L21 seasons...

Its huge to be a 1st Tier team (Baltimore, Detroit, San Francisco, Seattle). 69% chance of participating in the Bowl and 76% chance of winning the Bowl.

2nd Tier teams, 21% chance of participating in the Bowl and 14% chance to win it. A 2nd Tier team hasn't beaten a 1st Tier team (0-3) when they've met in the Super Bowl. The 3 times a 2nd Tier has been crowned champion, they defeated a 2nd Tier team twice and a 3rd Tier team once. Also, history shows the 3, second Tier teams who have won the championship were either a conference #1 or #2 seed.

3rd Tier teams are all but out but have a sliver of hope. 10% chance of participating and/or winning the Championship.

There is one team I can think of that has to be on the officially eliminated group yet they are missing which I am sure is just an innocent oversight.

Teams not listed are in top 3 tiers but currently don't qualify for the playoffs and haven't been officially disqualified from playoffs based on record.

I don't mind sticking with Ravens over Lions but that pass protection is really deplorable

Every team has a massive flaw
True, it isn't that good. The Ravens i give an edge over any team to win the AFC simply just based on the past history of the tiers. The book agree as the Ravens and Chiefs are darn near co-favorites.

They can win but they are definitely flawed

I have a few Steelers futures as of this week. These may crumble if the Steelers don't keep their defensive per game scoring near the top of the league.

Lions def Steelers +14500
Steelers to win AFC North +430
Steelers to win AFC +1850

In order for the Steelers to win the Bowl their opponent can't be Detroit, SF or Seattle and the Steelers would need to be a top 4 conference seed.

Including the Rams as officially eliminated after week 8 when they have Stafford & McVay on a 2 game winning streak, with more healthy olinemen returning while Puka and Kupp have returned makes no sense. They don’t belong in that category.

They're locked into the 6th Tier and are officially eliminated from participating in the Super Bowl. 4th-7th Tiers are 0/42, 0% SB participant L21 years. If someone would like to bet them to win the NFC Conference be my guest but it's not a wise choice.

I get it now. It feels like the NFC is more wide open now than ever before with the team leading the way is Detroit. Campbell however does enough on game day to get in the way of winning. His decisions are mind boggling at times.
Don't forget about the 1st Tier Niners. They'll be in the mix but it does look like the Lions NFC to lose at this point.
