Biggest question for me Is do we believe this the new Logan webb? He striking more guys out than ever, walking less guys than ever, yet he 1-5 w a 4.10 era? The issue seems to be in between those k’s he is getting barreled up and hit hard more than any other time in his career. I just dunno if he gonna keep fanning guys at this rate? His swinging strike is up a smidge but it still a little under 12%, he throwing more sinkers than ever before which doesn’t usually lead to more strike outs, yet he has easily went past this number in 5 of 6 starts, they giving us plus money on the over 5.5 so they must not totally believe it either! His last 2 games he was excellent, one was against the cardinals who now can’t hit a fucking piñata! (More about those losers in a little bit). He has went 6+ in all but one start so he pitching efficiently. There is def enough swing and miss in Stros lineup if he going 6+ innings he should fan at least 6.

I guess my biggest concerns he never really gets great results in day games despite nothing being glaringly different, his k rate actually been higher in his day starts so not sure it matters but he does sport a career era one and a half runs higher in day than night games. Dude is tough to figure out but it tough to pass on the price considering the results, I don’t like relying on past results but they tough to argue with, he did fan over a batter per inning 2 years ago and this only his age 26 season which a time a lot of good pitchers get even better. The other concern the swinging strike isn’t as high as you would typically see for a guy striking out more than 10 per 9. He getting more called strikes than ever, he was pasting some corners against cards and maybe that the answer, the only problem w that is if he has pinpoint control why he giving up a way higher home run rate and more hard hit balls? Beats me.
 
I think webb change up is getting more break than ever and he def getting more swings and misses with it! Looks like he peppering the low outside corner to righties with his sinker then he throws that change right at that spot and it falls off the table. Between the extra break and using those pitches off each other more maybe he can keep it up. I assume he won’t keep missing as much, the hard hit rate should come down. Stros offense didn’t look so hot yesterday, the change should neutralize the lefties. I don’t see any reason he can’t pitch deep into this game, he pitches 6+ innings the k’s should be there.

Not being the kind of guy who reads the fine print you can Imagine my disappointment the 1st time I lost a $200 bet and the next day I got a $10 free play! Lmfao. Again what the fuck up with these guys thinking I want to bet 10 bucks!?!?!?! Anyways since they also do this with SGP every day of playoffs I’ve come to just using these to take free shots at crazy parlays, I actually hit my 1st nba one yesterday! Nice little 400ish bonus to the account. So now I’ve started doing one with baseball every Wednesday cause why not? Keep in mind no real capping here, just 1st thought off top my head parlay, here it is:

Long as they gonna give me free 10 bucks for making crazy parlays I’ll happily keep tryin them: I usually like ho make them pay more than this just havnt really finished card, no clue why I didn’t add seattle ml or others, guess I was in hurry to leave.
 
I have no clue how in the fuck cardinals gonna score runs off Ohtani-son? They were made to look stupid yesterday by a average at best lhp, they generally hit lhp but they can’t hit a freaking piñata at the moment. If it wasn’t for oakland this might be the worst damn team in baseball!! I worried bout the pitching keeping them out the playoffs but I thought at least they be fun to watch playing a bunch of high scoring games! This shit is ridiculous!!

While im ranting about these losers might as well bring this up, why do they refuse to play Gorman vs LHP? I watch other lefties all around the league hit against lhp! In 2 stinking years Gorman has been allowed to hit 25x total vs lhp!! This supposed to be one our cornerstone players of the future and he gonna sit every time we face Lhp?!! How he ever gonna learn? One these days he gonna come up in big spot and a team gonna bring in a lefty out the pen, we gonna pitch hit for one our best players?? Or just let him look foolish since he never gets any at bats vs this side!! I’d love to blame Marmol cause I think he a awful manager but this has to be a organizational call since they did the same dumb shit last year!!!! If he nothing but a platoon player why you refuse to trade him?

I’m so tired of this team, I’d love to go watch ohtani pitch tonight but I can’t be caught dead in the stadium supporting this trash product! Not me! I only root for winners! Don’t think I won’t pick a new favorite team you Mfers!! I won’t be one the lemmings supporting you no matter what! Put a good product on the field or I bounce!! This is dog shit and the answer wasn’t sending down walker which will probably ruin him, the answer ain’t sitting one your best players every time a lhp starts! The answer not hoping a 50 year old waino can stabilize a crappy rotation!! Nothing they doing is anywhere close to being a answer that gets them out the cellar!! Time to clean house of this upper management that been living off the coattails of things the former GM’s and presidents accomplished while they happened to be in the building! All these losers have done is trade away what coulda been a very good pitching staff and one the best clutch hitters in baseball, all they have to show for those trades is some bum pitcher who can’t even succeed in the minor leagues!!

I dunno what any of that has to do with today other than don’t bet on cardinals! Under seems like the play but not sure we want to trust the pen, we can trust angels pen cause they facing cardinals hitters! Cards pen another story but I do think Mikolas should be able to go 6+ innings which should allow them to use the 2-3 pen guys I kinda trust! What a shit show. Ohtani gonna dominate us, no shame in that, it was yesterdays game that was a embarrassment!

Mets have split or swept their last 25 double headers, current record. I took them -1.5 for the first game with the intention of slamming Scherzer game 2 if they lost.

Lol. I dunno bout all that, you fans pissed me off back during those few (very few) years ya’ll were on top. I remember going to playoff game one the years ya’ll beat us and I wanted to choke some cubs fans!!! Mfers who never won dunno how to act when they do!! Lol. Plus I don’t trust you guys pitching either! I’d like to be a mariners fan but they not hitting any better than cards, I do love their pitching tho, the kid they brought up last night looks better than anything cards have!! I suppose I should be a twins fan since I have a WS future on them at 35-1!!
 
Looks like Valdez was a better play than Webb, I dunno, he could get there, he hasn’t got a few the easy whiffs they have at bottom Stros lineup. I couned another 1-2 out of those guys 2x around! He could do it but he gomma have to have great 6th against top the order!
 
Well shit, no k’s but webb got thru 6th so easy he should get another crack at the high k guys closer to bottom the order, problem is he will see tucker 1st who prob won’t strike out then he have to punch out 2 in row to cash. Damn, he pitching great but this more like the Webb of last year going deep without the k’s. Mfer.

I was thinking I didn’t trust him but assuming he probably hasn’t pitched in Detroit in some time, maybe he wants to show out? Plus he probably angry bout the whole sticky finger thing, he strikes me as better when he angry! Unless of course he been taking advantage the sticky stuff and loses little something without it?
 
The only damn guy webb can punch is pena! Mfin 7 clean innings, 3 k’s of one guy and still don’t have 6. This crazy. Man if they would let him go out for 8th I believe in my heart he could get one those 2 in the 8-9 holes. Maldonado a easy punch out! I doubt they let him pitch the 8th? Maybe? It not like these been high stress innings and he only at 92 pitches! Give me a chance giants!

Lousy Mfer walks the 8 hitter, he let maldando on base 2x, between those 2 guys he got 1k. Shoulda been at least 3. Only needed 1. Then they leave him and he gets the double play that helps nobody.
 
And he fanned 1 guy 3 freaking times. So 7.2 innings and he couldn’t get 3k’s out of the other 8 hitters?!?!?

In ‘19 Mad max came back to Detroit and punched out 14 over 8 innings of domination. Not sure this the same Max of previous years but he should be good and fired up tonight!
 
Damn, I was hoping to see the normal 3.5 the often attach to Freeland k’s but guess they smarter than I give then credit for! 4.5 a sharp number, no chance I’m betting him to tan 5 but can’t play under either cause this a very good matchup for him. Woulda loved 3.5. Oh well, I like Rox Ff
 
How do we not play seattle again? Even when they were getting no hit yesterday I was never too worried, I knew if they could get to the pen they would win the game if it was close! A’s pen is atrocious, yoi would expect gilbert to win the starting pitcher matchup here but long as it close seattle will find a way to beat these losers! If seattle offense wasn’t struggling so bad I’d do Ff -.5 and -1.5 but they just not scoring much. -156 isn’t that bad a price to be against a team with 6 wins!!!
 
Ok pads need 2 more runs. Freaking soto is back in walk mode, so frustrating. Working counts and drawing walks great when you a middling player! When you have the talent to hit over .300 with 35+ bombs and 100+ RBI’s you should be looking to do damage the 1st pitch you get over the plate!! He has been being little more aggressive this past week but last night he went down staring at a called 3rd strike and today bAck ti walking every at bat. I dunno if he took any meatballs or not today? That been his mo tho! Bogarts carried these guys early but he struggling lately, stop walking and putting the pressure on him, so some damage!! Still got 4 more innings of reds pen to get 2 runs.
 
How impressive it been the way Lugo has transitioned info a starter after being a reliever for so long? He has been good too, not just ok.

That respect for milw pen, I get it but that crazy at coors, I assume the pen gonna have to get Ton of outs tonight so I had to go w 4.5 for game. The more pitchers you gotta use at coors the more likely one gets shelled!

missed the early start, but Webb has been even better than his numbers this year. Ump misses strike-3 next pitch HR for a loss type stuff

Scherzer gonna have to find another way to cheat, might as well try cause he not earning his money playing fair! Bang. Varland gets 2 k’s to finish w 6 before getting yanked. That was my biggest one for the day. Meant to post ohtani after I got home but started having dinner and forget, think I might have hinted at him earlier, lol.
 
I have never seen ohtani throw as many sliders he throwing tonight, like I think he throwing too many. The book gotta be out on cards cause I’m guessing this the highest percentage of sliders he thrown all year. He not even mixing things up.
