****Draft lottery, trade rumors, Kevin Love- Draft In game******

Indications are Caboclo never would've made it to 37, so Raps wise to gamble if they like him that much. Other teams were quietly in hunt

Im guessing it was the Spurs.

Raps are going to unanimously get the lowest draft grades of the night from the media.

There were better picks to be made at 20.

They knew Miami wanted Shabazz...switch with them at least and pick up a 2nd rounder in the future

Spurs really stocked their D League team...hate their draft.

We couldn't have found the Argentinian or Colombian Kevin Durant ??

I think their target was the guy the Raptors reached on. Bruno met with 3 teams privately in Texas; 1 was Toronto,2 were the Suns and the other I assume is San Antonio.

Also, I dont think it matters. Spurs can turn any turd into a bonafide star.

divol doesn't want Lebron, Paradox doesn't want Melo. Who exactly do you guys want, you're okay with a 35 year old Kobe

Love or Klay I would be really happy with. Also, would like to see Gasol back and play the Center finally.

I would take Bron over Melo on any given day. Melo with Kobe... just can't imagine how that would work.

Kobe + Gasol + Klay + Randall + still got money to make few decent signings - should be a great team...

All those guys opting out doesn't bode well for Lebron going anywhere. Can't believe that old greaseball might have convinced those guys to stick around, for less money.

LeBron staying in Miami, unless somehow Miami really manage to piss him off with something.

I can't see any chance that Bosh, Wade and Haslem opted out of their contracts, if Bron didn't promise them to re-sign, if they do that and take a pay cut...

this Jason Kidd shit is hilarious

The Milwaukee Bucks have offered Jason Kidd the President of Basketball Operations job. Wow, this is getting insane.

Jason Kidd wanted Brook Lopez and Mirza Teletovic traded to the Bucks for Larry Sanders & Ersan Ilyasova, management rejected. (@NetsDaily)

Kidd meltdown. That guy is going nowhere with the Bucks, and when the season is over and he is fired, he will never coach again.

Kidd did it on purpose to get out of Brooklyn. He knows he can't win with that roster no matter which division he is in.

It's not like he's going to do better in Milwaukee. Plus, he was in a big market and had a crazy russian owner who would gladly dump trucks full of money to get a winning team. Good luck trying to lure big names into Milwaukee.

Has a nice core of talent on that team. Not a fan of the pg.. But talent is there..

I think he hated it there and the crazy Russian..plus new ownership in Milwaukee won't be cheap..

The Hawks will get veteran forward John Salmons, who has a $1 million buyout of his $7 million salary that will create even more financial flexibility in Atlanta.
The Raptors will get Brazilian center Lucas Nogueira, the 16th overall pick last year who spent last season in Spain, and veteran guard Lou Williams, a scoring specialist who is under contract for almost $5.5 million next season.

two 2nd round picks for Jason Kidd... unreal. How do you give up assets for him?!?! Two pretty high 2nd round picks for a guy who has coached one season and didn't even do that good of a job... and has a ton of personal issues.

Lebron wanting max deal creaks the door open for him leaving, in my opinion. Wade opting out was absurd. He'll never make that back.

There's no way LeBron is leaving Miami after Bosh and Wade opted out. Wade can't possibly that big of an idiot to opt out of a $42M/2 yr deal when he knows he won't get anywhere near that from anyone else. The 3 of them met last week....if they all opted out it's quite obvious they are all staying in Miami. I guess there's a chance all 3 of them would be going somewhere else together, but LeBron can't get the max from anyone but Miami (there may be a couple of other teams who could, but I think Miami can still offer him the most).

I've been under the impression that LeBron was going back to Cleveland (and that if he wasn't he was staying in Miami). Once the 3 of them opted out, there was no chance of Bron going back to Cleveland this year.

And Wade will make that back from Miami as they are most likely going to just pay him that $42M over a very long period of time one way or another. Wade's not a dumb guy, he wasn't opting out of that deal if he didn't A. know LeBron was staying with him in Miami, and B. Miami was going to make up as much of that money as they possibly could.

I think Bron's back and Wade's high and dry.

So you think they sat down together and Bron was like "hey I'm gonna stay in Miami but want a max deal, so you have to opt out, leave $42M on the table, and...good luck?"

Come on Tip, this is that whole logic topic coming up again. Stop being so naive.

IF Lebron bolts, what incentive does the Miami have to pay Wade? For that matter, what incentive does Miami have to overpay Wade in any situation?

The surrounding cast in Cleveland is better than the surrounding cast in Miami. And younger. And closer to home. And max contract.
