Friday MLB Discussion Thread

What's odd? Fiers is ass. He has already played the Angels twice and got blowed up both times.

Oh yeah. He’s definitely not good. Just not often you see an awful team favored on the road over one of the best in the league

Imagine I’ll be on White Sox
Like. Lester has yet to play a decent lineup. Got lit up by MIL in most recent start.

Keuch has been decent, not getting a lot of K's though. Have to research the cubs lineup a little more.

Might play just to go against Lester.

This will be Fiers 3rd start against the Angels. Any capping thoughts about that? I'm guessing it doesn't happen that often in the reg season.

I’m sure it happens pretty frequently with division rivals

it surely happens, but maybe not so often in this type of stretch. Good thing is Fiers isn't exactly tricking people right now, but i lean to him as a dog as I think OAK hits Heaney and that bullpen too

Duffy also being seen for the 3rd time

Plus money with anyone against the Brewers is a solid bet. Brewers team unders especially first 5 are very solid as well. I don't know the exact numbers but I am pretty certain that they have been no hit through 5 innings 4 or 5 times already this season.

not sure i agree with that, though yarbrough has not been great so far

Yarbrough not been great - I prefer Shoemaker here. Also, wouldn’t be surprised to see a letdown from Rays coming home after a big sweet at the Yankees. Wasn’t saying I’m betting Jays yet but I certainly lean that way

As far as the White Sox go, they have the top wRC+ against LHP this season and I’m not Lester’s biggest fan anymore. Keuchel is a guy that Cubs bats struggle with

maybe no Bryant today, but still surprised to see CHW favored at Wrigley

Rays numbers against Shoemaker look like a lineup of 9 pitchers with bats in their hands. Given those numbers and returning home from Yanks series, wouldn't be surprised if we see a bat or two get the night off. I went under, sold it to 7' +140

shoe looked really good last year until his ACL injury. Got ejected after allowing a HR in his last start vs TB this past weekend since he mouthed off after not getting a called third strike

Yarbrough's 27 career victories, six are against Toronto - he has a 6-1 mark with a 2.00 ERA in 11 appearances (four starts).

I knew tonight was going to be hell on Earth when I wagered real doll hairs on the Red Sox and Angels
