- 4.57 runs when playing a road game against a team they shutout for the first time in their previous game

Since 2002 there has been 1 instance of a team executing a 3rd straight shutout when that 3rd game was on the road.

The LA Dodgers are 10-3 SU their last 13 home games w/Manny on board, having scored at least 3 runs in every game (overall average of 4.92 runs a game)

OK guys. I have found a tidbit worthy of the level of the information provided by Betcrimes and SportsNut and rather than hold it back, I am honored to share it with my new friends at CTG.

In the Atlanta Braves last 85 road games, that dates back to August 9, 2007, they have NOT won a road game by only 1 run; not once in the entire span of 85 road games. They are 23-47 on the road this year and all 23 win were by 2 runs or more and the last time they won a road game by just 1 run was 86 games ago on 8/9/2007. While their 23-47 road record certainly seems like a losing venture, I would think that on the reverse run line (laying 1.5 runs at sizable positive juice), even at 23-47, they are probably showing a profit this year.

I like the Braves tomorrow and as such, will be taking them on the reverse run line. I recommend playing the reverse run line for the rest of the season if you like the Braves in any given road game.

I hope you find the information useful.

A little nervous about this pick. Kc is 4-16 last 20. Not a team I now think that can be bet for a full game. Greinke has lost 4 straight but has 5 high quality starts in his last 6. He is 2-3 vs Oakland in 5 games 4 of which were at Oakland and has never had a bad game playing them. He is on 6 days rest which for his career is very good. It does not show that way this year because of a trip to his personal hell the WS. Gio has had one reasonable game at home since coming up. The rest just garbage. Before he came up I looked at his minor league games and I believe I saw good home games but amost entirely bad road games. Now I can only see 2 minor league road games and 1 was good. I think Greinke pitches good tomorrow and KC takes the lead. I do not want to see if KC can hold it. Just a simple 5 inning bet on KC ml.
I guess I should mention something else. Oakland is also a very good first game of series team and simply much better than KC. I will have a bet on Oakland for the full game but do not expect much company on the second bet.

Well Balt has struggled badly of late playing good teams going 2-11 L13 . They are 5-23 away scroing 3runs or less

5 of 6 starts vs BALT Lester & Boston allowed 3 or less

Lester 11-2 13 starts at home

Balt 6-21 (22) @ Boston past few years

Liz @ Boston L12-1 and 9-8 and dint even combine for 5 inn in 2 starts!

In first game of series at home after a loss Boston is 8-0. In second game of a home series after a win Boston is 10-2. The 2 losses came early as Boston has won the last 9 in that situation.

Atlanta might just be the team that Florida needed to meet to end their horrible ways off a win.

Atlanta has conceded at least 4 runs in 14 straight road games.

Atlanta is 1-10 SU in their last 11 road games.

Atlanta is 15-5-1 to Over their last 21 road games, 17 of which have totaled at least 9 runs, w/an overall average of 12.14 runs/game (a whopping average for such a number of games). The only 2 games to total less than 7 runs came in the same series against, no suprise, San Francisco.

Opposition teams have totaled at least 4 runs in 11 of Morton's 14 starts - the exceptions being 2 home games & a road game at Petco.

7 of Atlanta's 8 road wins since the ASB have been Over results.

Baseline for Florida would seem to be 4 runs, and a competitive Atlanta = Over result (esp. with the Ump BHP).

Mike Reilly at Colorado last 4 years has home dogs 26-11. Tim off 132 pitches to Colorado last start and 234 pitches in the 2 starts before that.

Another team dwelling in nightmare city is Pittsburgh - 2-14 SU their last 16 games (losers of 10 straight), averaging 2.69 runs while conceding 6.19 runs, and only twice totaling more than 4 runs.

After going though an offensive funk themselves (scoring 6+ runs in 1 of 15 games), Cincinnati has turned that round recently scoring 6+ run totals in 5 of their last 9 games (incl. their last 3, all wins, at home). However Cincy is 1-6 SU this season off 3 straight wins & facing an NL team - extensive winning streaks have not been their forte.

Oakland is 11-1 to Under off their last 12 Over results, plays KC Tuesday off an Over result their previous game.

Over their last 33 games they've managed offensively...

24 totals of 0-3 runs (72.7%)
_6 totals of 4-5 runs
_3 totals of 6+ runs

...averaging 3.00 runs/game: 3.60 runs in wins, 2.74 runs in losses.

9 of their 10 wins during this time have been by 1-2 runs, and, don't blink, but they're 6-1 SU off their last 7 losses.

player notes

beltran left monday's game in the ninth after suffering a knee contusion sliding into home.. day-to-day

chipper back in the lineup monday after missing due to allergies/congestion (if it was any other player, i'd call him a pussy)

kotchman taken off the breavement list.. not in the lineup monday, and still no word on his return

aviles left the game for kc after being hit in the hand by a galarraga fb the other night, still listed as day-to-day.. pena jr likely replacement

j upton hit in the head by a pick-off throw.. left woozy and did not return, but walked off the field under his own power. listed as day-to-day

adam dont call me pacman jones back in the lineup monday after skipping his rehab assignment and blasted a solo shot off the byrd-man first time up

youk back in the lineup for bos after having flu-like symptons

freddy dolsi recalled by det after getting his shit back together with a triple-a stint, tossing 9 innings, one earned to show for

scotty linebrink activated by cws, looking to slide back in the set-up duty

rauch returned from forearm stiffness, threw a clownish inning, bitched to the plate ump and got tossed. fuckin redneck. don't think we'll see him tues

ryan shealy recalled by kc.. former florida gator is a right-handed stick and running outta time; thinking he'll be plugged in there against the rook southpaw, gio.

halos over 9.5- saunders aint been right and det's rook should take his lumps, again

red sox rl - liz has some nasty shit, but he's still all over the place. command still questionable and if you issue free passes to boston, they'll make you pay. over 11 in case balty bats show up, and they usually do. shit i think boston sniffs double-digits

bravos +145 - fadin fla off a win, while morton has kept his team in the game last two he's thrown against the fish, so why not. anibal aint quite anibal yet, either. shown flashes off surgery, but command is still hit or miss. tough to pass on that #

pirates +130 - reds layin a dollar fifty makes me laugh. harang loves to give up the long-ball, and he's lucky nobody was on base in houston his last start. he's slowly coming back around, though

may have to scratch the bucs off my list.. four runs in their last four games? granted they did just face CC sunday, but gottdamn. i think i can find some other ways to blow my money

Nut's got me leaning yanks with that Garza trend. I remember betting on that fuck his next start after one of those dazzling CG's and getting burned. Moose is good for a quality and Yanks bats sizzlin' yesterday. Dont wanna get in the way of the Rays right now either, especially with the offensive production in their last homestand.. prolly better off staying away

:blahblah::line:

greinke has a 0.51 era his last three starts, but the royals have scored a total of six runs in those three games. i'd be depressed too. show this motherfucker some love. initially leaned under, but you'd have to have some heavy stones to go that route on the touted Gonzalez, who's walked 19 batters in 22 big league innings thus far. Lean KC; hopefully Aviles is back in the lineup.

I am suprised no one mentioned San Frans record the day before Lincecum pitches, I am not sure what the # is but I do know that they lose most of the time as they did again yesterday & also 5 days ago.

They are 0-29 SU in games decided by 1 run in that period.

BC, wasn't there some ridiculous stat about how many games it had been since consecutive unders had been posted in games Baltimore had participated?

I believe the Giants are 1-21 SU the game before Lincecum's last 22 starts, and are 4-24 SU before all his starts this season.

call me crazy but i'm close to playing the Texas UNDER 12

I already played the first 5 under 6.5. McCarthy has looked pretty good since coming back and had something like 13 scoreless innings on his rehab stint. So basically a combined 2 ER in his last 23 IP at the combined levels. There's some pretty strong wind here today(weather.com says 18 mph going out to right) and it looks like it may pour down rain any minute. Texas is not great vL and Feierabend has had back to back solid outtings...so I figure with a number like that and Seattle's normally crap offense facing a seemingly rejuvinated McCarthy...

Seattle has been one of the hottest hitting teams lately. In their last 33 games, they are averaging 10.8 hits per game and 5.2 runs. Not saying this game can't go under, but Seattle's bats have been alive. GL.:shake:

Also...I'm showing wind gusting out at 12-17 MPH (not sure how accurate this is). All of these things being said, I'm staying away. :shake:

...and 10 of their lat 15 games they have scored 5 or fewer. 6 of those games were 3 runs or fewer with 2 needing extra inning runs to get to 4. So, out of their last 15 games, they have ended regulation play with 3 runs or fewer 8 times. If you look at the games they have scored more than 5 runs you'll see a common trend in the SP they faced. Matt Harrison, Zach Jackson, Dan Meyer, Gio Gonzalez, Glen Perkins. All are young, left-handed starters and most are not even ready to be in major league baseball. If we loop in all of their 5+ run performances, you see another game against Perkins, one against Buehrle, and one against Baker. Baker is the only righty here. SEA is 15th in OPS VL and 26th in OPS VR.

Now, all that being said, anything can happen in a game involving Texas pitchers. I just don't think that 33 game measure is an accurate depiction of Seattle's offense, especially against a RH starter.

Minny facing its seventh lefty starter in a row something that has not been done in the majors in 17 years. Minny 27-18 vs Lefty starters for the year

good stuff and good debate...in Seattle's last 17 games against right handed starters, they have scored 86 runs for an average of 5.1 per game.

I am hoping for a good start from Feierabend but again, playing Devil's Advocate, the totals in his 13 major league starts have been 11, 12, 19, 16, 14, 3, 10, 20, 3, 17, 17, 5 and 19 for an average of 13.61 runs per game overall and 13.25 on the road and an 11-2 OVER record. I have no stake in the total, so I wish you luck Big Herm. 6-0 Seattle after 5 does me just fine! :shake:

Totally different though home vs away ....struggle vs good lHP away and mash bad LH away and home...

...and in the last 10 games they have averaged 4.5 RPG vR, with 7 team totals 4 or under. In the last 15 they have also averaged 4.5 RPG with 10 team totals 4 or under. Certainly a good debate, it's hard to win a debate on either side when numbers can be so easily manipulated to work in one's favor. I really think it is going to come down to whether or not McCarthy can pitch well for 5 innings or not. I don't have a ton of faith that he will, but I've watched his last 2 outings and been somewhat impressed(especially considering I hate this guy and even more so because of what Danks has done this year). Time will tell, but I am locked in at under 6.5 for the first 5.
