Special MLK Capping and Discussion Thread

This is gonna take some time

Gotta get all my holiday e-cards out first

Real test of endurance after all day football today, then get through the day tomorrow and still be alive for the Cards game tomorrow night, in need of some elixir that lets the brain think clearly through all of it

I assume early game unders a thing? And I’m assuming they shading totals for this when I see char/nyk at 217? Or is that a normal split between Knicks and char? I know where Charlotte totals usually are, I’m just starting to pay attention to Knicks.
 
really like the way Barrett has been playing lately, he was awful vs char in only other meeting early in year as he tends to be. If he really coming into his own right now he should shine in this game, i think knicks going as he does to a extent, like the way they playing this month, took down a mavs team that playing pretty well then followed up handling a atl team they should have. Charlotte little roll just ended and they seem like a team who generally loses more than one once they lose. i feel like listening to some Jay Z and betting the knickerbockers -2.. (i know he owns nets or something but cmon, this is new york baby!).. ,
 
boston feels like a team i could see totally no show in a early start, no proof for that i just dunno bout these assholes, get the feeling the want to isnt always there with their stars, maybe im wrong, maybe im right, just the way i feel.. pels have been kinda game lately and i think they will take away C's normal offensive rebounding edge while exploiting them being lazy on their defensive glass (there that character issue again, that all cleaning up your class involves is heart and want to!), having q hard time finding doggies i like and for most part i have preferred being selective picking off dogs i like and few short favs.. gotta think a doggy or 2 barks, why not a ugly one who winning more than losing of late (even tho you cant tell by their record) and playing a early ass tip against a team i dont trust to show up and act like the better team? gotta like the +5.5 here or nothing me thinks.. i suppose if ya could convince me C's come to play my answer would them be tatum ov 2.5 treys and call it a day on this one, not lay the points. i dp think this good matchup for tatum to hit some and he been off a few games in a row, he generally dont go om too long of streaks before knocking a handful down, if it wasnt early i would for sure play that..
 
i rather my Cavs wernt off the west coast swing but damn i wanna play them!! bet your ass ill be wearing my bron cavs warmups to the casino in the morning!! i see last time these kids went west they came back home and got a win the 1st game back so that is encouraging, even more so was their play on that trip even if it wasnt against the top dogs and they caught utah in tough spot and a horrible time not to have frenchy in the paint!! that said i was still impressed, even with way they were able to come back and finish off the trip after falling way down to a bad okc team. Now they get the tin man Nets as their only star with heart is out until Feb, not good as they try to figure out Kyrie on road but not at home garbage!! these guys never play together, good luck with a hungry Cavs squad that will d you up! they have lost twice to nets already, obviously nets will look way different here (and not for better) while mobley didnt play in either game and allen only played in one of the 2, a rather close game.. Call me crazy but ill lay =3 with the team who playing good team ball and i think is hungry which should mean full blown effort vs the NETS!!! why is this not on national tv? what a gip, that the only thing i dont like as it should be, baby cavs deserve it.. damn right im PLAYING CAVS=3!

i also think this a good prop game.. garland ov 2.5 treys (cant believe i never realized this kid shooting them til lately!),. allen ov 10.5 boards. he should clean up vs this weak interior, he got 15 the game he played vs them, only convern being with mobley playing he might take some of those.. then the aforementioned Mobley over 14.5 points in his 1st crack at this "team". be warned i think im Ofer trying to hit a points prop! only tried 3 or 4 a month or 2 back and lost them all so i stopped that shit fast! no sense betting something that wasnt working when so much is!! lol.. so give me thoughts on this, but do it early cause ill be at casino at 0am sharp when they open!!

Done with rewetting drops, I'm stuck on the Systane liquid tears. Gets so f'n dry here I was going through a couple bottles of rewetting drops a week. No more.
 
i got about 30 more min in me tops so gonna try to get at a few more before i become useless and @KJ rips me for my mistakes!! next thing ya know @VirginiaCavs will be here fving me freaking grammatical lessons i desperately need but dont want!!

why dont they have 3 point prop up for lonzo ball, i was thinking that be the easy way to deal with the bulls/memphis as i dont really want bulls without lavine and wanna see how memphis responds to having their streak broke before laying 6 with them.,

Want an angle, I'd look at Memphis record historically on MLK. Them and Atlanta always get home games for obvious reasons but Memphis probably has more sentimental attached to it.
 
wuss, time is money and im running out of it,, it now or never and im in zone, or i was, it fading quick now, i either need a bump of something or a break.

most ppl say im shy, weird. lmao.. what funny is i have some crazy social anxiety quirks that almost crippling to me with certain things, but nobody believes it since when im out and about i talk to everyone and generally act a fool!! just gotta be comfortable, lol
 
why is atl playing like such ass this year and even more so lately? they were so fun to watch in playoffs last year even if they felt way over their heads. VC boy from uva Hunter even been back lately but hasnt helped, what gives?

that looks like a over but it aint till later on so ill be back and forth to casino by then!! ok, i give up for the night, you guys not being much help and i pretty much shot my load on those 3 i did.. im tired, losing focus, anything more would prob suck, see you jokers in the morning!!

I'd play it if I was on sleep, line is short for a reason

Knicks always get me when I bet them in early games. Well they get me most of the time when I bet them, but fading them early has been a go to.

Opened 2.5 and down to 1.5 at BOL, I want the full deuce before I wake up. Not sure how perception is about Charlotte, I never hear anyone talk about them.

I'll be expecting Jaylen to stroke it a little better tomorrow in Boston, gonna put him in a round robin or 3

I think I agree it might come down closer to pick, word on the street is ppl like Charlotte, 2 the black girl guards I talk to at casino always telling me to bet Melo cause they love him! (They know I bet player props more than sides, till lately). I hear lots of Knicks disdain, they were just mfin dogs to atl who been playing like total dog shit!! Peeps told me they couldn’t believe Knicks beat mavs and then faded Mavs ar Memphis because of it! Lol. I think little bit my perceived NBA feel comes from being a “motor mouth” at casino (as VC calls it!)!!

Agree with you on Tatum just don’t love start time. If it was later I would hit that treys over pretty good, he doesn’t often shoot poorly 3 games in a row from deep and Pels a soft matchup he should get good looks against. I’ll prob say fuck the start time and play it, just worry he kinda a guy who needs to hit them early, if so he will knock out all 3 in 1st, if not he be sitting on 2 for 8 in 4th and gotta hope it a close enough game he takes another!! -115 is real cheap here, I’d say if start time wasn’t or isn’t a factor this hits easily 60% in this game given matchup and fact he hasn’t made many in a couple games.
 
Knicks are starting to find it. RJ has been balling last 2 weeks, has led them in scoring 4 of last 6. Julius has woken up, and the rest of the starters have all hit double digits recently. The bench is always strong as starting to get healthy and they might get Kemba back for this one. I wouldn’t touch an under. Lot of scoring on both sides. Knicks get the W here imo as they’ve won 8 of last 11 and starting to find their groove at msg

Yes I think total short too. That why I was asking are these early starts known for that and that why it low? Im scared of Knicks now tho, I always feel better when their fans talking bad bout them! Once ya’ll start to buy in they lose!! Lol. Am I wrong?

For real I’m with ya tho. Like way they playing and like I said char tends to lose more than one once they lose from what I notice bout them.

Was gonna get back to ya but had to look, o2.5 -135 I think is pretty low, probably 40 cents low, likely because of the start time and I'll gladly take it. He'll be launching just like Tatum

Does coaching really matter in NBA? I know it does in certain respects but I think the majority of them happen before the games played. During game I’ve never thought it made a huge difference. Maybe I’m naive on this, I’d like to hear others opinions on the subject.

Beal still out huh? That line kinda stinks don’t it?? When I saw I def thought Philly would be laying way more!! Not a big “trap” guy but that had a smell to it so I kinda just jumped right past it. Prob kick myself for doing so. Lol
 
Ain’t these games on national tv? My score app isn’t showing many on channels other than regional fox sports or some crap!! I can stream on chrome book if I must but rather not!!

Plus I’m big fan of this Cavs team!! Loved Mobley in college and thought it was good idea to pair him with Allen while everyone else wants to Jack 50 treys a game!!

Nets are a freaking circus. Those 3 still havnt played 30 games together! KD the only one I think has real heart so I’m not high on kyrie/harden, harden has done a great job adjusting to playing w them so he deserves credit for that even tho I hate him/his game so much!! Lol,
