J Lannan - L Listed B Beachy - R Listed
Risking 500 To Win 296
it appears Beachy is beginning to get settled after returning from TJ and it looks to me that he is improving each inning he pitches. he allowed three hits in eight innings of Friday's 5-0 win over Miami after posting a 9.00 ERA through his first two outings. He picked up his first victory since pitching a five-hit shutout against the Marlins on May 17, 2012. The Braves have averaged 5.7 runs and batted .319 with runners in scoring position over their last 17 games.
Lannan (3-5, 4.81) (1-2, 16.1 IP, 1.78 WHIP, 7.16 ERA) opposed Beachy earlier this month, giving up four runs - two earned - in 4 1-3 innings. That outing is part of his current four-start stretch in which he's 1-2 with a 7.52 ERA. he allowed a career worst-tying eight runs in five innings of Friday's 9-2 loss to Washington.

8/14/2013 7:05 PM MLB Baseball 955 San Francisco Giants/Washington Nationals* Over 6 -175
T Lincecum - R Listed J Zimmermann - R Listed
Risking 87 To Win 50

Since the break Zimmerman,1-3, 5.76 in his last five starts, has been terrible, except the one game against the same Brewers....but Lincecum is is warming a bit @1-1, 1.23 in his last three starts. But, Lincecum on the road has been bad but I think he will have a good game tonite and he had better because the Giants pen on the road is also bad.

  2. 8/14/2013 8:15 PM MLB Baseball 959 Pittsburgh Pirates/St. Louis Cardinals* Over 6 -160
    F Liriano - L Listed S Miller - R Listed
    Risking 80 To Win 50

Liriano got hit hard by the Rocks and I expected a little more value here the Cardinals team is now 12-18 against left handed starters. Miller is certainly not someone I'd want to unload on after he had to leave the last game in the first inning. Cardinals pen cannot be trusted, but the Pirates w/o Grilli are simply struggling back there, too. Liriano beat the Cardinal badly about a month ago, and what surprised me is that that was the first time most Cardinals had seen him. hell, who know but I will back my Pirates here and hope they snap out of their funk

  1. 8/14/2013 10:10 PM MLB Baseball 961 New York Mets* +1½ -135 vs Los Angeles Dodgers

  2. 8/14/2013 10:10 PM MLB Baseball 961 New York Mets/Los Angeles Dodgers* Under 7½ -135
    D Gee - R Listed C Capuano - L Listed
    Risking 67 To Win 50

Gee is 2-1, 1.78 in his last five starts while Capuano is 1-0, 3.12 in his last three home starts. But Capuano either gives up five runs or no runs and he doesn't ever seem to pitch late into the game. Both pen are good of late so I'll go Under here and take a chance that both teams show up to play.Under is 13-4-1 in last eighteen Dodger games.

  1. 8/14/2013 2:10 PM MLB Baseball 976 Kansas City Royals* -1 -168 vs Miami Marlins

  2. 8/14/2013 2:10 PM MLB Baseball 975 Miami Marlins/Kansas City Royals* Under 7½ -130
    J Turner - R Listed E Santana - R Listed
    Risking 65 To Win 50

here i go playing against Miami again but I sure as hell cant back Turner on the rd where he is 0-7 in 11 career road starts. He does have a respectable 3.71 ERA in those games but hasn't been very good in losing the last four, giving up 13 runs and 23 hits in 22 innings.

blood gl my bro it's to late but I like cle today. it's time they win a few in a row

FWIW, I lean on/toward Cleveland today.

Trey,
WhileDe La Rosa's has looked decent of late,he allowed 33 baserunners in 14 innings over his last three outings and hasn't made it more than six innings in nine straight starts.Though his record doesn't show it, De La Rosa's home outings versus San Diego (54-65) have generally been a disaster. He has a 7.12 ERA in his past seven starts against the Padres in Denver - allowing five homers in his past 22 1-3 innings - but is 3-1 thanks to a 9.57 run-support average. San Diego's Cashner (8-6, 3.87), on the other hand, has seemingly figured out his issues with the long ball. The right-hander has allowed two home runs over his last 11 starts after giving up seven over his first eight. But he has been wild at time and he has surrendered 17 walks over his last six starts, including four his last time out. He gave up five runs - three earned - in five innings of a 7-2 loss at Cincinnati on Friday.Cashner has posted a 3.75 ERA without allowing a home run in two starts against Colorado this season after allowing four over his first 8 2-3 innings against the Rockies (56-65).The Padres broke out of a lengthy offensive tailspin on Tuesday. After scoring 13 runs and hitting .196 while losing five of their previous six games, they mustered seven runs and 12 hits in rallying back from a 4-1 first-inning deficit. I give the Rocks a decent chance here as a mid dog.
