Unbelievable that these are out now.

They always do this, and it's just so much speculation, that I'm always shocked.

It'll be interesting to see how much these move before Sept.

I know its early but I couldn't help myself. There is 2 plays I have my eyes set on. 1 is the Thursday night opener. -5 for the Steelers against the Titans is a joke imo. Its the Steelers and it will be a huge public bet and is inflated and the books know this. I lean the Titants +5 and do like the under a bit. Hopefully by September it may have moved to 37 for an under bet. All the other games lines are pretty damn close if not dead on what I have. There is a couple of games that meet the criteria for a play but it means laying a TD or more for a road chalk fave or taking some heavy chalk at home. You will never see Nawlins51 take that action.Might tease it though.We shall see.

My hope on that Steeler game is that it would get down somewhere near three.

Watch in preseason and see if teams can run on Tenny like they could without Hainesworth in the lineup. If that happens, it's going to be a long year for that team.

Also I think we can get a good sample on them defensively with this preseason schedule. And really offensively too.

if the season started now, i'd be all over minnesota....all day might be half way to 1000 yds by the time that game's over....be interesting to see how the new guys gel in the browns defense in terms of stopping the run...hope they start elam and give veikune a shot at least in the rotation

The Bengals are improved but before I'd say vastly, I'd take a look at the OL..

Major, major concern...the defense should keep them in games though...they were a sneaky 14th in D for the first year under Zimmer and added some talent..

Perhaps but they have also gotten rid of 2 under performers, possibly 3 from last seasons offensive line.

Andre Smith will be just fine as the starting right tackle in his rookie season. He's a mauling run blocker anyways and paired up with bobbie williams on the right side of the line, they should be just fine in creating holes for benson to run in. Center position is the only real question mark for me on this team. Luigis will only be a rookie and they have some other guys who may be able to take the spot from him but its still a large question mark on this line. Whitworth moves back to left guard where he is pretty good. Anthony collins will likely start at left tackle this upcoming season. He should be vastly improved from his rookie season where he didnt do as bad as one would expect from a 4th round pick starting at LT as a rookie. He might not be great yet but he appears to be solid and palmer believes in him.

The oline loses eric ghiaciuc who was flat out terrible. Even after being in the lineup for years he still struggled making the line calls and it was often relegated to bobbie williams the rg..

Levi jones hasnt been the same for almost 2 years. His knees are shot and his mobility has been gone for a few seasons..

Stacey Andrews was average at best last season. The guy consistently missed blocks and never really turned into the dominant RT the organization thought he would after his strong finish in 2007.

Offensivley this team if healthy is vastly improved over the offense they have put on the field in the last 2-3 seasons. Easily the best offense they have had since the 2005 campaign. WR core is deep and speed is abundant. Benson is a hard nose runner and they have added a legit pass threat at Tight End and added numerous fullbacks to the roster in an effort to regain what jeremi johnson was to this team in 2005/2006 when the running game actually worked.

Defensively there ranking from last season at 12 is a bit misleading. They were in the low 20's going into the final 3 games of the season where they then moved themselves up quite a bit playing against mediocre offenses and padded some late stats. However, the defense was imrpoved under zimmers first season and in year 2 that defense should begin thriving.

Zimmer brings in tank johnson who excelled in the 4-3 in chicago but struggled in the 3-4 in dallas. Johnson/Peko/Sims should provide a solid DT front for the bengals which they have lacked for quite a long time.

Pass rush still a major concern for this team even with the addition of michael johnson. But if the DT's can start occupying some blockers and some space, Johnson/Odom/Geathers might finally start to get to the QB but its a major question mark still.

Adding Mauluaga to the defense is huge, if not only for the attitude he is going to help bring to this team, something they have lacked since takeo spikes was here. Rivers/Jeanty/Jones/Mauluaga/Johnson should be a pretty solid group of linebackers

Secondary still a concern as well since joseph cannot seem to stay healthy and leon hall likes to get burnt deep.

Safeties they are extremely deep right now with the emergence of crocker in 2008, the signing of roy williams adds another hitter to this defense and if he returns to his form when he played under zimmer the bengals may have found themselves a late free agent steal.

Its one of the better week 1 bets barring injuries to cinci during summer/camp. New regime in denver and kyle orton struggling early in the season with the new offense is quite likely.
 
Looking at those Season win totals at first glance I really like the Colts over, they have an easy schedule this year and I think they can get to 12-13 wins easy.

Falcons over 8 too, I think that they are at least a 9-10 win team, worse I see that is a push.

And then Broncos under and Raiders over.

Still have one of the best coaches, one of the best O-lines and some of the best running backs. I'm not going to say they win 13. I'm expecting 10 or 11. I just see no reason to believe the Titans take a big step in the wrong direction like you seem to think. Teams aren't just going to magically run for big yardage. Titans were and still are pretty deep on the Dline.
 
some of the best running backs? i see one on that roster and he may the best in the nfl, too.
