Hey Charvik,
I looked over you numbers and your system seems to be doing fine. My question is though, why do you report an increase in winning units even though you've had losing days? For instance, yesterday's plays should have brought you DOWN 4.09 units if I'm reading your wagering scheme right. Yet today, your record shows that your units have actually gone up? I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to review the first page so maybe I'm reading this system incorrectly. But I've noticed that this has happened in your other posted days and I'm just wondering if I'm reading this correctly. Cheers!

Pretty sure the only time the units go up is when a 'series' is won. Last night Calgary beat Minny therefore ending that Minny 'series' and adding a win to the column. The only time units would go down would be with a 'series' loss where a team would sweep its road trip. Its the basis of a chase where its the overall units that are in the record after each subseries is ended or won.

Thanks for the clarification fellas! I do remember reading your thread at the beginning of the year so I just wanted to make sure. Although the results look promising, don't you think potentially it could be very expensive to chase if a team pulls together a very good winning streak on the road?

Yes, I definitely think that could be the case. Actually I know so. I have been close to emptying the entire bankroll twice this year and it could happen easily. It's rough to bet 8K on a game to show a profit of 150 bucks on a series, that's for sure.
I will do some tweaking for next year, to try to avoid the hot teams (like Sabres and Preds early, Ducks in January etc). This year I have just not cared at all who is playing, just following the system blindly.

I guess it does make sense with forwards on the road team getting slower on the skates. I would be worried about defenders slacking off too, but on only 3 games, and not 8+, I guess it'll be ok. How many losing series have you had so far this season?
