Took Memphis +8. I know that Spurs are off a loss, but with Thunder losing last nght, Spurs almost secured first place in the league and it's about time for Pop and the Spurs to get some rest before the postseason.
Memphis plays Spurs well, needs the wins and gets really heavy line here.

Divol,

Nice point on Memphis. Like the way they match up, and it makes sense that the Spurs may be on cruise control now.

Sunday is usually Spurs kill at home day and the Spurs still have 6 more games left in the season

Might be right. Spurs last year did not cover a spread in the last 7 games but a problem is they are on 59. Tend to think number 60 would be special to them.

As I understand it Knicks and Atlanta now fighting for number 8 with Atlanta ahead. Sunday is Heat Super day 20-0 and 16-6 ATS with Heat off a loss. Might like Heat too. No real reason not to help Atlanta a 0 threat team.
Heat very tired from last game. Early morning game need to read some.

May just call it in the morning 500 day games in MLB and now some day NBA:thumbsup2:

OK, based on schedule Heat have to win this so they do. Covering an issue?

Heat and Thunder both should win, but it's hard to bet against teams that are fighting for their lives.

Both off losses, both fighting very important battle for seeding. Thunder have 3 losses less than the Clippers, but still need to play the Clippers, so a loss here and with still 2 B2B games left and still small shot at catching the Spurs, they should really play strong tonight.

Phoenix very unbalanced lately. Can get in big holes and get out from them and can build a big lead and then blow it away and lose. I think that they should really struggle against Thunder that will be almost in full roster.

As for the Heat, Heat off a loss and after tonight's game, play B2B at home against the Nets and in Memphis. Losing at least one of the two is really possible.

Carmelo has small injury, but on the other hand, Knicks next game will be only 5 days from now. 04/11 in Toronto (also not the easiest game)...

Tuck, as for the Spurs, I know that Sunday is their day, but I do believe that late in the season, it's not important - or at least - not that important and also, it's still a lot of chalk to lay against really good team.

IMO Spurs looong stretch of covering like crazy (19-4 ATS before their last game loss) is going to get reflected in their lines precisely at the point where they "cease to care" = sets up a patchy period ATS. Their opponent or no play for the rest of the reg. season.

GS is 11-2 Under as a double digit fav this season, Last 3 meetings vs Utah: 3-0 U, avg score: 186 pts. All the umpires have positive Under records this season. Already lock this sweet under 194,5 pts.

Last game of the season between LAC-LAK: I expect a defensive effort from both teams and especially from the lakers, so like the under 226 on this inflated total.

i'm gonna stay away from SA-MEM: MEM has a losing record on 1 day rest whereas Spurs are 7-1 on 2 days rest. MEM falls into BC's thread (2nd game post road trip after having lost ATS 1st game back). it's a trap game

Updated the lines.
Heat, Pacers, Dallas, Warriors and Portland - all five should win SU, still trying to find the best parlay to play them.

Clippers and Blazers should win by a combined 50 points.

Very impressed with Portland last week in a similar time/setting vs. Memphis.

Anthony Davis probably distracted by this ref aided run by the Wildcats last night.

line between PHO-OKC is taking into account that westbrook and perkins will or will not play?. Cause if they don't play game should be a pick'em i think

small system, really big play: play on teams trying to avenge a 46-57 pts loss that happened in March or earlier in the season. these teams are perfect 10-0 su (all as underdogs) and 10-0 ats (covering by around 19 ppg). PLAY ON: LAKERS +16 big play... also risking a very small amount on that very big moneyline (Lakers +1900)

>8 @D in December to May, facing same opponent in next game are 15-50 ATS if they were a +2.5 to +9.5 dog in last meeting, and have a bigger line now than in last game while opponent has a smaller line than in last game. PLAY ON: HOUSTON -11 small...

@D after a home win of 16+ as D or -5 and smaller F in which they scored >100 and <132 are 64-134 ATS. PLAY ON (small play): INDIANA PACERS -8

H pk/D after @ pk/D(<8)W of 14-30 pts in February->April are 25-0 ATS if they have a worst winning % but not by >30%, with 1+ rest vs opponent<2 rest. PLAY ON: PHOENIX +2.5 (very small play).

Home teams with no homers hit/allowed in last two games and 17-25 pts scored/allowed in those games are 67-33 OVER. PLAY ON: OVER 7 in KC/CWS game (big play).

I wouldn't bet with my worst enemies money on Indiana right now. That team has lost their identity and is a free-fall, the public just doesn't want to acknowledge it.

Really like the Lakers angle of revenge, nbafan trend only supports what I thought.

Miami similar to Indiana, only they have LeBron and Indiana does not. Wade likely to play, Knicks "need" this game, but I think it's lined correctly.

Agree with BC and Spurs. Likely Memphis for me.

@nbafan: yeak already like the lakers. Triple revenge factor
What mean @D? or as D?.

With you on KC-CWS over even if don't like the umpire "Gibson" (slight lean towards under as an umpire). But total is low so ok. What's the % of home run (homer) in a game in average or over the span of an MLB season total homeruns scored/total runs scored?.

What's your query/database? Where did you find these system?

Was thinking about creating an MLB system like this one: O/U records an ML Units for pitchers that throw> 100 pitchs last start or 300 last 3 start with 3/4/5 days rest. Perhaps thinking about adding parameters like ERA<3,00 and Age> 30 or 35 years old. Idea is that an old overused SP without lot's of rest might be tired in their next game, leading to lot of runs scored or his team losing. Can you check this "system" to find if there is anything interesting that comes out?

NBA | ATLANTA at INDIANA
Play Against - Underdogs vs the money line (ATLANTA) double revenge - 2 straight losses vs. opponent against opponent off a road loss
336-100 over the last 5 seasons. ( 77.1% | 106.0 units )
13-6 this year. ( 68.4% | -3.1 units )

IMO Spurs looong stretch of covering like crazy (19-4 ATS before their last game loss) is going to get reflected in their lines precisely at the point where they "cease to care" = sets up a patchy period ATS. Their opponent or no play for the rest of the reg. season.

Then what is the point of posting it? If its stupid, pointless and annoying we sure as fuck don't want it here.

um some people actually like it

im on the lakers live +17... not sure if i want to buy off or not

the disparity in talent level is scary

Lol lakers, first nba game I've watched in months what a shitshow

Thank God for the soccer to get us threw these trying times

Yes let's judge the nba by the lakers' performance. That's fair. That's like judging the sport of soccer after watching India in soccer

funny_sports_soccer_football_india.jpg

hey...who's talking shit about India soccer?!?!

this shit is legit...

Think it relates to brainwashing really. They have been beaten so badly so long that fighting back is hard.

They lost every quarter. For some reason their best scorer Jordan Hill did not make it to 29 minutes. I am something of an asshole. I would have hurt at least 1 Clipper player.

Just saw the score... Are the players yelling at each other
or just don't care

If you are the Wizards, you absolutely want to fall back into the 7th spot, no question.

[h=2]PELICANS AT TRAIL BLAZERS, 9 P.M. ET[/h] April 6, 2014 · 8:10PM
TV: League Pass

  • Portland can clinch a playoff berth with a victory and a loss tonight from one of the following teams: Dallas, Memphis or Phoenix.
  • New Orleans’ Anthony Davis, who has been dealing with back spasms recently, is expected to start to tonight. “Spasms and soreness, but he’s a lot better than he was,” New Orleans coach Monty Williams said. “He’s structurally fine. We’re OK playing him if he wants to play. We think he’s going to play tonight.”
  • That’s bad news for the Trail Blazers, who have yielded 36, 27 and 21 points to the 6-11 Davis in their three meetings this season. It will be a matchup of All-Stars at power forward, with Davis going against Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge. Davis “is a talented young player,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said. “His offense is really improved this year and defensively, he creates problems in the paint.”
  • New Orleans had won five in a row before losing four straight going into tonight’s game. The Pelicans are going without their 2-3-4 scorers in Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday, plus reserve center Jason Smith, all missing due to injury. “It’s comparable to if we took Damian (Lillard), Wes (Matthews), Nic (Batum) and Joel Freeland from our team,” Stotts said. “It puts a lot of pressure on everybody. Monty’s a terrific coach. He has handled the situation very well. I’ve been in situations like that, and it’s difficult. This league is hard enough when you have your guys. I can empathize with what they’re going through.”

[h=2]Thunder at Suns, 9 p.m. ET[/h] April 6, 2014 · 8:09PM
TV: NBA TV

  • The Thunder’s Kevin Durant has scored 25-plus points in 40 straight games, matching Michael Jordan (1986-87) for the longest such streak in 40 years. If he goes for 25-plus tonight, he’ll have the longest such streak since Oscor Robertson scored 25-plus in 46 straight in 1963-64. Durant will be guarded by P.J. Tucker, the Suns’ defensive specialist.
  • Thunder off guard Thabo Sefolosha will miss his 17[SUP]th[/SUP] straight game with a calf strain. All the Suns’ regulars are healthy.
  • The teams have split, 1-1, this season with each team winning at home. The Suns have an early indication that they weren’t the lowly team that pundits projected when they took the Thunder down to the final minute in Oklahoma City in their season’s third game on Nov. 3 before losing 103-96. The Suns won, 128-122, at home on March 6, when Gerald Green scored a career high 41.
  • Green has four games this season in which he has scored 30-plus while playing 30 minutes or fewer. He is the first NBA player to do so in a season since Michael Jordan had five such games in 1990-91. He had 32 points in 29 minutes in the Suns’ big win Friday at Portland.

[h=2]JAZZ AT WARRIORS, 9 P.M. ET[/h] April 6, 2014 · 7:56PM
TV: League Pass

  • Golden State center Andrew Bogut will return after a four-game absence due to a contusion in the pelvic region. Power forward David Lee remains out with a strained right hamstring, and that diagnosis might change for the worse; Warriors coach Mark Jackson told reporters that an MRI exam administered on Thursday showed “nerve inflammation,” and there’s no guarantee the two-time All-Star will be back in time for the playoffs. “He’s frustrated right now, and rightfully so,” Jackson said. “We don’t know how long (he’ll be out), but he’s doing everything that he possibly can to get back on the floor for this basketball team. . . . It seemed like he’d be ready (by now), but he’s not.”
  • Draymond Green will open at the 4 for Golden State, his fourth straight start. He’s averaging 9.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in his last three games.
  • Jackson held court for 15 minutes, which might a season high, as media members grilled him on the departure of assistant coach Darren Erman. Erman, previously Golden State’s No. 2 assistant, was abruptly fired Saturday for what the Warriors termed a “violation of company policy.” Erman’s departure follows the demotion last week of fellow assistant Brian Scalabrine to D-League work after a falling out with Jackson. “I hurt for Darren Erman not being here, and my guys hurt,” Jackson said. “But the mission remains the mission, and the assignment remains the assignment. In spite of all the talk, and all the chatter, we’re going to go out and handle our business. We’re not going to get caught up in that.”
  • Utah coach Tyrone Corbin hinted at the possibility of lineup changes, although he wouldn’t reveal details. “We’re waiting to see who they start,” Corbin said. “We may tweak it a little bit. We’re not sure just yet.”
  • The Jazz come in off a victory Friday against New Orleans, but had lost 16 of 18 before that. Corbin still believes his team has a reason to play. “A lot of guys say, ‘You’re not playing for anything,’” Corbin said. “I always think when you’re playing a game, you’re playing to get better. And we have to make sure we keep honing in on that message.”
