nice. I love guys who put in the work on their game!! Nothing more annoying than seeing so many these guys who rest on their talent and never round out their games. I mean I understand liking to chill but your job is playing basketball which is awesome! When I was 17-20ish with absolutely no prospects of ever playing any level I had a few summers where I went to gym 3-4 hours a day and worked on my hoops game just for fun! If I had that kind of size/skill I would get everything out of it cause I love to play!

No joke I used to shoot 1000 3s a day and like 200 FTs but I was also only 5’6 lol

Was at an Iowa basketball camp in high school and the great Rick Mount from Purdue said he would do 1000 jumpers and 200 FTs a day actually. Might have been 9th grade so I was probably around 5'6" as well at the time and he specifically wrangled up the PGs and imparted that if we wanted to play HS ball, it was imperative to not take a day off from that routine due to our size. Fortunately had a court at home.
 
Are any the clippers load managing tonight? I see line kinda moving down. Not sure it really matters against Houston.
 
Debating if I like 2nd quarter more than 1st half in this one? I worry bout clippers coming out flat on a Friday night.

So is this going to be a Raptors tank or are the 2 teams going to dogfight until every last drop of spittle has dried out?
 
Raptors look to be pushing for a playoff spot. Knicks have won 8 in a row but should have lost a couple of them and best win was at Mavs. Pelicans outplayed them in a early tip a week ago.

I can’t believe I did right thing playing clippers 2nd qrtr, lol. I just didn’t trust them to come out w energy and as I been saying the 2nd qrtr where teams been putting houston away. They barely covered that -2.5 but they did. Lost the 1st half tho.

tonight I don’t think it makes any difference, Nugs steamroll teams early on. -8.5 pretty big number so I will break into 2 bets. -8.5 1st half 2x and 2nd qrtr -3.5 1x. Going little more on this one since nugs one the better 1st half teams.

Man I rag on Giannis but he's so big and long. On a perfect team, you put him at the 5 and say play defense and get 20 points without us calling one play for you.

Zion is so unstoppable offensively and just figuring things out. If he can shoot uncontested 3s at 40% (big if) then I'd probably lean Zion since I think you can win with his style, while Giannis at times is cringe and a liability with his limitations offensively.

And how much Giannis forces it sometimes. Doubt either of them win a title being the #1 option

I had no idea. I don’t follow enough to even know who on rockets these days. I suppose that why their 2nd qrtrs usually dreadful, cause those guys sit down and the talent level falls off a cliff. I honestly havnt heard many ppl they have on the court tonight, and the ones I have not exactly ballers.
 
So our next chance is Tuesday but it the crappy T-wolves going to Houston. I’ll have to look at a little bit, will probably play either the half or 2nd qrtr but smaller. Then we can take it back to pound town on Thursday when the Bucks play at Houston!

wow. I feel dumb for not being on that after 5-6! but i don’t follow nba it was just dumb luck I happened to meet someone at casino who told me bout houston and the 1st half. Then I started looking into and figuring out 2nd qrtr also.

would it be wise to jump on NY at this point? I never know with streaks, when ya have waited too long or when ya should go ahead and play them?
 
I’d take Zion over freak. No disrespect to freak but we have seen how easy it is for teams to take him away in the playoffs. I don’t think that be the case with Zion, his offensive game is way more diverse, think he will become a pretty decent shooter also which freak never gonna be it seems.

I’d prob pass the phx game won’t get much value there I don’t think and it’ll prob be a close game

Maybe play the over vs wolves too?

I played over today 1H and Houston TT over to kinda hedge the 1H Denver play.....

didn’t know they sat 3 guys.....

I don’t really wanna start muddying it up w additional plays, just wanna keep it a nice and simple rockets fade. I’d been thrilled if it was just 1st half but the 2nd qrtr’s made a ton of sense, the logic sound behind it and numbers back it up.

this been a nice little cash grab for me out of nowhere on a sport I rarely bet other than playoffs! I’ll look and try to decide whether 1st half or 2nd qrtr appears better w wolves, either way probably don’t wanna risk more than 1x overall cause they suck also (it did cash against orl last week so figure worth putting little on it), then will get another 2-3x down on bucks Thursday.
