DFS/Props Week 8 2024 Discussion

DK still bull shitting eith a rec prop for Tracy, if you can get that over 9.5 grab it it cash. So these the 2 I’m on.

Pickens ov 61.5 rec
Over 80 +190
Over 100 +400
Td +155

Warren ov 13.5 rec
Over 25 rec +225

We see if I’m right on this but long as Russ has the locker room I think he makes a star of Pickens cause Pickens was built to go get those moon bombs Russ throws! My only concern here is giants do have a good pass rush so they gonna need to give Russ time but I’d think they can max protect and set up some shots, Pickens taking at least 1 50+!!!

Speaking of giants pass rush a good way to negate that is to get it out to the backs, I like Warren, I think he could easily hit the 25 on 2 catches and he had a ton of targets from Russ last week, let’s see if that keeps up!

If I could get Tracy over 9.5 rec I will be betting that and I’m good with an alt number on him also. I damn near took singletary over 7.5 but felt like I was being suckered cause Tracy the back you want catching passes out that giants backfield imo.

Giants have a bad P/RB matchup.
Steelers have a meh P/RB matchup.
Jones has a meh pressure rate situation, and meh pass potential. Singletary~ has a bad rush potential.
Wilson has a meh pressure rate situation (grain of salt).
Pace of play is 14th (meh).

- Tracy played 67% of snaps to Singletarys 21%. I know last week was a blowout for the Giants, and Singletary was just returning from injury, but Tracy still got the first touches of the first 2 drives when the game was still tied 0-0, do I think it'll be closer in snaps? Of course, but singletary is 8.4K, Tracy is 4.4K, it's a no brainer imo but I think Singletary is unplayable. This WR group is really just 3, don't get cute with Hyatt. It's Slayton/W. Robinson/Nabers. Nabers has a sick target/aDOT combo that he can be considered, even for capt. 37%/10.75 are overall WR1 possibility metrics. I hate Wandales 4 aDOT, but his target share of 29% makes him serviceable in PPR formats. I do like that Slayton is the cheapest, and has the biggest aDOT of 13.4, making him interesting as a HR hitter target. If you want to punt further, T. Johnson plays like 90% of snaps, do not go to bellinger.

Pickens had sick numbers with Fields, 29% target share/12.45 aDOT. It's a small sample size of course, but last week Pickens had a huge 33.33%/16.9 line, I just got done saying Nabers metrics could make him overall WR1 material, well these can too, and if I'm choosing, go with the one that'll have less ownership (Pickens imo). The 4 other non RB pass catchers had 11 to 15% of targets, none were over a 7.5 aDOT. Muth feels a bit to expensive for my liking. You can take a shot with Austin, but I kind of like Van Jefferson at 4K, he had only 3 targets, but 2 were RZ targets (converting 1 for a TD), a guy that cheap you click because of injury opportunity/mispricing, or TD hunting/equity, and he has it imo --- he also played the 2nd most snaps among WRs (behind pickens of course). D. Washington is a stretch, I'd rather just go to T. Johnson at that point. Harris/Warren were in there closest 50/50 split of the season last week, Harris had 22 opps (1 target), Warren 15 opps (3 targets), I guess DK Warren (1 ppr), FD Harris (0.5 ppr), helps that Warren is 2K cheaper, but I think I'll more likely play him in scenarios/lineups where I see a neutral to positive pass script.

I think Tracy is slowly but surely taking over the top backfield spot, we seen enough of singletary over the years we know what he is, pretty meh. Tracy has some special qualities and he played lot of wr in college which gives a good offensive coach another different kind of weapon on a team in need of them. So annoyed DK was posting only a rush prop for him. Over 9.5 rec I’d be all over, I actually even like his over 26.5 rushing a bit.

He’s 13.5 at my local book. You still like it?

I think DK throwing that singletary line of 7.5 out there that looks like cake while holding back Tracy was a total tell, I could be wrong and I did get burnt one game where grey got the pass catching work but from what I can tell Tracy the most talented pass catcher out the backfield. Just a matter of getting a chance and w the likelihood Steelers pass rush on jones quick I’d think he be an important piece.

Tracy cashed rush yards. I’ll feel like shit he don’t get another pass and cash rec for anyone who played. They should be throwing him ball more

How put score Defense? Now they never gonna take a deep shot to Pickens. Fucj j hate these fucks. He should get 3-4 deep throws a game

Terrible

They reversed the initial payout on the over. I didn't even see the play so just gonna assume we got jobbed lol

They even took back my over 13.5 cash. What a bunch of fucking horse shit. Thst cost me 450 or some shit. How they do that? I’ve never had them payout then re-***. Guess I gotta find a fucjing replay and see proof that was backwards cause I’m bout to start a fucking fight. Cock sucking scumbag nfl with stock in the books.

It still says he has 2 catches. One went for 9 then the screen for 18 or whatever. This is stupid
Last play of 1st half was a 4 yd reception

He wasn't targeted in the 2h and the 18 yarder was called a run so assume it was lateral. Watch them change the ruling later.

Guess this answers my question.

I don't understand paying out during a game on a prop.

I get that they want that money being reinvested (for those with small balances).

Just odd.

Question.

Do they take the money back if he were to suffer a huge negative play?

I dunno not all the usual they pay a prop like that so fast in game cause obviously for the alt number he coulda easily lost a few yards. Never had it come up. Im trying like fucking hell to get a highlight that play but i suck, i gotta see this replay so i can pick a fight

I just want to see play. I was kinda watching and damn sure looked like forward pass that I can recall

Yes especially wken the alt number was so close. Usually I gotta wait till longer than most for props to pay out but they paid that shit right away then snatch back a hour later. I wish someone smarter than me could pull a clip

At first, I would have said legit complaint.

I think the reasoning is the pass was slightly behind from Russ.

Edit: I still think it's parallel at worst though as I keep looking .

More I look I say it damn near directly across, I don’t even know wtf the rule is if it thrown and caught at same spot? Either way DK will fucking at least refund my bet or I’ll be done w them. Got me fucked up playing take backs. You pay the bet it done. They ain’t ever graded me a loss and then paid me later.

Had I been at book what they done after I cashed ticket? Those ppl skate while we get fucked? Don’t pay it if you ain’t sure, I’ve had to wait hours for prop bets, that fine I rather that and they get right, you ain’t paying me and taking back, if I woulda been betting at Casino would they have come over and asked for money back? Someone woulda got punched in the mouth before I went to jail!

Usually enough people whine on SM to get these changed.

This isn't on the book, it's on the NFL.

NFL scoring made the call there.
