Looks like the other shoe dropped on this system. I didn't have a good feeling about the Stars at all last night and they indeed came out with a terrible effort. Too many injuries for them so all they want to do is make it to the All Star break. Not sure what I will do going forward regarding this system. My unit size was small ($25) but I ended up making two 100+ unit wagers in the last week. I don't feel good about that at all. The system is good 99% of the time it seems. However that 1% you may end up wagering the entire winnings of the system. I may still go forward but with a reduced goal in order to keep my unit size down cuz I'm calculating that in order to reach the end goal of the system (1 unit per series) I'll have to now win 4+ units a series. This will escalate quickly after game 2 or 3 of the series. For example, I may adjust my goal to win 40 units, or maybe just get back to even by the end of the season. Another option would be to try to place large units to win goals on a few series that I feel really good about in order to accelerate the long climb upwards. This can get dicey if you run into a losing series or a series that gets into the 3rd or 4th game when you have a large unit goal on the series. This strategy would be under the assumption that the system works 99% of the time. A third option is perhaps to abandon it all together. Thoughts charvik? Are you just going to go forward with the system as defined?
 
Yeah, I kind of agree with all you said in your post, and like I explained in the beginning of this thread, it was an experiment. I have 200u in my bankroll just for this system, so I will continue playing until that is down to 0, or until the end of season... It sucks to get a 160u loss on a series, but oh well...:hairout: :spank:

Well, I still have access to Pinny, since I haven't changed my account status to the US (used to live in Europe) and I am using a proxy in Europe to hit the site. There are plenty of other books available too though...:cheers:
 
Lucky you. Of course I have other books but none with hockey lines as good as Pinny. So I'm getting juiced a lot higher now.

Well, obviously this is not where I hoped to be come late January, but it has sure been interesting... I feel I have a good grasp of the up and down of the system and the potential traps. Considering how hot the Sabres and the Preds started out I should've passed those series. I think if I follow hot teams and avoid those series I should be able to make this very profitable for next season, no matter how this year ends up.

Without the 5 game road trip winning streak of the Yotes earlier this month, and by avoiding the hot teams, I would be up 158-ish units so far... Let's say for next year, like some have stated earlier in the tread, pass on the 5 hottest teams at the start of each series. I believe I should be able to find that info on covers (?) or possible statfox.

I have been following Mike's (RX) thread some, and I believe that is what he has done, with a slight variation...
