Really liking your card, kyle! In fact, the only play I'm against you on is Southern Miss. I simply believe that Troy's superior defense, and more balanced offense will boost the Trojans to a 7+ point victory.

Best of luck on the rest, though maybe we'll both get lucky, and Troy will win by 4-5 points!

I guess i missed something when capping the trou/usm game. Everyone and their extended family have bet troy it seems. Oh well , i dont see it though if they win by 7 or so it won't surprise me.



Also , rare case where i might end up with more money on two games. tcu and iowa. i am a flat one unit bettor in every sport but i may make an exception with those two. Just letting you know. For those that are multi unit bettors , i recommend those two games as ones to consider for that.

Going exactly as capped except usm is battling officiating , lost their best player to a noncontact broken leg on what was probably going to be a td , and given up a defensive score.

If this continues , it will be one of my best capped games of the year. Torching the Troy secondary without their best receiver.

If they just play this good second half they should win outright.

Those of you who have read my threads i hope know that i try to be more self critical than the type of guy to pat myself on the back. But this time , I am going to pat myself on the back because i feel this was one of my better capped games. USM was the better football team on that field tonight and the strengths and weaknesses played out pretty much as i had envisioned.

When i get a game completely wrong later in the bowl season ( which hopefully happens later rather than sooner ) , try to remember this one... i am right every once in awhile.

See the Giants game for stressful ......somehow 5 bowl games and I am something like an insane 19-5 already......think I hit 6 of 7 in that game losing the under 55..why cant it always go like this...

-they overcame the punt return to the 8 yard line or thereabouts.
-they overcame losing their best offensive weapon to a non-contact broken leg

They were the better team in 3 of the 4 quarters and the one they lost wasnt that bad 10-0....:shake:good stuff

yeah there were quite a few peculiar calls against usm in this one and i am sure i would be whining more if Troy had actually covered...which looked more probable than not heading into the fourth.

We appreciate the humbleness, but you have capped the So. Miss and Wake Forest games superbly only to have to win nail-biters.

The way you have prepared for the bowl season the odds are better for you to nail a game that is academic by the end of the 3rd quarter than to totally whiff.

Great job so far this bowl season, the hard work is paying off....and you are just getting started adding to your bankroll my friend.

nice hit kyle...if only this team could have played even close to this when i bet on them vs boise. everytime i watched them the passing game was non-existent and they relied 100% on fletcher. you were absolutely right that they have become a lot more balanced. it's something i just didn't believe even when looking at boxscores and stats. i'm glad everyone on here seems to be having a good bowl season...rough waters for me so far as troy was one of my favorite plays of bowl season and it wasn't even close

...i really like Boise State tomorrow but all this public stuff on BSU and everyone whose opinion i value are on TCU is making me wonder.

Great write-up on UGA, kyle. I like them to win this one handily, but i absolutely hate laying points, especially when it's at a full possession. I'd buy the hook to 7, but i'm not sure if i even want that, really.

When Troy was up 27-17 early in the 4th and the WR Moore (i think) decided to dance around instead of getting the first, followed by the 4th and 1 stop, I knew I was in trouble. If Troy converts there, this game never touches OT and my shot at covering was a lot better. Now, thats not to say I should of covered, cause I'm not saying that. If DeAndre Brown never gets hurt, SoMiss would of ran Troy off the field because they would of had to use 2 guys to account for Brown and still have Fletcher-Baptise-Nelson- and the QB with his mobility on every play. Its unfortunate he did get hurt like I said in another thread. A big problem I had with Troy watching that game was how they handle the zone-read. Levi Brown is no threat to keep the ball and run but Troy continues to use the Zone read play. SoMiss clearly didn't respect the fake and came crashing down hard everytime. I was waiting for Levi to hold the ball just once and scamper for about 15-20yds because there was never anyone in space accounting for him due to his inability to run. Also, props to Fedora for not only having a big set of balls but being creative about it. That 4th and 1 TD to the TE in the jumbo package, was a thing of beauty

Anyhow , good hit.

well if they hit a fg on that drive they probably cover. tht ws no guarantee even if he makes the first down there ... and that was a bonehead play.

As for Levi Brown and the running .. that has been the case all year.. if jamie hampton was in that part of the gameplan would have been open for them but Brown can't run and the coach doesnt want him to because of their depth issues.

Game could have gone either way as far as covering or not and USM was a dog to cover heading into the fourth. I was just ahppy about how it was capped. It wsn't like it was an easy win obviously.

i am in the EXACT same boat gwarner. i dont want to lay it for whatever reason despite the fact it looks like i should. I might find a way to utilize them in a two team teaser.

I love TCU tomorrow , for what its worth. Match up nicely and appear to be motivated. Boise st is really over rated in my opinion and the colly st fresno game gives me more confidence.
