Speculation: The books have determined the Spurs to be the dog in this game. But if they post something like +3 odds for the Spurs everybody and his dog might bet on the Spurs, which is great if the books are right in their original calculation that Utah wins, but disastrous if the books are wrong. So the books post -3 odds that will still line up a good majority of bets/money on the Spurs, and they rake in a good profit if their original +3 prognosis turns out to be correct. And if the Spurs win (how far-fetched would that be?), the books lose, but they don't lose their socks...

Because the Spurs have annihilated the Jazz in all three matchups this season. They're a terrible matchup for the Jazz. I totally get the fact the Spurs don't need to win but they still want to play good basketball and avoid getting into bad habits. If they make a couple bad plays in a row pop takes a timeout to scold his players. The Jazz are really good defensively but they still have serious issues at times on offense.

lean SAC-POR under: first 3 meeting went under. teams off a meeting vs GS are 66% U/O this season when AF like POR. U/O is 18-13 when SAC off a win.

Does anyone know for atsdatabase queries how to separate streak of 4 U/O for a playoffs serie from 4U/O riding on 2 different series like game 5 and 6 of round1 and then game one and 2 of next serie(round two).

I think many of the Kings players have had a Lot of rest and resent losing to Portland and that after Portland loses by a million to GS they are not in a good mood and still need to win. It does not seem a calm situation.

Took Utah +3.5 and ML. Also took Sixers as a small bet. Liked the Nets, but news on Lopez and Young made me skip it and Pels won, but three wins in a row with such roster... I will check Sixers chances here.

if i understand well, teams off a tough 7 games series with short rest vs a future opponent who had the luxury to finish its previous serie in 4 is just 1-6ATS since2007?

but what is the overall % to win the serie for a team who won previous serie in 4 vs a team who won its previous serie in 7??
