Please everyone share what you know about your teams plans in terms of starters playing etc.

9ers defense been dominating. Could be best unit in league now that the secondary is a plus vs liability. If no Rodgers I lean under. Sudfield won’t be leading many scoring drives with second and third unit players.
 
Bet overs if you hate money. A discussion thread for preseason is incredible.

Who all has legit qb battles going on? I tend to like those teams in the preseason, Steelers only one I can think of off the top my head.

Seems they have figured out rams have no interest in preseason and basically running clock out from the jump! Freaking 30 total? Lol. Who all the guys now coaching from the Mcvey tree? Gotta assume those guys will treat preseason similarly!

Of course ravens ml every game! Lol
 
Fields was a beast scrambling around in the pre season before the Bills basically ended his career with a million crushing blows.

He should be fresh to to Bears out to a quick lead though here
 
The 3 week format throws me off - which of these 3 weeks would you argue is the new “week 3 of the 4”. Is it week 3 still since there’s 2 weeks left after that?

Feel like week 1 is still week 1, but week 2 could call for more mins given that it’s one of the last 2!

I want to say starters played more in week 2 last year but my memory sucks so don’t hold me to it! Feel like week 3 in many cases got treated like week 4 used to., every year I go into this so not confident but end up doing better in preseason then the 1st month, lol.

Funny you say that. Danny something, host of Rush Hour, on VSIN was saying he likes that QB competition angle for overs & felt both Seattle & Pitt QBs have something to prove. He loved the over for that reason.

I took the over in the carolina washington matchup for much the same reason. Good QB roster for both teams

I took 1H ML in that one just now. From all reports, New Englands offense looks to be a mess and Mac Jones won't play at all.

I never used it for overs really, mostly cause I never been great at finding overs in nfl anytime, in preseason not sure I could convince myself to play one! Lol. Not sure I wanna back Seahawks in preseason even w a qb battle cause they all suck! I dunno if we can actually trust Pete to let them throw a bunch in preseason even? That prob would lead to points, most likely for the other team!! I can def understand the case for seattle/Pitt over but dunno I can talk myself into actually playing? I def have more faith in Steelers 3 qbs than I do Seattle’s but again little skittish bout actually laying more than a fg, I much prefer getting points in preseason.

I’m super interested in seeing Willis play for titans, I’d think him running around vs 3rd teamers and guys who gonna get cut could make for some scoring!
 
Panthers should have edge later into games assuming they let darnold and baker battle in preseason games, then they have Corral coming In the 4th who could for sure make plays and you would think panthers want to see him so continue running real offense!
 
as much id love to fade the pats I’m not super pumped on giants even if they play starters for a half! Lol. Think under probably makes more sense in that game. I dunno who behind Jones but if you behind Daniel Jones you can’t be very good!! I am a bit intrigued by that kid Zappe pats have on roster from wku, he can fling it around, but will pats let him?
 
Hoyer is capable of picking apart base zone coverages. Wish I knew how much or little he was going to play
 
So Willis is starting? I don’t expect him to look good at all vs 1st and 2nd string defense. I was thinking he could make a splash in 4th qrtr! Lol
 
taking a shot with Den over Dallas. Risky considering we dont know how Hackett is going to approach the preseason, but Den was 3-0 last preseason giving up only 21 points (2nd best to Balts 20) and Dallas was 0-4 last preseason giving up 89 pts (2nd worst to Phil’s 90).

Dallas feels like a very top end team. I agree with this.

Why you think it be all soft coverages? I saw ton of man bump and run last night and both teams showed little something on d, wasn’t just straight vanilla imo. Every time pats brought pressure Jones looked like the loser he is. On Hoyer’s good drive he beat mostly tight man.

Soft wrong word. Predictable/base. Bump and run with third stringers never a good thing.

He will def get sacked too much and make some mistakes but as we saw last night he can absolutely make plays. Tannehill gives them all the downside without much the upside, I’d think they be tired of him, their ceiling is just making playoffs long as he the starter.

Will def look to be on them if we can get him playing a full second half vs backups backups
 
Anyone know why the big line move to KC? Rebuilding team vs established team so felt that Chi was the play but I wasn't going to lay 3.5. Now that it's a pick though I'm even more hesitant.
 
Just read through a Cards recap and was way off. That said I've never heard of anyone other than McSorely and Prater in the Box score. And Prater missed 2 XPs? Sounds like the kicking competition will be the most exciting part of the preseason here!

So much “practice” for these secondary coaches putting subpar CBs on an island in press coverage to see who can hang vs who can’t. Resulting in huge plays we haven’t seen much of in preseasons. 9ers game last night alone had a few 50+ yard titties
