coming, stay safe and vigilant bro

I went back and forth on this one as I almost took UNH ML +120 when I saw it yesterday before the swing back today, but just can’t get a feel for it either way especially with all the line moves back and forth, so decided to lay off

I haven't had news on today, they were hopeful it would just be some rain, maybe a good bit, but seemed optimistic about that. Some areas flood easy though.

So I am on one of the barrier islands west of Sarasota right now. The further north you go the worse it is. Area called Bradenton Beach really got hammered. And we know about the panhandle area and NC and all of that. The area I'm at has come a long way in the last 7 days. A lot of good people doing a lot of hard work. But if you weren't on the ground floor - hey internet works, TV works I'm planning to watch some football this weekend. So perspective is good to have. Wish everyone else could who wanted to as well.

Kind of a toss up game. Would like to be getting some pts on the road - not like it is a hostile stadium or anything, just expect to be getting some, so I bet it at Bovada + instead of going the ML route. I do think New Hamsphire is better off personnel and coaching staff wise. I am hopeful their defensive pieces can keep Harvard QBs in check. It is possible the Harvard O finds success tonight. If that is the case I do like UNH's chances on offense as I have the Harvard D down a couple notches overall. Would I be surprised if Harvard won? No. Do I expect them to win? No. I mean, they really weren't that great vs Stetson if you look at it. They were up pretty good on Brown, I thought Brown's O just was totally off track to start that game. Once Brown played to their potential they were able to get back in the game. Now, how it exactly went down at the end is total luck, but even if Harvard doesn't bad snap that FG and all, the fact that Brown came back on them and Brown's D held Crimson O in check the 2H - I think that is evidence this isn't a Harvard team to remember exactly.

fugg. .cannot pick my nose in FCS right now. 62% overall. 41% in FCS....

1H started as expected, close, UNH better. 2H different story. It happens, lots of teams play in close games that can go either way. Harvard D appeared to change their pass coverage making it harder for UNH

Latest start ever posting for Saturday games. Probably will fall asleep doing this:

Bryant at Brown - historically close in-state series. Brown HC Perry was HC at Bryant before taking over at his alma mater. Each of the last 7 games have been decided by 8 pts or less. Feel like Bryant is getting a little better on the field, but not on the scoreboard (only outgained by 7y vs UNH, lost 17-38, only outgained by 52y vs Holy Cross lost 22-43). Off bye. Brown off epic win vs Harvard. I would need more than 6.5 to consider Bryant though. Could be Over, I'd want less than 55.5

Princeton at Columbia - Not currently on Fan Duel, but I know it was because I had a bet put in for me on Columbia +5.5. Princeton QBs not playing good...3 INTs and sacked 6x the first week and 5 of 19 (26%!) for 80y passing vs Howard last week, sacked 5x. Lehigh outgained them by 134y and Tigers only had a 49y edge on Howard. Don't think this D is up to normal standards yet and the O is pretty concerning. Columbia did get beat as road chalk vs Georgetown last week despite leading 14-0 early. Columbia faced a few longer fields and then turned it over at the G31 and G21 while also kicking FG from the G05. They played two QBs first game and one was out last week, but I felt they were both good... Freeman 50% and 3 INTs last week, so maybe Goodwin is better and Freeman is better off the bench. I read Goodwin is back this week. Princeton was -6.5 at home last year and won 10-7 although they did have a 102 total yard edge. I see a Columbia team that is better this year and a Princeton team that is not and Tigers -5.5 on the road?

CCSU at Yale - I missed the CCSU boat last 2 weeks with easy covers as DD dogs. I did have them vs Fordham, that makes 3 easy covers as DD dogs. I guess they are good? Kinda? Or well, as it turns out Fordham is 0-5, St Francis is 1-3 and UMass is 1-4 with the 1 being a win vs CCSU. So....well, they are competing and winning games vs bad teams, so it is better than last year. Yale is unsure who they are and they clearly miss some of their leaders from the last few years. Think their preferred QB was out last week. If I believe who should be the better team, it's Yale. If I believe who has actually played well vs the teams in front of them, it's CCSU. With that said, I don't have any appetite for this game.

Norfolk at Sacred Heart - Norfolk D is pretty bad vs anyone not named VMI. Last time SHU was at home they had their best game of the year, best game of last year probably. SHU D let Stonehill run for 354 (6.9). Pass

Wager at Stonehill - Stonehill off bye and before that off best game of year. Have 2 game road trip on deck. Wagner won last year by 11 thanks in part to 3 Stonehill TOs. Wagner is a little better this year, but pretty limited still. Lean Stonehill to win wouldn't want to count on them covering a number

Albany at Cornell - Albany continues to flounder. That game vs Maine was just 27-20 Bears when they got a 78y pick-six with under 2 min left to win by 14. Albany -3 TOs = 14 Maine pts. Albany has been outgained by atleast 70y in every game this year. Cornell off big upset of Yale (+173 yards won by 24). That was also a close game that was blown open by turnovers (Cornell scored 20 of 23 pts to go from a 13-14 game to a 33-17 lead. I haven't seen enough of Albany play to really know what they are having issues with. Like the Cornell O, not sure I want to back their D.

ST Francis at Delaware State - DSU is playing some pretty good ball. 517y (8.2) in a losing effort at Campbell...DSU led 21-10 and there were a few lead changes late in that one, they lost by 3. Two weeks ago, DSU led Richmond 10-0, but Richmond seized control of that one. Still had 375y (192y rushing and 72% passing no turnovers, 6.9 ypp) on a usually good CAA D Richmond. DSU played better than it shows in the score vs Wagner. Pretty sure Delaware State is the better team here. SFU off a bye, off EMich (shutout 36 pt loss), off CCSU in a game they scored one offensive TD. They did beat Kent although Kent blew multiple 2H chances to comeback in that one. I will go with DSU. Massey has SFU-9.5? huh? Sagarin has .5. I'll take DSU for sure if dogged

Penn at Dartmouth - already posted on this game

Morehead State at Butler - So Butler is like the best defense in FCS or something? 3 unlined games and one vs Murray State - that is probably the easiest first 4 game schedule I have ever seen. Butler probably is a decent Pioneer team. Morehead just beat Valpo with 216y of O, but held Valpo to 126 (2.2 ypp). Valpo had Appel at back at QB and it didn't go so well for them. Morehead has gained under 300y in 4 of their 5 games this year. Butler projects to be big favorite...I've already typed too much about this game, moving on.

Holy Cross at Colgate - not sure what to do here. Both of these teams look like an average Patriot League type team right now. Colgate off their two best offensive games of the year...Holy Cross still possesses offensive capability. I think this is an Over game. FD has 53.5. HC should've gone over last week vs Cuse. HC's last two FCS games went over 50.5 and 52.5 and the UNH - HC game had lots of points left on the field. Colgate O is operating well, but the D has allowed 400+ yards 3 straight weeks.

Marist at Davidson - Davidson avg 46 ppg and 517 ypg the last 3 vs Presbyterian, Point and Catawba, weak, but so is Marist. Marist has allowed 443, 458 and 528 their last 3 games - avg 45 ppg allowed in that span. Davidson should roll here lines in the 12.6-15.5 range according to Sagarin and Massey. Seems low. Davidson was favored by about that much at close last week vs Presbyterian. Could be an Over too if it comes out low.

Drake at Valpo - Drake led 27-9 in the 4Q but by the end of it they were trailing 27-28 and needed a walkoff FG to escape with a win. If anything I think that game shows you can't trust them to cover pts a favorite. They were dogged most of the week then went to favored as game apporached. Now they are looking like a road fav...vs Valpo. Running Valpo QB Tyler DNP last week as they brought back former starter Appel from injury. He went 10-20-60-0-2 and was sacked 4x. Not good. Valpo lost 5-17 at Morehead. Might be different back home this week, Drake only won by 6 last year and only outgained them by 38y. I won't be watching to see what happens here.

Delaware at Monmouth - Monmouth avg 584 ypg the last 3 weeks and avg 53 ppg! Last week they had THREE 100y rushers who all had over 9.0 ypc! Delaware is the best team they have played in a while so offensively Monmouth D isn't going to have it as easy like holding Fordham to 278y or seeing FIU convert just 1 of 8 3rd downs, or keeping Maine to 286y. This game could still be an Over figuring Monmouth could have up to 3 TDs below their average, but Delaware stands to score into the 30s as well (Lafayette scored 35 on 429y and E Wash scored 42 on 547y). That is what it looks like atleast. I don't see myself taking a total in the upper 60s or low 70s though assume that is where it comes out at.

Lafayette at Fordham - Fordham avg just 245ypg vs FCS teams this year. I know that Lafayette's D is not as good as last year, but vs that offense, it may not need to be. Will look for Lafayette at 7 or less on the road here, may be higher though

LIU at Duquesne - Dukes somewhere between -3.5 to 7.5? They only won by 8 laying 13.5 last year at LIU. Feels like the line should be higher this year adjusting for HF. LIU had been a fiesty dog vs URI and Albany plus played fairly even with Lehigh. Last week LIU trailed 0-24 vs Nova, they only gained 176y all game (116y on their final 2 drives when they scored all 10 of their pts). That might've just been an overly bad matchup for LIU, probably easier vs Duequesne. If this line opens where the Massey and Sagarin PR has it I would probably have to take Dukes just on the numbers, but if last year's line was used as a starting point and then flipped for HF, well that would make Duquesne a pretty big fav and hey, they just beat a Valley team two weeks ago, so they must be good right? If line were to be like 20 that would be a LIU bet for me.

Those are up to 2:00. Will have to get an idea on those and later games in some fashion tomorrow.

Out of that batch I have Davidson if under 2 TDs, Monmouth game over if 65 or less, Duquesne if 6.5 or less as my only 3 I am keeping an eye on for opens. Already took CCSU +21.5 and the over as well.

I'm seeing 58.5 on Monmouth

Austin Peay slowly getting more competitive vs teams in their neighborhood. Played bully vs Alabama A&M. At West Georgia? I can't lay pts with Austin Peay still and West Georgia has looked more like a Dll transition team more and more.

Already posted about The Citadel. I also took a small ML on them as that upset would not surprise me at all right now.

Richmond is poor as a big favorite, 2 TDs+ 0-2 ATS this year and think I have them 1-2 ATS on that kind of number last year. But would I really want to play A&T? This line does seem very high if it is 21.3-24.5...they were +33.5 vs Wake. Delaware was -13.5 at A&T. A&T has some injuries that I have not kept up on. They were outgained last 2 weeks by near identical 306-521 and 327-530 yardage counts, even worse 3 weeks ago 284-526. Hung for a half with SC State and Delaware, as they did vs WF. Maybe I take a shot at them 1H if Heritage posts something like +14

Hampton totally run over by William and Mary last week, 434 rush yards allowed! That isn't Rhode Island's style and URI is a mid-pack type CAA team in my book. Hampton maybe just a little below that level, not as bad as they showed last week. URI has been unimpressive I think this year. Nearly lost to Long Island, only had 259 yards (4.9) on Campbell when Campbell did some things in that game that helped URI out. Massey has Hampton +10.5 at home vs URI? I would take Pirates in that case.

I think this is the week I take Stetson with the theory of them being an improved team. I think their NAIA results this year vs last year indicate such - now I do not know the relative quality of those NAIA teams last year compared to this year. And then with Furman, the Stetson D made them work for it 4Q. Vs Harvard and the weather, a lot of things went wrong for them there. But this St Thomas team is looking pretty bad. Losing 64-nothing vs Lindenwood. Losing to Sioux Falls and only beating Black Hills by 10 with total yards even? You'd think they are good running team but even vs their Dll opponents, avg 3.4 on Black Hills and 1.4 on Sioux Falls? Only managed 3.2 on Lindenwood. St Thomas has been a basket case all year (excpet the UNI game - go figure). They might circle the wagons in conference play as this is the Pioneer opener for both, still, looks like this line could be 10/11? Stetson for me.

I like seeing Lindenwood getting better. Transfer QB out of McNeese has made a difference and Jeff Caldwell has been good player for last 2 years, exploded for 4 TDs last week. Tennessee State is kind of bust really. I don't think it is going to end well for Eddie George. Shoulda been a turn the corner year, but they play bad 2Hs vs inferior teams and just play bad games vs teams on their own level. Lindenwood has some juice right now, 2 straight wins, 3 straight covers and just missed out on a cover vs UCA 4 weeks back. I am going to take me some Lions, would like less than 4.5 if it drops from where FD has it currently

YSU and Indiana State just by memory play in a lot of tough games. Not an awful matchup for Indiana State D, it's probably a better matchup for them than Houston Christian was last week. Owens did return last week for Ind St and he is who they want at QB as he's not all that bad. Hard to lay this kind of number, believe it opened north of 2 TDs, got down to 11.5 now back up to 13.5. This is maybe a 1 score - 10, 11 pt type game as the last 4 have been decided by 12 or less. Indiana State won in 2022. I'll just keep an eye on this one. Surely the line will never get to where I would want to play YSU, but I could be enticed to take Ind St if it got back to it's highs

Almost took lindenwood at open as I saw -1.5 with ML 120 or 125 but I blinked and it went to 4.5. Thought about Stetson but would like less than 3 and know I won’t get it. Citadel was another I considered at 17.5 but passed after it moved to 14.5. Nothing else comment wise in this batch…
