The Tour Championship Discussion

Could be 2 offerings from books....one to win the Fedex Cup and one to win just this tournament as guys will be starting 2-10 shots back of DJ.

There’s probably some value in the guys that are starting at -4 and -3.. but I just don’t know that I’m even interested. With the way DJ is playing, and Rahm, it seems pretty likely one of them wins, and they’re like 3-1. Might just pass on the whole week and wait for football.

Went with Webb.
DJ has to be gassed doesn't he?
Rahm has to have a bit of a letdown.

Webb has to be the freshest mentally after avoiding last week's carnage

Put a little saver on JT cause he will be looking to avenge last year.

I thought the tour changed it so that the winner of the tournament wins the cup too. No more FedEx points for winning

Rory went into East Lake last year at -5, runner up Xander started at -4. JT started at -10, finished 3rd. Cantlay started at -8, finished T-21. DJ finished in last place after starting at -4. I think for winner purposes, anything worse than -4 starting position will be a stretch, though Rory is intriguing. He won by 4 strokes last year. I kind of like Webb and Berger. Doesn't Berger play much better on Bermuda greens?

Yeah, without looking I think rory won by 4 strokes after being 5 back initially or something.

I like the mid range guys like xander/hatton, and honestly matsuyama again

Yes on Berger

Sticking with the Leishman fade... juice is a bit high but I see no reason to think he will turn things around in a week. That being said, it’s sports betting anything is possible.

Mackenzie Hughes -130 and Cam Smith -145 vs Leishman

Both bets are for one unit each

If Rory's wife goes into labor and WDs, it's graded as a loss right? No way I touch Rory here. Forgot about all that when i posted earlier

That was my point. No idea how Rory is 100% focused here. I don't know the exact timelines, but you can not wager on him.

I wouldn't take anyone under Xander at -3 to win.....and thats really stretching it.

I do like JT. Webb may have some value. And I really like Berger on almost any course.

DJ is so hot right now that it's tough to put much money on any win bets, But, I side with Rahm over him.

I'm adding this play

Ryan Palmer (+130) over Abraham Ancer

At age 43, Palmer is the oldest player in this week's field by seven years. Ancer, meanwhile, is making his tournament debut. But there's reason to side with the wily vet at an appetizing price in this matchup, as Palmer finished seventh in his most recent East Lake appearance (2014) while posting all four rounds in the 60s. He also posted a runner-up finish at the Memorial and a T-15 result at the WGC event in Memphis, both against loaded fields. Ancer finished second at Harbour Town but hasn't done much since, finishing outside the top 30 in his last three starts including the PGA and both playoff events. Palmer's balky putter can sometimes be an issue, but in this case his mix of course knowledge and recent form is good enough to side with an underdog with a few gray hairs.

I'd have English for that price in any field

Was hard for me to get into this one much. No full tourney or R1 plays for me. Did lean DJ -125 over Rahm and Griffin +100 over Na

Went back to the well with English just an insane odds. Hes getting double the money that Berger would bring and both at the same spot.

I mean, I might as well keep burning my money with him :)

Three guys to watch at the top for me. Many guys still in contention, and going to be a great finish.

DJ - he’s in a zone, and no reason to believe that will stop. Slim lead - can be hang on?

Xander doesn’t necessarily go out and shoot the low round on any given day, but man, he is as steady as it gets just whittling away. That’s his game.

Justin Thomas - if he has an above average R3 and R4 with his putter, he’ll win this.

Tough to ignore Xander and Thomas at 5-1.

DJ better start hitting some tee balls straighter or he will get lapped. Cam +145 is tempting vs Hideki but I’m going to sit and watch the tournament match ups...

Good luck today guys

Finau -125 Over Hovland

Fading Hovland more so than on Finau

I'm doing poorly on this tourney after doing ok in 3 previous weeks.

2-3 on round matches

Pretty sure I'll be 1-4 on tourney matches & will lose the $50 to win $2000 on English to win the tourney

Going with Morikawa -115 OVER Berger Round #4

Congrats DJ well deserved...

Tough tournament to wager on but great tv...

Leishman fade worked went 2-0 tourney plays and stayed away from single round match ups. Looking forward to the US Open in a week and a half...

i had DJ @+150, then rahm and webb.
LOst a half unit.

the cover was to hope webb would bring it.
sigh
I suck at this
