2024 Free Agency and Trades Discussion

Rams quietly now have 3 terrific interior linemen. Avila now moves to Center his college position. LT is needed. They have a good one that needs to be signed. Rams shaping up to use the 19th pick with a top CB. Pundits are saying Edge Rusher at 19 but Rams drafted 5 edge rushers last year and lack good CB’s.
Backup QB will come most likely from free agency. Rams need a QB that can win games if Stafford goes down. Thought it would be Minshew but guessed wrong. Doesn’t look like they’re in a hurry to resign Wentz.

33-1 slowly becoming tastier

Thinking Aaron Jones has a couple of games he wants to circle on his calendar.

Interesting that the Vikings sign Jones heading into his year 30, after previously cutting Dal Cook heading into year 28.

Assume money very different

Not quite Bengals level. What they do?

Bengals stuck up Mixon’s ass
Flubbed FA. Resetting QB means a 4 year window now and Wilkins was a must. Swift looks worse when he was the priority while they miss on all premium positions of need. I was ok with Swift bc they have like 4 picks, cant use one on a RB. Now the only path is signing 5-7 guys and hope pay off but unlikely they do it.

ED: Clowney, Usche need 1 of. Hunter will cost too much imo unless can be a 2 year deal.
OL: Trent Brown (poles wont bc he drafted Braxton jones). Meanwhile let all the Centers walk… huge mistake. This OL sucks and they did nothing.
WR: need 2 of ridley, hollywood, samuel, boyd. Literally need 2
Other: need another 3 tech… missed on wilkins and now just a pile of shit. Armstead perhaps.

It is getting to a point where the Bears need to trade the #1 to 3-6. Get Daniels or JJ, keep Fields, take Odunze-Bowers at 9 or small trade back and get a LT or ED.

Queen signs with the arch-rival.....3 years, $41 million for an inside linebacker, similar to current cap hits for Fred Warner/Roquan Smith, although they have longer more expensive deals. basically Fred Warner/Roquan Smith money. Seems a little high but they've been desperate to replace Shazier for years.

Looking forward to Aaron getting injured and watching captain checkdown Tyrod completing 23 passes for 112 yards totally earning his bloated 9 million dollar salary.

He deserved to get paid, no homer shit. He’s a beast

Tough to see any WRs wanting to go play in Chicago though. They’ll either get to play with Fields or a rookie. Just too many other very appealing spots to go to it would seem like.

Nice cheap depth FA LB add for the Bills

Nicholas Burrow

Morrow, 28, spent the 2023 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though he began the year on the practice squad, it wasn't long before he was promoted to the active roster and made a big impact. The St. Louis-native started 12 of the 15 games he appeared in while recording 95 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss and three sacks.

Before joining the Eagles, Morrow spent the 2022 season with the Chicago Bears, where he recorded a career-high 116 total tackles.
