I can understand faux outrage over secretly spying on opponents' practices, but I refuse to give a shit about the air pressure of footballs. Patriots would have won that game with croquet balls.

Johnson told Stroud he shelled out $7,500 to ensure "the balls were scuffed and ready" when the title game kicked off in San Diego.
"I paid some guys off to get the balls right," Johnson now admits. "I went and got all 100 footballs, and they took care of all of them."

This is actually not true. Of everything that came out of that "scandal," this wasn't true, and there was no tape of said practice. Don't listen to bitter ass Marshal Faulk...of the tapes that were handed over to the NFL, there was NOT one of a Rams' walkthrough. It's just not true.

Keep in mind, there's nothing else in the NFL to talk about. That game was terrible and we're talked out for the moment on Green Bay somehow losing. Loose mock drafts, Super Bowl's two weeks away, freeze on hiring SB coordinators. You have soft footballs and Manziel in Aspen, that's it. Pro Bowl's coming up though.

At a bare minimum Brady and Bellichick both need to be suspended for the Super Bowl in addition to ALL of next season as well as lose multiple draft picks. Enough is enough. Time to send these cheating fucks a real message.

Question: Why the fukk to the teams play with a seperate pool of game balls? Seems ridiculous.....shouldn't there simply be a pool of game balls that are traded in and out as needed?
Assuming that the Patriots did do "something" to change the pressure of the game-balls, is there even a good response from the NFL? A suspension/loss of draft picks "next" year doesn't send the right message, and there is no way that they would actually suspend Belicheck for the SB, right?
Goodall probably making sure everybody in the NFL office is focused on SuperBowl issues so there is at least some deniability as to the NFL's knowledge of the actual facts here.............What do you do Roger????

After the officials found that the majority of the balls used in the first half were below the acceptable PSI as mandated by the NFL, the backup balls were brought in. According to the source, the backup balls were tested and found to be at the correct levels.
