1st glance at those prices maybe Red Sox and Astros. Ff under at wrigley and possibly kc. I guess reds worth a look (does WS winner get rings or banner hanging on opening day? Can’t remember). That just off top my head tho, I’ll get more into all the games later today.
 
Not a shock but good god pirates prices are gonna be redic this year, out the gates +200 vs a 40 something year old waino with I assume their best starter going? Cards are a 87-90 win team, maybe? Lol, fuck they gonna have huge lines and still be tough to play them! Have to look but I’m pretty sure half of waino resurgence has been thanks to picking on pirates crappy lineup.
 
I seriously didn't know Opening Day is tomorrow. On a Thursday and against the Masters? Brilliant!

Don’t think it bothers that many ppl. Even w tiger playing so now I care I’m still glad there other stuff cause I’m not gonna watch only golf!
 
Maybe it different here cause baseball so big but I doubt you can find hardly anyone who would watch day 1 of masters over cards opening day. Maybe Sunday the masters will win out but not thu in stl, not a chance.

There's alway "stuff" going on lol, I live in a city where half of MLB does Spring Training and only here did I learn that opening day is tomorrow. Zero buzz.

I love the shit and I didn’t realize till yesterday so I’m with you there, lol. I’d bet if they were being honest they prob didn’t even realize they did it, they were on verge of nobody caring bout their sport anymore so they got it figured out and slapped shit together quick as possible I think. Pretty obvious mlb is not well run!

I just started betting spring training 2 days ago, I was pretty shocked to realize season was starting! Lol. They shortened the hell out of spring, feels like should def be at least 1 more week, probably 2 as pitchers just started going 4-5 innings for most part!
 
Biggest tell that Spring Training is over is the lines to the strip clubs dwindle really quickly.
 
Gotta think pitchers still gonna be getting stretched out these 1st 2 starts cause I’ve only seen a few guys throw close to 100 pitches as of yet. Lots of games gonna end up having 4-5 innings of pen, lot of pens prob not even figured out yet! Could lead to some crooked numbers over weekend if weather decent.
 
There no chance I’m saying lay -200 with cards but I had heard waino came in fantastic shape and pretty much ready to throw deep into games, sounds bout right for him. He prob as likely to throw deep into this 1st game as any opening day starter. A lot of these guys havnt even thrown 5 innings in a start yet! I havnt seen anyone who has made more than 1 start of 5 innings so they are def cutting this shit short/rushing the start to get all 162 in. Now we just gotta figure out how to take advantage of it!

Once they start (reluctantly) playing their big-time prospects, Oneil Cruz and Diego Castillo every day, I would take a stab at those lines every now and then.

Oh yea, I’m all bout playing shit teams, or dogs anyways, so I’m sure I’ll be on them at times. I actually kinda liked this pitcher they have going opening day when I 1st saw him but without looking I wanna say cards started hitting him pretty well after seeing him few times, pretty sure waino feast on pirates and him at home on what prob his last opening day I don’t think the time to try them. There def be spots tho, especially if we getting +250 or more!
 
Pirates team total under maybe. Of course we gonna get a weather shift and it gonna be windy, gloomy, and chilly 2marro!

Looks like seattle/twins already been scratched also. I can’t believe the geniuses in minny built a new stadium without a retractable roof!! How dumb was that? 1st month always will suck and god forbid they make a postseason run it be snowing!! Lol
 
There was pretty good weather all around this past week so of course the minute opening day gets here we have a nasty cold front sweeping the country! Lol. I hate capping these games with cold, gloomy, windy conditions! They should use the old juiced up baseballs for this 1st month till weather breaks! Of course who knows what they might do?!?!

I would def be interested in the over in kc but not so much with weather forecast I’m seeing. Then again some pitchers don’t fare so hot pitching in it either! I would think a old ass like Greinke would be much better suited for warm.
 
Feel like every opening day is spoiled by weather. It's getting really frustrating. Gives even more reason to shorten the season (I know it won't ever happen) but would love to see 130 games, and start the season 2nd week of May instead.

Most teams are at least smart enough to have a open day Friday so they can hopefully get the ppl who bought opening day tix there for actual opening day.
 
I rather keep the season starting at same time and everyone build retractable roof stadiums! Lol. I never been big on the idea of shortening the season but my stance kinda changing since they insisting on more playoff teams, when you start letting half the damn teams make the playoffs you essentially making the regular season meaningless anyways so no point in 162. Baseball not only terrible at addressing problems they great at making the product worse! Lol
 
I actually liked the fact the season was a grind and it meant something since mlb playoffs were much more exclusive than the other sports. Then they went and added the WC with 1 game play in and I was able to rationalize that was still a big enough penalty it wasn’t end of the world and it did keep way more teams in contention late so that wasn’t terrible, actually think that worked pretty well!! So of course instead of leaving good alone they push it further and now we up to 12 teams I think? Top 2 in each league get a bye which is only a advantage in the sense the fewer series you have to win the better but watch how many of them get upset as they sit while the teams they will have to face build momentum! God it pisses me off how these greedy bastards ruin everything!! So yes there really no point in 162 if you letting 12 teams now make the playoffs! Even worse the players had to fight to keep it at 12, if the owners had their way we would have fucking 16 teams in playoffs!

The idea of the grind is cool, to a degree for me as well. I've somewhat lost patience/desire to sit through game 148 lately. I'm just done with it, and moved onto other newer, interesting things at that point.

As much I like the 162 and reg season mattering don’t let me fool you, come all star break I’m pretty much burnt on baseball and have to take august off to get ready for football, then I start back dabbling a bit in sept just so I’m ready for playoffs, Lol. I love betting bases and generally do pretty well but it a ton of work day after day and I often have things I rather be doing weekends during the summer! Plus I’ve always felt by ASB books have teams figured out better where as these 1st few months we will get good prices on a few teams who better than expected to be!

Same here as well. I'm obsessed April through July and really don't give a shit after that. At the beach, fishing, vacationing, etc.
 
First pass at tomorrow's games, I'm leaning on a Brewers & Under 10.5 parlay, +213. Brewers owned Hendriks last year, and we all know what Burnes can do. So you figure between multiple outcomes, Brewers *should* win, and even if they blow up Kyle, Burnes should keep the Cubs under enough to keep it below 10.5. If Kyle has his A game, even better for the total. Cold and rain in the forecast as well.

I’m shocked they have a total for a game at wrigley so soon. They never do that before day of do they? That total seems crazy high also! Burnes has looked great already this spring, he should mow down this shit cubs lineup!
 
That gotta be a mistake or something bro, that would be highest total on board with those lineups facing those pitchers? Plus like I was saying, they never give a wrigley total overnight that I can recall.

Yeah, maybe. Wind is blowing out to right center 15mph, which may be contributing to the total.
 
Wow. Draft kings does have it at 11., that insane, new day I guess!! I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen that!

Interesting. You ever seen them do that? I feel like almost always have to wait for day of game to get cubs totals. Is it just a opening day thing or a crazy new world? Wind can change on a dime up there which is why I assume they never post them overnight. Imagine how many times we could end up with a under 11 then wind changes and it 8 before 1st pitch!!!

It’s ballsy I know that! I like it! Of course there no way to know wtf will happen with wind speed or direction there so I dunno if there a way to exploit? Obviously shouldn’t get burnt playing under a number this high, chances pretty slim it shoots up more since it clearly lined for strong wind blowing out, and who knows it could end up being far less than forecasted or totally shift and be blowing in! They would have to drop it if that happened wouldn’t they?
 
i see they have strong winds there now but think they were forecasted to die down some by 2marro? I see rain in forecast also :(
