jays ML and RL.... gas can knuckleballer RA dickhead has one good outing against the inconsistent, hot and cold, METS and suddenly hes only a +135 dogg against HALLDAY?

only thing is this iS seattles first game home after a 9 game road trip... the jays have had some road woes getting swept in milwaukee and 2 of 3 in pitt.... and they are 9-18 in game ones.

even though seattle bats have heated up they seem to severely favor LHSP.... while jays struggle against LHP and hit RHSP very well.

another game that looks easy on paper but will revisit it more later and do some more reading...

i told myself i wont bet on or against harang anymore because hes been way too inconsistent. im sticking to that tomororw..

maybe LAA and DET as well... will be back later.

Those are Wakefields career numbers vs toronto.

the last four years wakefield has done the following vs toronto

58 innings pitched 51 hits , 23 er , .235 BA from 2005-07 and .255 in 2008. record of 4-4

so toronto has bad history vs the knuckleball.

Throw in toronto road woes and i think that is why you see this line. I have no opinion on the game , just showing why i think Dickey is at +135 here.

Halladay is 1-1 in safeco since 2005 and has given up 19 hits in 13 innings there.

There are some concerns here with toronto here as a huge road favorite

Like i said , i dont have an opinion one way or the other but i think the current line can be explained.

thanks MCG, im starting to really hate this fuck again, even though hes only "offically" blown 1 save this year. numbers are deceiving:shake:

he pulled this bullshit last year too, blowing 6 i believe but a horrible 1.42 WHIP, but last year the closer i hated the most was WICKMAN. that fat fuck cost me plenty of units.

i just hate him because detroit is too chalky usually right now to play them on the ML.... so you have to play the RL and with the run support they get and the SP has actually been pitching well on a consistent basis now, the RL has some serious value at + money.

but you have to suffer a heart attack every time this fuck comes in no matter how big of a lead he has. he cant strike out anyone, you just have to sit and hope the ball stays in the infield. for god sakes he was last in the league among closers in K-rate last year. im tired of flipping coins with this gas can on the mound

and people say "well play them first 5", yeah im not laying -170 or -180ish on a first 5 ML. no thanks.

todd jones kills value. todd jones sucks:down2::box::down2:

Feldman got away with murder his last start. Does he get away with murder at Yankee Stadium? 6.92 road ERA vs 2.54 at home

surprised the met/cards total is at 9. No umpire info but wonder what you guys think of an under in that spot ?

Some facts regarding the CWS-CLE match:

RHP Gavin Floyd (8-4, 3.39)

Gavin Floyd is 5-1, 2.70 ERA at home this season, limiting opponents to .162 BA.

After 5 straight wins behind Floyd, the Sox had to take in a 5:0 loss to the Dodgers as Floyd took in the loss, 5.1 IP, 6 H, 4 ER.

Floyd's start in Cleveland this season:
6.0 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 4 ER, CHW won 6:5.

LHP Jeremy Sowers (0-3, 5.97 ERA)

Sowers on the road:
6.60 ERA, 15.0 IP, 22 H, 12 R, 11 ER, 4 HR, 4 BB, 8 SO, .349 BAA.

Sowers in June:
6.33 ERA, 0-3, 21.1 IP, 35 H, 16 R, 15 ER, 4 HR, 7 BB, 10 SO, .372 BAA

Upcoming SP matchups: LHP Cliff Lee (11-1, 2.34) vs. LHP John Danks (5-4, 2.62) at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday; and LHP C.C. Sabathia (6-8, 3.78) vs. RHP Jose Contreras (7-6, 3.99) at 8:11 p.m. Wednesday.

Both games way better chances for Cleveland to win. Lee seems to be a legit pitcher this year and Sabathia has been filthy, as opposed to Contreras who regressed big time.

Season series: Chicago leads, 6-3. White Sox lead.

Indians are hitting .223 (67-for-300) against Chicago for the season, but have only been outscored, 40-38. Six of the nine games have been decided by three or fewer runs. Sabathia is 0-1 with a no-decision against Chicago this year.

White Sox are hitting .280 against the Indians and have won six of the last seven games between the two teams. They've outhomered the Indians, 13-7. Closer Bobby Jenks has five saves this season against the Tribe. Downside: Jenks has been used in Sunday's game against the Cubs. He didn't pitch well, Cubs had runners on 2nd and 3rd (all on his pitches) before Jim Edmonds lined into double play which had only left a runner on 3rd with Darryll Ward at bat. Jenks pitched into a full count before Ward grounded out.

It could have been a much, much tougher ending for Jenks, even though the final score says White Sox 5, Cubs 1.

Injuries (fielders):
Indians -
Second baseman Josh Barfield (left middle finger), catcher Victor Martinez (right elbow), designated hitter Travis Hafner (right shoulder) are on the disabled list.

White Sox -
First baseman Paul Konerko (left oblique)

Form:
Chicago White Sox (46-35 overall, 27-11 at home), Won 4 straight games (swept the Cubs) and 7 out of last 10.

Cleveland Indians (37-45 overall, 15-23 away), lost 6 out of last 10, and two straight games.

Spot:
Cleveland had the Reds in the early game then traveled to Chicago. White Sox swept the Cubs at home in the late game and stay at home.

White Sox -1 is roughly at pick 'em. Too obvious? I don't care. I don't even care what happens to this series in games 2 and 3, but I do think the Sox will open another can of whoop ass Monday.

WS offense basically had Sunday night off outside of timely homers with runners on base. They rode their pitcher home essentially.

The line is pretty accurate its -155 and in Tor it would be -240. You cant compare being @ NY to being home . Also Halladay was just knocked around abot by his standards so you cant dismiss that either Cap.

With Tor vs knuckleballers be careful as Tor plays indoors (mostly) and we know the Wake loves the indoors ....see Minny and TB splits as well. So I would be careful with saying Tor cant hit the knuckleball based on that solely ......

No opinion either as Halladay is off a bad start and I dont know what to expect. Knuckleballer means never knowing what to expect . Jays lineup is soft .....a game I probably rather pass on as SEA is streaking ....nice trip probably for Jays as well....:shake:

Satyr - I see Floyd has 3 average-to-bad efforts his last 6 starts. While 2 were away, the 1 bad home one was against the absolutely hapless Rockies road team.

Looking at his stats overall, he seems to be pretty much either good or bad with little inbetween....
7 starts ERA >4.49
9 starts ERA <3.01
I don't like that. If someone's either on-or-off, and they actually start off bad it says they don't come back from it. This is a divisional match-up, so Cleveland isn't about to mail in a game.

any thoughts on this case BC?

Floyd is regressing past few starts and going back like 6 starts he allowed at least 4 runs in 5 though some unearned. He scares me now . Great night splits though and vs RHB . WSox still not hitting LHP it seems. Flat spot after the series sweep is always a concern. He allowed 4 Hrs vs Col . Just alot of warning signs with him and ore hittable on normal rest .

Much of his success is vs the Central though Cle hit him @ Cle.

Sowers making progress last 2 starts ....does seem cheap but if Wsox can only score 3 or 4 runs then I would guess they 50-50 to win this game.:shake:

thanks fellas

:shake:

Btw, SN, not worried how Galarraga was shelled twice against Minnesota this season, and he's now road chalk?

Remember, Ordonez is questionable for tomorrow and they could have lost to the "hapless Rockies team" :D on Sunday had it not been for Sardinha RBI.

Perkins is no sunshine but I think the Twins are getting no respect here, same as they didn't get any in their series against the Brew crew.

:shake:

Satyr- The Sox seem easy enough but I'll tell you that this is a dangerous game for them a simple reason. They're due for an emotional letdown after sweeping the Cubs. Look what happened to the Cubs after sweeping the Sox. Their mojo hasn't been around since.

Cleveland is tough to back at the moment, but they have to look at this series as their last chance to maybe make a move in the AL Central. I'd expect them to play with more intensity than the White Sox for this series, and especially game one.

GL with whatever you do.

good info on the wake vs jays numbers kyle..... but i think even though theyre both knucklers, its like comparing apples and oranges.
wake is a much more solid pitcher then RA is.

toronto hitters HAVE hit RA well in the past, just havent seen much of him in awhile

Blue Jays hitters vs R.A. Dickey

MCG, thanks for the feedback. I think what Cubs were going through was a little different, they just started to feel the absence of Soriano and they had Sean Marshall go against Jeremy Guthrie in the next game after sweeping the Sox. This is a much more favorable matchup for CWS and there's no danger of them "playing it easy" as perhaps CHC could have, given the fact beating Baltimore isn't that high in their books (correct me if I'm wrong).

This being a divisional matchup I think we can be sure both teams will be fired up.

I actually am counting on a potential letdown for CWS, just not tomorrow with Floyd and Sowers going, even though BC, SN and yourself make some great points.

I still think that the Indians will be the team that "didn't make a run for it", unlike the Tigers, Twins, Yankees, and many others who are, or have climbed from sub .500 holes.

I've seen them several times in the past few weeks and I don't think they can play good ball without Martinez, Hafner and to a lesser extent - Barfield.

Even if some of these guys have had poor numbers YTD. They don't have that winning mix that won them games throughout the last season. They may wake up to disprove me, but if they do I like them to do it in games 2 and/or 3, can hardly see them stepping up on Monday.

However, I have been wrong so many times in the past few weeks regarding the situational spots, it's safe to say I have had much better baseball seasons to what I'm going through right now, treading water and fighting for air.

and not only that, but I also have to put up bums like Todd Jones screwing my bet twice in 10 days, which was a 30 unit differential for me, basically can't be compensated, not with my current form.

Anyways, I'm still looking around, won't be pulling any triggers just yet.

roy roy is 4-3 w/ 2.87 ERA in 10 career starts against the m's, so has had his success. you gotta think hes gonna be hungry for a win here after losing his last 3 outings and coming off a terrible performance against cincy.

dickhead hasnt faced the jays since 04 but did come in in relief earlier this month and pitched 2 scoreless innings...so maybe that should help the jays adjust to him. i would not like it if they had not seen ANY of him since 04.
you would have to give the advantage to the deceptive pitching style there... but they did see a little bit of him at least.

still not sure what im gonna do this game because im really against laying road chalk, and this is a fair amount of it. maybe wait for some line movement and throw them in a parlay, well see. toronto is not the team you wanna play a RL with either.

also looking at chisox RL satyr.... i watched a lot of this tribe/reds series...

i dont think the loss of hafner is that a big of a deal to them. hes batting under .230 this year and is not having the season he had last year behind the plate. he was batting in the 8 spot most of this last series.... hes been dead weight and a huge dissapointment after a great year last year

MARTINEZ, even though and has been injury-ridden, i think is the biggest loss here. theyve continually relied on him for the power hitting and while he still hasnt hit a HR this year he's good for plenty of extra base hits/doubles. the tribe havent had problems GETTING on base, theyve had troubles leaving men on base, due to a lack of power hitting.
peralta and blake have really been their only spark here whos been driving in the runs with some hard hit balls and extra base hits...

sizemores bat has finally woken up as he's been going yard but the majority of them solo shots...

they also lack consistency in the later spots of the lineup as delucci and gutierrez have been extremely dissapointing and anemic.

kind of remid me of the giants or dodgers of last year... bad situational hitting. hitting a single or two here and there but not being able to drive em home.

oh yeah another random thought....

if you had told me a year ago that LOHSE against maine would be essentially a pk'em.....

i would have told you your out of your fuckin mind

thanks fellas

Btw, SN, not worried how Galarraga was shelled twice against Minnesota this season, and he's now road chalk?

Remember, Ordonez is questionable for tomorrow and they could have lost to the "hapless Rockies team" :D on Sunday had it not been for Sardinha RBI.

Perkins is no sunshine but I think the Twins are getting no respect here, same as they didn't get any in their series against the Brew crew.

:shake:

Not worried so much with Galarraga's performance vs Minny in the past as he was good the 1st time @ Minny and I know there was something about the last one I just forgot what . My concerned about his last outing . However I expect DET to hit Perkins what I did let slip my mind was Maggs injury not sure I want to pay that now. Then again they could have easily opened this Minny -120 after Galarraga' was shelled so just may stay on that lean after some research tmrw. Upon 1st glance a line seemingly set to attract Minny money but it wont be me on Minny .

Good point though:cheers:

I think Twins got some respect . Look at the price for Sheets today vs Slowley about 20 cents cheaper then it was vs JoJo Reyes and prefer Reyes .

surprised the met/cards total is at 9. No umpire info but wonder what you guys think of an under in that spot ?

Think it settled 8.5 . I can tell you this I knew Lohse was due to get his ass handed him to him and said so many times in the discussion in the DET game. He was allowing 11 hits in 4 innings . Now does he bounce back ? Tough to tell think he was due for at least a minor rough patch . Mets lineup is so weak after the 5 or 6 slot though . Depends on how he does in jams. Maine has been solid but never great this year. Always seemingly give a few runs yo even in his best starts . So 2 runs in 6 innings does that mean 3 or 4 allowed in 9 with the pen even on a good day ? Pujol is back now as well . Lohse struggled 3 times vs NY in 07 . He also hasnt gone deep in games either .

Really think its a toss up. Clearly these guys can pitch well enough to keep this low scoring but sort of think both are feeling there way at the moment.....:shake:

Love the avatar by the way ....

Just remember also Halladay took that liner off the face in Pitt . Problem with Tor is there lineup and well Dickey you just never know what to expect . Because of the sweep maybe SEA is overvalued ...Just hate big prices when my team cant score and at least Dickey isnt LH. RA Dickey was a stud in college . The guy got fucked by a picture on some magazine cover . Its crazy actually . I think the Texas team doctor noticed how his elbow was pointed in a rested position or something of that nature . Anyone they knew he was goona need elbow surgery and did the tests . Believe he did and cost him about 500K in signing bonus ....This was going on when I was in college so I remember it but want to look it up and see if there are any articles on it:shake:

Tough game and doing my best to stay away from what I see as tough ...Which has worked great since I took in 26 units the past 2 days ....

I know he had a cognetive defect and had no UCL which is what they spotted I guess in the pics but cant find anything on it

great thoughts. thank you. Have an opinion on that padres/rockies game ?

Oh, just noticed that given a 1 run lead into the 9th, Mr. Todd Jones had a 1-2-3 inning this past day. The only reason I didn't bet Detroit again at those odds? Mr. Todd Jones.

Fuck you, chump.

When Maddux faced Colorado on 5/10/08, he got the 3-2 win at Petco. The total was set at 8 there and is set at 10 tonight at Coors Field. Maddux loves the located fastball, and he has a huge propensity for the groundball. In the previous meeting this year, Maddux's ground/fly ratio was 1.43 and he averaged only 11.3 pitcher per inning (68 pitches in6.0 IP... his 3rd lowest average this year). Maddux allowed only 3 hits and recorded just 1 K.

Based on historical figures, I think Maddux can get the Rockies to swing at his pitches and with Maddux's style of pitching, the hits should not be runs. The question is, can de la Rosa control the Padres bats?

Lean Under 10 in Colorado.

TX/NYY over 10. Mussina has resorted back to his old gas can days and Feldman sucks on the road. TX scores a ton of runs. Both teams should hit 5 IMO. Thoughts?

surprised the met/cards total is at 9. No umpire info but wonder what you guys think of an under in that spot ?

Two tired teams
A very compelling case can be made for the over
yet the total sits at 8.5

I like the under full game and 1st5.

One game that has caught my attention is in San Fran on the west coast.
We've got two southpaws going at it in Lilly vs. Zito
Ted Lilly is 8-2 in last 10
Barry Zito hasn't won a single home game all season yet
Line looks low enough for public to bite on the Cubbies as indicated below

Don't you think it looks like a sucker bet???

There is tremendous value on the UNDER. Pinny was at 9.0 early morning and has since joined the Greek. (8.5 -115)

Also, when the Cubs played as a road team at night, as 1st game of a series and coming off a road as underdog series loss: the UNDER is an astonishing 14-2-1

I think Zito finally comes through for the Giants faithful..at this price, you have to give them a shot IMO

my 2 euros worth...

.....LiveWire reports indicate Aramis Ramirez will depart from team for the next three days to deal with family issues back home in the Dominican Rep.

i'm rollin w/ the mets and over 8 (-115) tonight. both teams had double digit hits yesterday and even tho mets only scored 3 they left a ton on base and could have scored more. some of the bvp numbers for mets vs. lohse are HUGE. that doesnt mean they hit him tonight but i dont think lohse can keep up his form. like sn said even when maine pitches well it isnt too deep into games and he gives up a couple runs. mets have church back which is nice and wright, reyes, delgado, beltran, church, schneider all have the capability of hitting lohse really hard. i dont think slu will get shutout at home and it will probably be a one run game either way. public is on slu pretty heavy and line went down from -120 range to even money, so im thinking sharp money coming in on mets. this bet is getting most of the action today because it is on national tv and most of the other games suck. im thinking 5-4 or 6-5 game in favor of the mets hopefully and even though it might barely go over w/ a number like 8 i could see 4-4 game early and then i have it locked up. public is SLAMMING the under because of these two pitchers w/ their very respectable stats, and that is why the line went from 9 to 8.5, i actually never saw it open at 9 but betcrimes said it did and if so then having 8 at low juice is a steal imo.

Halladay very rarely has back to back rough outings.

And the bats have heated up a bit since Cito took over.

keep in mind that in Halladay's start prior to Cincy when he was at Pgh, he left the game early due to taking a line shot to the temple....Docs said he didnt have any problems from it but I bet against him anyways last week and he was shaky at best...not sure if this bears any thought but something to keep in mind.

Zito pitched well last week at Cleveland too

too much mid-range chalk that i think should be winners, but am not willing to lay the -140 or -150ish that is required on all of these.
just not worth it.

may just sit today out, no reason to force anything

or will play a RL or 2 and loook for the split...chisox RL being one of them....

My take on three games tonight:

Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati
San Diego vs Colorado
Cleveland vs Chicago

Bucos @ Redlegs
Reds return home after a 3 city 9 game trip in which they went 4-5 and it was somewhat disappointing to play so poorly in Toronto and get swept. Perhaps the best thing that happened on the road trip besides the pitching staff being fairly effective in New York and Cleveland was the return of Hairston and Keppinger to the lineup. Neither one has enough AB's to qualify to be considered among the league leaders but if they did they would be sandwiched in the 5th and 6th spots respectively.
Keppinger hitting .322 in 171 AB's
Hairston hitting .324 in 142 AB's
These two provide a spark and energy to this ball club and really think with their pitching finally coming around this is going to be a sweep of the homestand with 3 against Pitt then 4 vs washington. Maholm did throw a shutout vs the Reds on April 11th but not putting to much stock into that. He is just 1-4 with a 6.15 ERA in 6 starts this year on the road. Harang was roughed up about a month ago vs Pitt and he has had a miserable season. Maybe its wishful thinking but at some point fully expect Aaron to turn this season around. Reds were -200 last time Harang took the mound and if memory serves correct they were -160 or 70 in Cinci when Pitt came to town. Now they are backed by a healthy lineup that in a perfect world would look something like this.
Hairston SS
Keppinger 3B
Dunn LF
Phillips 2B
Votto 1B
Bruce RF
Hopper CF
Bako C

I will be on Cinci ml and maybe -1.5

Next game I am looking at is
San Diego vs Colorado
A couple of teams on some serious skids, losing 7 and 8 in a row each. San Diego just got swept by the lowly Mariners at home while Colorado is returning home from a miserable 6 game road trip. This spot sort of reminds me of what this team did last year about this time. They lost 9 of 10 on the road then went home and swept the Mets and took 2 of 3 from Phili. Not saying this team is last years squad that got so hot but I think San Diego has regressed and Colorado is finally healthy. Tulo and Holliday back so think they may be primed to give themselves a shot to get back in the race in the west. They're pitching has beend he downfall of late but the lone bright spot outside of a short outing in KC is De La Rosa. He has made three starts thus far and like what he brings to the table tonight. Is colorado heating up??
Col ml -120

Indians @ White Sox
I have been on the Sox for the last week and just see no reason to jump ship now. Sowers a soft tossing lefty follows Marshall who fits the same mold last night. Sox have won 6 in a row at home and are one of the best home teams. There are some good stats above so won't get to much into this one.
White Sox -150

Three plays I like Reds, Rocks, Sox now somebody tell me what I am missin here

Love the Twinks at home again....been playing em like crazy. They are dogged again despite being 2-0 v. Galarraga so far this year, and they are killing at home.

+105 to house

Would duck the Reds. Pitt 5-5 last 10 at the site and looking at the last 10 games for both teams think Pitt has played much better and scored more runs.. When the Reds won at Cleveland it was almost like they had no opponent. Pitt was fighting a very strong Tampa team. Harang has still given up 5 run in each of his last 2 starts and the Reds at home are 3-7 last 10 which is the same as Pitt on the road. No real problem with the other 2. GL

Pitt was a team I was looking at. Two pitchers going in seemingly different directions with Maholm improving and Harang being so oddly mediocre. Seems like a decent price for the Bucs here.

may jump off the Reds but I am jumping on the Reds/Pirates Over 9 this
either team has a good shot to get to 9 by themselves

Mets/Cards Over considerations
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
most interesting this line drop, what's the basis for it?

20 mph wind blowing in? Nope
light breeze L to R

Ump on a massive under blitz? Nope
actually 4-1 to Over last 5

icy cold temps? nope
81 degrees

neither pitcher getting any run support recently? Nope
Maine has gotten 8, 7, 7, 5, 5 & 5 runs support L6 games
Lohse has gotten 7, 5, 3, 5, 6 & 3 runs support L6 games

either pitcher on an Under blitz recently? Nope
Maine 5-0-1 to Over last 6 starts
Lohse 1-1-2 last 4, 4-4-3 last 11 - straight down the middle

Is it because neither team can get up for the other (dead motivation)?
one would think that's impossible between these 2 teams as long as the core players that played in the 06 NLCS are still present.

is it because both teams produce a shitton of Unders at the specific venue after a series of games at the opposite kind of venue? Nope
STL 3-1 to Over in a home game off 6+ road games
Mets 4-0-1 to Over in a road game off 5+ home games

Is it because injuries are robbing both offenses? Nope
Pujols & Church are both back for their respective teams.

Is it because ESPN games have had a shit-ton of Over results recently and statistically the call is for a correction? Quite the opposite.
ESPN games 5-0 to Under last 5, 14-4 to Under last 18, 9-1 to Under last 10 with an NL home team. 23 games since the/a losing team totaled more than 5 runs. 9 games since an NL losing team totaled more than 2 runs.
All statistical streaks of unusual length compared to the norm.

Small bet on Over 8.5

Busy day so not much time to really dig that deep . I have hoops at 7 and maybe 8 as well so again I am in a huge rush here. I have some PMs to answer and will do my best to ASAP .

7 PM quickies -

Maine @ Lohse - Thinking Mets and over . Basically as I have said I expect a little bump in the road for Lohse. He really has had few rough starts all year let alone some consecutive ones. Maine seems to be on track past few starts and is best on normal rest . Like Church returning to the middle to lower part of the lineup. Delgado is swinging well and Lohse had trouble with NYM in 2007 . Pujols 2-6 with 2Hrs and 7 RBI vs Maine . Lohse has some issues vs this lineup especially the lefties-

Beltran 15-29 4Hrs 11 Rbi 8 bb 5k
Reyes and Scheinder both 3-8
Delgado 7-13
Church 4-8

Maholm @ Harang - Feels like such an over to me not sure if I am missing something though . Pitt pen has to be somewhat overworked . Harang will sloppy lately noticed he has been much more effective on normal rest with I think 2 somewhat poor putings . Maholm on the road usually struggles and especially vs RHBs but very stout vs LHP . Keppinger and Hairston's returns helps alot vs LHP as well. So thinking Reds and maybe over .

Wash @ Fla - Some absences notebaly Uggla . Basically think Tucker gets a good matchup as LHB have been his downfall . So the RH orientated Nats should struggle on offense and RH have really given them headaches of late. Marlins played well vs Zona and pulled out a win yesterday as did Nats . Just think Reddings last loss ( Was 14-3 in his starts) was 10 starts ago to yep Florida . Lean Under here as well but will play Florida who has played Nats real well . Price is high but scratch out the SP and ask what the price would be ?

Texas @ NYY- Prefer Texas +1.5 and under . Feldman has been solid on normal rest . He gets NYY minus some key LHBs and we know there struggles vs unknown pitchers . Moose a creature of habit I worry about the rain shortened outing and then hin going a few days later being out of his routine. The under because Texas has some key LHBs and Moose has been solid vs LHs..

Looking at KC (maybe over ) , Houston ML , Milw ML , Det ML , TB and Cle +1.5 RL .

Have to run now.......BOL all :shake:

anyone dealing with live betting in the Cards/Mets -

in ESPN games...
the 1st scoring team has won 12 straight games
the 1st scoring team when the home side has won 12 straight games

both very unusually long streaks statistically speaking

SN, stults has thrived off of weak LHB teams this year in his 2 starts. Berkman and Bourn are the ONLY lefties here... Think houston can score on him?

fucking reds... kmacc was spot on ... keppinger and hairston with back to back hits to leade off the game and yet no runs. reds down 1-0
