Aside from failing to win and cover last week against Kent, Buffalo has been money for me this season. In my opinion, this game is a little inflated due to Buffalo's loss last week against the Golden Flashes. Now that I look back at the game, I'm really not all that surprised that Buffalo came out a little flat, after consecutive weeks of thrilling, overtime wins. Buffalo really had little to play for, as they had the MAC East title locked up. While I do believe Ball State will win this game, I think it will be close, and the final score should be similar to Ball State's game against Central Michigan. Hopefully, Willy and Starks will do enough to keep up with Davis and the Cards.

Like the plays this week. What are your thoughts on the ville? I know it is a lot of points, but I was actually licking my chops to put a large play on Rutgers. Two teams going in opposite directions and I think Rutgers takes advantage and puts a hurting on the ville this week.

This game is do or die for the Cards. Rutgers has more than likely secured a bowl game at this point, whereas Louisville MUST win this game to finish 6-6 to even have a chance.

With the exception of their disastrous game against PITT, Louisville has been competitive in their recent losses. And I'm not shocked Louisville has lost their last three, considering they've played the three best teams in the Big East during that stretch (PITT, CINCI, and WVU).

Rutgers has improved as the year has progressed, but it's hard not to see Louisville coming out fired up for this game. Not to mention, Louisville's strengths are their Rush Offense & Rush Defense. They should do enough to keep the game within 10 points.

Just my opinion of course. GL bud!

Thanks Aztec. Good thoughts as always. Rut against that same competition recently (Pitt, Cincy and WVU) has been much more impressive to me (pounding Pitt and losing close games at WVU and at Cincy), and don't forget the other common opponent within the last few weeks . . . .Syracuse. The motivation may be there to get that 6th win, but Louisville will not get a bowl bid even if they are eligible and the players know that. The week off probably helps them more than Rutgers, but I see the game going similar to the Rut/Syr game where Louisville may compete early but eventually get blown out like Rutger's last 4 opponents. Just played Alabama +9.5 and Cincy -7 - don't think the lines will get any better for me by Saturday.

Completely agree. If anything, the Bama line should continue to drop, and the Cincy line should only bounce back up.

Too bad CFB is nearly done; I've had fun with it this year and it's really the only sport I play on (not a hoops fan.)

bull - Amen to that man! I couldn't agree more with ya. I'm definitely not one to toot my own horn, but last night's win was so sweet! Thanks again bud! BTW, the refs totally screwed me over on my Appy St 1st Half bet. Richmond would've had a 3rd and long just past midfield, but the refs gave them a 45 yard completion down to the 12 yardline. The receiver didn't even get one foot inbounds, and even took one step out of bounds before making the catch, and both refs gave it to them. Richmond scored on their next play, and Appy State's only up 7-6 at the Half. Oh well, I guess I had that coming after some of the bad calls that went my way last night.
