The decision to sit Shaq seems odd to everyone with Minny on deck including myself. Then you think about it and Melo is already out , Billups shows up on the injury report as probable but undisclosed illness which assuming the flu or bad cold seems sensible considering the frigid weather well everywhere , JR Smith I do expect a rebound game but he still was 1-14 last game and shooters are streaky , which leaves kenyon Martin and Nene two very solid players and a bench of Kleiza , Chris Andersen and Anthony Carter ...which Nash , Richardson , Amare plus Grant Hill , Barbosa , Barnes just stillsomany options for PHO to beat you . Granted rebounding is now an issue as they allowed 18 offensive boards vs ATL with the Big Guy ...anyway point is Suns have so much depth to overcome this absence they played well @ LAL without Nash and Shaq. They are a better team theyn they were 6 weeks ago. Yes, the Pacer game was recent but they didnt play well at all and still lost just by 3 points ....so what I am saying is maybe Porter's decision isnt so crazy after all ...:cheers:

Happened to pull up Shaq's game log and recalled some of the games he missed . Thought they had started slow in them and then just clicked on the boxscores.....

@OKC (-10) won by 1 pt assume line was -3
@NOH (+9) lost by 14 assume line was +2.5
@LAL (+13.5) lost by 4 assume line was +4 maybe +3.5 (so PUSH or Loss)
vs ORL (-2) lost by 5 assume line was -0.5
vs Indiana (-9.5) lost by 7 assume line was -2.5 maybe -3

No, sorry, maybe I didn't explain myself right. U wrote in your update Denver was 5-0 ats 1st q last 5 . Was wondering if u knew that out of your head or u checked on some site. I keep trying to find a site that shows 1st quarters, 1st halves ats stats and i find none.

What I meant actually was that PHO was 0-5 ATS w/o Shaq in the 1st Quarter ...:cheers:
 
Ah, lol sorry. I'm too tired, got it completely wrong. I thought what u meant was Denver covered the last 5 1stq's and they are due to loose one. Btw i looked now at Denver's last games and they covered last 6 before this game if i'm correct.
 
Amare's 3rd foul sucked and Suns went south after that . No defense really either way and alot FT's. Would lean over 107 and think I hedging some on the Suns play with DEN -4....:cheers:

-Not really a hedge because the game total is essentially 225 now but just trying to get out of the rest of my UNDER 219 play from before Shaq's absence was announced....

Will Hedge the game at -4 hopefully -3.5 for 80 or 120 just need to middle some IMO as Suns lost some momentum going into half and all the SUNS game minus Shaq seems to be close ones..finalize it soon:cheers:

 
yeah both teams have alot of fouls. I lean over. I still like the Suns in the 3rd Qtr, debating 2nd half play on them. I just hope Amare does not pick up a quick foul in the 3rd. The totals play is much stronger though
 
on the over also i got +104 at 107.5 at pinny--

not sure why they were giving plus money on this over 2nd half at 107.5
 
should be a track meet again--

no oneal means lots of running--

too many small players that mean more scoring,

lots of fouls also first half--

POrter said at halftime to the team, get out and run-- that is good for us
