just some thoughts:

first, with the whole world awaiting, will SHAQ make his long waited debut?? and its against the lakers.... how will the lakers fare against phoenix w/ shaq, lakers dont have bynum (who was a big key in victories against the suns) this time though they have gasol

clippers shouldnt be laying 7.5 points against anyone in the league even if its against the griz

atlanta will play the kings so the bibby return arco arena would be early, former team mates play each other, line looks soft by the way with the hawks struggling on the road and the kings dominance at home

boston vs golden state is an interesting game, match up wise the celtics have beaten the warriors in blowout fashion in previous games.... at this moment celtics are playing hard against the nuggets to avoid their first loss of the season, warriors however had the early night off as they are being blownout at salt lake early, warriors are much more rested, interesting

cant wait for the lines of the 3 games off the board
a.)like the hornets w/ them just a half game advantage for the first in the west
b.)might see value on the bulls, nets are garbage w/o kidd
c.)begging for a short line for the cavs<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I think I'm gonna hammer Boston coming off a loss to Denver. KG and Perkins hopefully got their legs back and didn't overextend themselves with only 20 and 9 minutes between them. My Warriors loss also and are good at home but they play absolutely no defense. Celts are one of the best in the league defending and I think they get it done tommorow.
 
The Lakers/Suns game should be interesting. Who's gonna guard Shaq? Gasol is a PF and if he gets Shaq, he's gonna pick up some quick fouls. Turiaf is more of a PF also. W/o Bynum, they might be in trouble as Amare will draw some fouls also.
 
I've been thinking about Phoenix for a while now with Shaq starting and my take on it is b/c they want to defend better in order to make it to the finals. That is the only way they have a chance with the way they play. If his presence is felt in a positive way defensively then we might be looking at many unders to come in their next upcoming games. This game against the Lakers are two very potent offenses. I believe b/c of that we might have a line that is just a little off. I'm gonna be hitting the under now and see how much it drops by 2marrow. I already see it went from 223 to 221.5 at spots.
 
pistons jumping out at me .. short trip to milwaukee to beat up on the bucks..

bulls also jumping out at me.. they getting all their ballers back along with what master p said.. nets are garbage and got numerous new players to put together.. if the bulls want in on playoffs.. they should use this game as a stepping stone to start a run.

pistons made me absolutely sick tonight watching the game... saw a postgame interview of flip saunders and he was pretty ticked off about the game... i really dont know what to think of my pistons anymore to be honest... logic says they roll but im real down on the way they played 2nite but hopefully it was some all star break rust
 
Lakers/Suns Over ... Lakers shot the ball extremely well tonight.. they had 6 guys in double figures.. with Kobe and Pau only playing 30 and 31 mins.. coasted through the 2nd H.. I'm expecting the Lakers to come out fired up just as how I think the Suns are going to come out blazing.. both teams want this game and you'll see shots dropping.. Lakers have to double team Shaq if not the Diesel will have a field day dunking on his old team.. or he will throw it out to his shooters.. I just see both teams executing well offensively and shots will be plentiful even with Shaq in the Suns lineup as Nash and company will still want to run..
 
also of significant note.. if lakers win the game they pull into a tie for the division.. they lose they'll be 2 games back

i've been watching and following the pistons more this year than i have in previous years.. what's impressive about this team is their focus (when they have it).. and after getting shelled tonight by the magic at their own joint i just see them coming out and taking care of bizz tmrw.. bucks are improving but they are still the bucks.. i really like pistons 1st H more than the game.. but -6 is something i would still lay with the stons

possible strategy for me is taking pistons tmrw and friday..

pistons upcoming schedule is @ bucks.. then home against bucks on friday before heading out for a 4 game trip out west @ phx, denver, utah, clippers so i think they will beat up the bucks not just once but twice.. thus if i lose on em tmrw.. i'll jump right back on the stons friday.. ride it till the wheels fall off
 
The Lakers played Atlanta who had 20 turnovers in the 1st half leading to easy shots. Atlanta is a foolish young team who can't match the Lakers. Remember when SA played Pho and it was the craziest under game ever seen with Pho actually playing D. I know it was to a depleted SA but still. We could see a whole change in pace in this game as I've only seen once this year with them and would expect to see more.
 
I'm not saying don't take the Over b/c I like it too but I feel it could definately be close to this number and I'll take my chances with this opening line and see where it goes 2marrow

i hear ya man.. its going to be a big game and both sides should come out with playoff intensity.. even if shaq were not making his debut this game would still have a lot of intrigue.. suns trying to even the season series.. lakers going for 3-1 h2h.. lots of angles and mumbo jumbo to sift through with this game..
 
I agree about the lakers killing them.

I'm not so sure about running all night in Denver and then trying to run with the Warriors. they could do it, but I sure as shit wouldn't lay chalk there.

I don't understand why the Cavs line is dropping. Someone explain it to me?

The Bulls should be mostly healthy again. -2 at the Jets?
