Steelers@bills

Love the reasoning.

Obviously Pitt was missing some players and on short rest.

But ... This is a team that has a very average resume.

Buffalo is ascending.

Now, this spot would have been GREAT if Pitt won last week. Now, it's just solid.

We'll have to let @Lexington 125 chime in but I feel like the weakness of the Buffalo defense is not something that Pitt can expose too much?

Terrible spot for steelers. 3rd game in what 12-13 days? And they looked gassed in the 2nd half vs skins. They keep losing linebackers and think Dupree was heart of the d. They really need to get a run game established cause if Ben throwing 50x a game he gonna make mistakes and they won’t be able to hold a lead on anyone. Getting Conner back should help but dunno how much?

I thought niners were gonna beat bills despite thinking bills one kc biggest threats, just thought that game was so important to niners they would find a way. That was a incredibly impressive game by Allen and company. That the best they have looked without John brown in lineup. Beasly has been awesome, and that rookie who name I forget has stepped up big! When brown comes back watch out, they have as much firepower as anyone!! I’d like to see them get a more consistent run game also but think they can shoot it out with anyone. If the weather decent hard not to like that over. I expected to see a number in the 50s!!

Steelers activated C Maurkice Pouncey from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Pouncey spent the last 10 days on the COVID list. He'll return to the lineup after sitting out Week 13. Getting Pouncey back will improve a run game that managed 21 yards on 14 carries last week. The Steelers will also have James Conner (COVID-19) back in Week 14.

Steelers getting Pouncey/Conner back is huge for the Steelers. Now they'll lose by 6 instead of 14.

Really though there is a bit of anxiety of a letdown here from Buffalo, but that's honestly from past seasons. Definitely not enough to get me off a Buffalo wager.

Steelers sos- I get you can only beat who is in front of you... but cmon. Props to beating the Ravens 2x and handling the Browns though, not saying they are complete pretenders.

Steelers have the advantage of a top tier pass rusher in Watt, but losing Dupree is huge. Allen can roll away from Watt and has shown he will find the open man. Anyone can get it, but I think this is a big Diggs day. People who still think the loss of Brown is a big hamper on the offense has not watched them play enough. Gabe Davis is a playmaker. Beasley is having his beast season ever. Singletary is coming on now that the o line has some semblance of normalcy. Props to Singletary converting some really tough 2 yard runs. I had called for Moss to take a majority of carries early in the season, but it's clear to me Devin is the guy.

Total wise I can't even look at an under with so many playmakers on the field. WR have the advantage in this one. Haden out and Allen's ability to stretch plays will come into play. I suspect Big Ben will be able to find some plays downfield. Whoever White isn't on is likely better than the coverage, so I don't think they just get shut down. I do think the Bills will be able to generate pressure (as they have down the stretch) and that could force mistakes. The Bills secondary was terrible at takeaways early in the season but with a pass rush they are turning it around. As for the run d yes they will allow some chunk runs but the ability to rotate players in defensively now is giving that d life. They had Trent Murphy starting and now he's a healthy scratch every week. Milano should see even more reps this week and dare I say Edmunds is starting to make some big plays.

Lean to the over although it's highly possible both teams try to establish the run early. In the end you're going to have to score to win, and Buffalo scores tds.

Bills are a play for me. leaning on over/Bills tt over. Think Diggs anytime td and Singletary rush/rec over are solid plays (without looking at the odds)
