Ok so I feel like 80% confident my boy Hendon Hooker is gonna start today vs Steelers. We know Russ and the shitbag Steelers 1st string gonna be out there, u assume until they put together one drive that looks half way decent. The question really is can they do that against backups? My guess is it takes them 2-3 series to get them one long scoring drive and I’m not even sure it be a td! After that I think Tomlin will pull the plug as he will tell himself he can make that work with his d! Steelers defensive starters really shouldn’t be playing should they? I can’t imagine Tomlin worried bout that side of the ball, no more than a series anyways. The way I see this is I don’t think a crappy oline, a aging Russ, and a always unimaginative game plan is gonna all a sudden light up any defense that trying and I gotta believe whomever out there for lions will try cause that just what I expect from Cambell teams.
They want to give me +4.5 with the lions in rhe 1st half I’ll happily take it. I don’t think there any chance Russ comes out and looks like the jags last night, or even the niners offense. I do think they will manage a scoring drive but I also believe Hooker can put up some points as he battling to be the backup. So it takes Russ and co 3 drives to get anything. Hooker has one nice drive for a score imo, if he can get me 7 I don’t think Steelers covering 4.5!
