Locking in Bobcats
See no word of new injuries but getting 12 at 5 d.
Simply do not understand it
Bobcats playing with great heart 4 wins and 6-4 ATS last 10
Bucks on a Bad day of week
THrough 2012 as a 8 plus fav they are 3-7 ATS
Teams is 2-8 last 10 ATS

Clips off two straight losses and come back home - should be able to stop the bleeding I think.

Don't really like much today. Glad bases is back.

As tuck pointed out. The bucks aren't very good on Mondays and neither are the hawks.

The jazz should be giving max effort but laying that many is not something I'm comfortable doing given they just beat them in Portland.

Houston is going to finally be seeing a team with a shitty defense. After playing SA, Indy, Memphis and LAC.... Rockets should put up points after scoring less than 100 in 4 straight games

The Milwaukee line is way too much. Not touching anything there

Indiana has won 4 in a row and they have three days off after today. Clippers just had 4 road games in 5 nights, pissed that I overlooked that in the houston game.... So this will be 5 in 7 nights all with travel. Not the best spot.

But the cavs are still the cavs... no kyrie again and that has gotta take a toll on the team

and looks like Byron Scott has lost the team

Asked directly last week if he has received any indication he could be fired at the end of the season, (Byron) Scott said, “No.” But as these crushing losses have mounted, players are privately questioning Scott’s guidance. To characterize the Cavs’ locker room as divided or turning on their coach would be inaccurate and melodramatic, but the whispers are growing louder.
“We’re exhausted,” said one player, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the topic. “It goes back to training camp. He killed us in camp. We don’t have any legs left.
“Our shootarounds are an hour and 45 minutes. They’re not physically demanding, but we’re still on our feet all that time. We had a two-hour and 15-minute practice the other day and an hour and a half of that was a hard scrimmage. At this point in the season, that’s crazy.”
“We’ve had so many injuries that I’ve had to tone down [practices],” Scott said Friday. “But I’m not going to scale back what I do practice-wise because I really do believe it prepares guys to play in this league and play on a consistent basis.”

maybe a 2h play on atlanta

Paul Pierce may be captain of the Celtics, but in spirit and general work ethic, the man is very much a hockey player.He spent the latter part of last night’s game on the bench icing his right ankle, but he should have spent another bag or two on his back after the way he tried to carry the rest of the stumbling C’s (except for Jeff Green) in a 108-89 loss to the Knicks.
While Green had another good outing with 27 points, the captain had 24 and 15 rebounds (his most since a career-high 19 on Nov. 1, 2006) in 32 minutes. His five assists were also high on a team that had just 12 — a figure that speaks volumes about the outcome.
It’s likely Pierce will be rested tonight in Minnesota as Doc Rivers gives a break to someone of whom he has asked so much.

[h=2]CAVALIERS AT HAWKS, 7:30 P.M. ET[/h] April 1, 2013 · 7:31PM
TV: League Pass

  • Hawks center Al Horford will be back in the starting lineup Monday when Atlanta hosts the Cavs in an attempt to win consecutive games for the first time in weeks. Horford missed Friday’s loss in Boston and Saturday’s home win over the Magic because of a stomach illness. The Hawks, who have alternated wins and losses over the past nine games, will also start Josh Smith, Kyle Korver, Devin Harris and Jeff Teague.
  • Kyrie Irving was impressive in the Cavs’ 112-92 loss Sunday in New Orleans after missing eight games with a sprained shoulder, but he will not play Monday in Atlanta. That’s part of a plan. Cleveland coach Byron Scott said that Irving — who has missed 22 games this season with injuries — will not play in consecutive games. That plan could change, however, if Irving’s health holds up. He did not grant interviews with reporters before the Hawks game. “He didn’t lobby [to play] this time,” Scott said. “I think he understands we’re just looking out for him. We want him to finish the season on a good note, and healthy going into next season.” Shaun Livingston will start at point guard for Cleveland, which has lost eight straight games.
  • Hawks rookie John Jenkins, who scored a season-high 19 points in Friday’s loss in Boston, will miss his second game as Atlanta officials follow NBA concussion protocol after Jenkins’ head met Paul Pierce’s elbow late in that game.
  • DeShawn Stevenson (knees) is available for Atlanta.

[h=2]SPURS AT GRIZZLIES, 8 P.M. ET[/h] April 1, 2013 · 7:27PM
TV: League Pass

  • Playing a night after losing to Miami on a 3-point shot by Chris Bosh with 1.9 seconds remaining, San Antonio will be without three starters against the Grizzlies. Forwards Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard about both out with sore left knees, while guard Manu Ginobili is nursing a right hamstring. All three remained in San Antonio. Coach Gregg Popovich said he didn’t know who was replacing them in the starting lineup. “You can guess whatever you want,” he joked before the game.
  • The Grizzlies are one win shy of tying their franchise high of 50 wins set during the 2003-04 season. With nine games remaining, they are certain to surpass that total. But that’s not what’s on the mind of coach Lionel Hollins, who was an assistant to coach Hubie Brown when the Grizzlies last accomplished the feat. “I’m sure one day we’ll get it,” he said. “But we’re still talking about just being the best we can and improving and doing all we need to do so that we’re playing our best basketball going into the playoffs.”
  • Despite Keyon Dooling’s tweet earlier that he has signed with the Grizzlies, there has been no such announcement from the organization about his joining the team. Dooling retired after last season to resolve some personal problems.
  • This is the final meeting between the two Southwest Division rivals. The Spurs hold a 2-1 edge against the Grizzlies. Since being upset by the Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs two years ago, the Spurs have won six of the last seven meetings between the two teams.

[h=2]CELTICS AT TIMBERWOLVES, 8:00 P.M. ET[/h] April 1, 2013 · 7:26PM
TV: League Pass
●Boston will be without forward Paul Pierce tonight. Pierce turned his ankle in the first quarter of last night’s blow-out loss to the Knicks. He stayed in the game and notched 24 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. He’s expected to play on Wednesday.
●With the Celtics missing all of their current Big Three, Jeff Green has filled their scoring void recently. He’s averaging 23.5 points on 51.5 percent shooting over the last four games. “It’s been great (to see him emerge.) With the whole heart thing you don’t know if this is progression from sitting out a year or if this is him getting better as a player and getting confident whether he sat out or not. But he is growing and it’s just great to see his confidence grow.” Doc Rivers on Green’s stretch of strong play.
● Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic, expected to play tonight after sitting one game with a left ankle injury, is now a late scratch. suffered late in Friday night’s victory over Oklahoma City. He was coming off a dominant stretch of three straight double-doubles including battling Dwight Howard to a near draw with 19 points and 16 rebounds last Wednesday. Coach Rick Adelman is glad to see the big Grecian on the mend, “He’s our main guy inside. When he’s on the floor he’s a real problem for the other team.”
Ricky Rubio is quietly having a solid come-back season for the Wolves this year, but his success does not yet have him among NBA statistical leaders because he does not have enough numbers to qualify. If he gets three steals tonight, he will officially be ranked 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in the NBA at 2.30 a game. If he dishes out 12 assists, he will be ranked 8[SUP]th[/SUP] at 7.3 a game. He had a near-triple double against Memphis on Saturday with a career-high 23 points while adding 10 rebounds and nine assists.
●Over the past six days the Wolves have faced several dubious losing streaks. So far they are without success. They lost 120-117 to the Lakers for the 21[SUP]st[/SUP] straight time on Wednesday. The Grizzlies beat them on Saturday to make it 11 wins in a row over Minnesota. Now Boston comes tonight having won the past 11 meetings.

[h=2]MAGIC AT ROCKETS, 8 P.M. ET[/h] April 1, 2013 · 7:07PM
TV: League Pass

  • The Rockets will play without two starters Monday when they host the woeful Magic. Leading scorer James Harden (sore right foot) will miss his second game in a row, while small forward Chandler Parsons (food poisoning) will also be unavailable. Coach Kevin McHalesaid James Anderson and Francisco Garcia will slide into the open spots in Houston’s starting five. “It’s not ideal,” McHale said. “The guys in the locker room who are there got to be ready to go. … James Anderson has been great in practice. He’s working hard, and you’re trying to give him time, but sometimes it just isn’t there. He gets a chance to play a little bit now.”

  • Magic guard Jameer Nelson, who sprained his right ankle in Friday’s win over the Wizards, will sit out for the second straight game Monday. Beno Udrih, who finished with 20 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in Nelson’s absence Saturday, will start alongside Tobias Harris, Moe Harkless, DeQuan Jones and Nikola Vucevic. “[Nelson] is really day-to-day. I think I saw him going out to shoot right now or stretch,” coach Jacque Vaughn said. “I like how aggressive [Udrih] was [in the last game]. He’s done it before. He’s been a starter in this league, so he’s more than capable of filling that role.”

  • After posting a 2-2 record in a stretch that included matchups with four teams that will likely win more than 50 games this season, the Rockets (40-33) are in prime position to secure a postseason berth. Four of Houston’s next five opponents were at least seven games below-.500 entering Monday, but McHale is weary of his young club’s tendency to overlook inferior competition. “We can’t fall asleep against these guys,” McHale said. “[The Magic] come out and hang around in games. They seldom get beat energy-wise.”

  • The Magic (19-55), who have lost seven consecutive road games and 42 of their last 49 overall, have not defeated a winning opponent since they knocked off the Pacers 97-86 on Jan. 16. Orlando’s last road victory over a plus-.500 team came four days prior to the win over Indiana, as the Magic stunned the Clippers in Los Angeles 104-101.

a few weeks back, i saw someone on blankets post about the pacers struggles against scoring pgs... although its not necessarily a struggle.... just what is able to be exploited by their defense
