This is simple

Rank your teams 1-8 in each conference(for end of season..not now)

Then go thru the playoff matchups and get your champion.

*Please remember to rank 1-3 as division winners*

Be back with mine. Brew..be objective son ;)

Let me preface. Dwight Howard will have a huge year but they don't have enough around him. NY if they gel could make some noise in 6-8 spots.

1. Chicago
2. Toronto
3. Detroit
4. Washington
5. Cleveland
6. Boston
7. New jersey
8. Miami

Chicago-Cleveland
New jersey-Detroit

Detroit-Chicago

Detroit

Not a homer opinion. This is just really starting to feel like one of those years.

let me preface. I like Kobe a lot..too many ditractions though. GSW is right on bubble. Again Houston has a tough first round.

Just a gut feel. If SA beats HOU..just replace them..same path. I just feel SA is ripe to not go far this year...its their pattern anyway.

SF, orlando would have to be your 4 seed cuz they win division. same goes for denver.

Not many predictions here but would expect Atlanta to make the playoffs and think estimates on Nets, Washington and Cleveland might be optimistic.

det was 1, clev 2 last year. did they change the format again this offseason?

They didn't change it, as far as I know, brewer is correct. Top four seeds in each conference are the three division winners plus whoever has the best record but didn't win their division.

I never remember how the seedings work, so coming out of the east I will go with my team, the bulls

West:
Phoenix
Dallas
San Antonio
Utah
Houston
Denver
Golden State
New Orleans

Coming out of the West, the spurs. I don't know how long they can keep it up, but until someone beats them, I don't see how you can pick anyone else.

I'm going to predict an upset of Bulls over Spurs. Probably just wishful thinking though.

Thought I would take another look at the West.
Spurs
Houston
Suns
Dallas
Lakers
in no particular order will make the playoffs.
Popular favorites Denver, Utah, New Orleans, Golden State are actually mostly just popular. Kings, Grizz, and Blazers while unpopular have roughly equal talent with reasonable coaching. Grizz may be a year young but if Blazers health allows them then both they and Kings may well be in the mix.

dont understand why everyone loves the bulls so much. i honestly believe they're overrated and everyone is expecting too much out of them. they have no inside presence and they live and die on their jump shots. just my 2 cents.

funny looking back on these predictions from just two months ago, what a mess mine is.
