, 29, is making his fifth start of the spring.....Sheets is entering his eighth season in the
Major Leagues, all with the Brewers…..he is scheduled to make the sixth Opening Day start of his career on
Monday at Wrigley Field.....Sheets went 12-5 with 3.82 ERA in 24 starts last season…..the team went 15-9
in his starts…..he posted a career-high for wins (also 12 in 2004), tying Dave Bush and Jeff Suppan for the
team lead…..was selected to his third All-Star Game…..tossed a career-high 22.0 consecutive scoreless
innings from 5/29-6/14, the longest streak by a Brewer last season.....Sheets was on the 15-day disabled list
from 7/16-8/28 with a partially torn tissue surrounding the tendon of the right middle finger.....bio can be found
