Masters IN-Game...

37.5 to 1 tied with 18 holes left. Yikes. Gonna have to make birdies on the back tomorrow.

Can you live bet it?

Should be some crazy pin hunting tomorrow per usual and I expect that final group to feed well off each other

Interesting pairings if I'm seeing it right, final five tee times

Rose/Garcia
Fowler/Spieth
Moore/Hoffman
Scott/Schwartzel
Westwood/Pieters

All five of those look comfortable to me which sets up for a great watch on Sunday. But I didn't see it so well today so who knows...looks like fireworks though.

Those last two especially are a delight

No doubt

The beauty of it is that Moore/Hoffman might try to just play steady because they are within range, so could see them play great rounds, and the other two pairings are gonna need to make moves and have the firepower to just let it go and try. Appears to be a ton of drama in all of that to me.

Those last two especially are a delight

especially since they will be a positive influence on each other - Ryder Cup team mates, two experienced guys and two young guys.

I don't know what to think. It will be hard for Rose to replicate the back 9 again, my fingers have been burnt many times by Sergio, Rickie isn't a good front runner so he will need the leader to fall apart the last couple of holes, Spieth has put up some big scores on a couple of holes the last 2 years

If Moore or Hoffman post 68/69 they could well be in the hunt with the pressure on. Lots of scenarios.

Are those just compression?

That is a business about to explode imo

I wouldn't call them compression, however they are very tight. I see them as posture shirts as the black or grey stripes that start on the front of the shirt and extend through the shoulder blades and meet in the middle of the back have a pulling sensation on my shoulders. They basically force me to stand up taller and props my shoulders back, thus making my posture more upright and have a straighter back. I would say my understand of compression shirts would be very different from the way these shirts function. From a golfing perspective, the fact that my shoulders are pulled back and I am standing more upright, it gives me a straighter back and has my swing on a better plane. I can say that I golf in them every time and even those days that I wake up and my lower back is a bit stiff, wearing this type of shirt noticeable eases the stress/strain on my lower back. I hope this helps and answers your question.

Yep thanks I'll look into to it, had back issues from a hockey injury when I was younger and end of a round or long day when I'm tired and posture becomes an issue that's when it can flare up

I thought compression just because I know people who use those with leg issues or wherein first heard of them is a few friends who are nurses, on their feet all day, and use the stockings and they say at the end of the day no aches or pain since the switch

takeit and I have some compression socks that I use at times (mostly b/c I like the look of them) and also when we travel for circulation. My only issue with the inteliskin shirts is that the collar sucks - it develops a bacon neck quickly. Since they are so tight, they are a pain in the ass to put on and take off, especially if you just finish a round and are still sweating.

Amazing that in 2017 quality shirts still struggle with bacon neck, how has this not been rectified?

It is funny, you can always tell the tourists round here when they actually tuck for their rounds

Not that it's a bad thing, I do it occasionally too, but when the whole group does, tourists unless you're at a private course

Going out for a round with the wife on Tuesday(her first round of the year). I told her what she had to work on this year..

-Driving
-Iron play
-Hybrids
-Chipping
-Putting

That is just a start.

I still firmly believe great putting is learned through windmills and ramps. Once you can do that, the rest is cake

Now, that is a great picture.

1999 Masters.

Lets do this El Nino.

You play on bent grass there? That's by far my fave...Bermuda sucks to me, Poa Annua no good at all but it's common. I need the fast greens, true speeds...putt to the hole and not through it so slow greens really mess with me. Just can't adjust without cranking it 5 feet past and read wayyy more break than there really is.

Most resort courses around here are Poa Ana and not all that enjoyable to me, grain going every which way...not to mention in the Summer they water all day and it gets stupid with the added humidity. Tons of great courses are bent grass here, the fun is playing a course with some elevation and reading the greens, everything either breaks toward downtown or one of the peaks

I would have anyway but figure we should direct all sporting style your way first.

I rolled with a royal blue Nike golf shirt today and added jeans to the ensemble this evening. Throughout I wore a navy blue Nike Visor as well.

Other than a few Tigers Nike golf shirts that is my whole Nike collection nowadays.

Most of my wardrobe is blue/light blue and charcoal or darker...couple orange/red but mostly the latter. Pisces and I like the water colors I guess...makes it difficult to be a Cards/Dbacks/ISU/Suns fan. Need a fashion guru.

You can go through my closet since I was young and more than 50% is blueish or darker.

Last summer I lost a stupid drunk bar bet to one of my buddies. He is an OSU guy so I had to go out and but a Red under armour shirt and wear it for a full day off golf. I wanted to piss on his stupid buckeye head covers(sorry mrtake). I can say I have rarely worn red in my life. It doesn't look that great unless I am really tan(so it was okay last August).

Puma, Under Armour and Nike I roll with

The UA shorts are great

I got 4 under UA shirts my mom (lol) got me for my birthday that are all one size small. Thanks mom, I appreciate the respect and all on the size but I am still XL. That will get me up to a nice even 10 UA shirts I believe. I need some more of the shorts.

Somebody better shoot 65 tomorrow or I am going to be so mad Charley burnt my Over 65.5 prop on a windy ass Thursday.

Red doesn't have the Tiger effect on me, doesn't make me more aggressive (by the way this is a great casino tactic I studied in school, for another day) but it just annoys me. The blue is a calming influence I guess. And calm doesn't suck when you're playing 18.

Go figure my ex bought me an orange and red shirt for my birthday before we split...bitch.

Psychology of color and how it impacts gambling, now we can have a good time with that one.

Only one color matters Sunday...GREEN

Where is Alan when you need him?
I know he has some stats on where the winner on Sunday was grouped, how many groups back should I eliminate.

Leggo Sergio

Did a few 18 hole matchups to make the afternoon interesting hopefully

Mastuyama over figjamKjedsen over Hoffman
Scott over fowler
Sergio over rose
Kuchar over Moore

Which UA shorts
I've never been able to find nice ones

I need pockets too, which so many of these shorts avoid, if no pockets have to wear a hoody

I've gotten them all at Dick's, great for me for golf attire. Nice thing with UA is the stretch fit/dri fit...even long sleeves are comfortable for me here with UA, actually helps in the heat if that makes sense. Not like you can't push up the sleeves and the material keeps you cool.
