ScopeY
Pretty much a regular
TEN/LAR
TEN DVOA Matchup is good vs RB D, and bad vs P D.
LAR DVOA Matchup is great vs RB D, and meh vs P D.
Pace of play is 5th fastest. O/U is highest of the week.
Tanneill is T3rd for worst ASR matchup, Stafford is 3rd best.
Henderson has the 4th best ALY push. Peterson? has the 9th worst.
Let us start with what we know --- the rams.
The last 2 weeks, and 2 other times this year really, Van Jefferson has seen an AMPLE amount of snaps relative to kupp/woods. 2 Weeks ago it was 97/97/94, and last week 87/87/84.... the rams trust him enough to do a bunch of 3WR sets. That's fantastic. We know Kupp is an alpha, and he is seeing 11+ targets a game.. if you can fit him in, do it. Woods is where I may step back and take the cheaper jefferson. He's matched or been 1 away from woods targets 5 out of 9 weeks and has the highest aDOT by a mile. Jefferson/Kupp/Woods are 14.12/9.41/8.20. If you entering a lineup, you want a high ceiling, and he has it.
I think higbee can be ignored, he really is just a TD dependent option and if he doesn't get it early, I don't see him getting it late. Pass.
Henderson has been really great, and I feel like most just think of this team as more pass focused. While that is true, henderson is a true workhorse. In competitive games he sees 80-90% of snaps, and it's high value snaps. The rams OLINE seems to ALWAYS have a positive matchup, teams can't sell out/help to stop it (with the receivers/qb combo) and he just chugs along. He could be good for 15-20 carries, and 3-5 targets. 18-25 possible touches in this offense is always great. Now if you think this can be a blowout (maybe) I can see the arguement in playing michel if mass entering, but I won't be going crazy.
Stafford (like most QBs) has the best floor, and probably ceiling, idk if I'd captain him, but a flex option no doubt.
AJ Brown is a great option, he's the most trusted, and best produccer on this team for tannehill, consistently. It's hard to have him in those guys above though, so you may need to make a stand (or maybe captain jefferson ahem). Julio could definitely be a leverage off brown, and I wouldn't hate it. Not sure how I'm going to build it it. Rogers should be the slot man, but it could be westbrook/johnson too, what a crapshoot dart throw.
I don't want peterson, he may be the goaline guy? Idk, I want to see it to believe it first... apparently he's been a savage at practice, idk. The game script leans me like mcnichols a lot more, he should be more trusted/familiar, and ATLEAST the 3rd down back. He's shown once what he can do coming out of the backfield with a double digit target game.
Swaim over firkser in that department. He has seen more snaps all year, and had 5 targets last week.
