Gotta love having an SEC conference game on the first night. Even if it's Miss St. Good marketing by the Big East to have it's big conference games on Thursday nights. I always wished the Big Ten would put at least 1 decent conference game on Thursday night.

You wont see the Big 10 put tOSU or Mich out there on a Thurs. night. The money that is generated by Saturday games at those places is huge. And to take that much money away from them won happen. That is wht you get the Northwesterns on Thursday to build a little bit of interest.

This is LSU's first Thursday night game ever. I believe LSU wouldn't do this with a home game for the very same reasons.

As for the Tulane vs LSU game what a joke. I feel sorry for the college viewers for being forced to view that. IMO that is just dumb.

Good point, I understand about the money especially with tOSU and Mich. I just think it would be fun to see Wisconsin vs Purdue or Iowa vs Michigan St or any Big 10 vs BCS school non-con game. There's plenty of big money schools playing on Thurs. night. This year LSU, USC, Fla St., A&M, Miami, and Va Tech. So I can't see where it hurts a school too much financially. Look how it's helped the Big East. Just wishful thinking.

Nov. 1st to Nov 15th there is a football game everyday(NFL included):drinking:

LOL. ROLL WAVE ROLL!

Wisconsin almost always refuse to do night games as the crowd will be too drunk leading to problems in the city. Besides UNLV at home a few years ago, I think the last night game was a Thursday night against a MAC school maybe 8 or 9 years ago and school officials vowed it would be the last.

2002 vs. Ohio St. They stopped their 17 game winning streak the year after they won the Nat'l Title. It was ESPN's primetime game. I remember someone ran on to the field that night.

2005 they played Michigan in the 5 PM ESPN2 game. Great game I went to it. No one ran on the field that night. Although I thought about it in the 4th quarter after drinking vodka during the 1st 3 quarters.
