I'm seeing team totals of Texans 20.5 and Steelers 23.5

What do you like tonight and why?

Houston.

TY Hilton had an exceptional game and the comparisons of Antonio Brown doing the same are warranted, however, 2 of his "chunk" plays were a blown coverage by Swearinger and a trip by our safety in double coverage. Slowly, with the addition of Ryan Pickett, former Packer, the defense has not been a sieve for RBs the last 2 weeks. Defensively, it would be nice to have Clowney on passing downs but Mercilus had his best game of the season last week and Brooks Reed will play as well. I bet the Texans 2 years ago in this game, albeit, different teams, but Roethlisberger's penchant for holding the ball a lot longer than most QBs plays right into JJ Watt making plays and his misc. QB hits stat should turn into at least 2 sacks.

Offensively, the play Pitt struggles most with is outside zone in the running game which the Texans run best. I believe O'brien will know this and will have a lot setup in play action off of it. The Steelers are starting Brice McCain at corner this week. The Texans released him as he couldn't hold the nickel corner job here. I think the Texans will do their best getting Hopkins/Johnson the ball to exploit this mismatch. I don't see any way he could have an advantage against either. Fitzpatrick is not a good quarterback, but with manageable first downs from Foster he has been able to execute at an efficient level.

Fitzpatrick can always have one of his 3 INT games, but I don't see that happening with the extra few days to prepare and the health of the Pitt defense. The Texans last 2 losses have been to arguably 2 of the top 5 teams in the league and Pittsburgh is not in that category.

Good luck to whatever you play. I have Texans +3 and ML.

Home team on Mnff available currently at -3 +100. Ok , I'll take it. Both teams incredibly flawed. Home team at a fg with positive vig is autofuckingmatic in the Sunday league

It's hard for me to bet against Pitt on a Monday night at home.. But this isn't the same Pitt team we've seen in years past that can step up defensively when need be.

Foster is going to run wild and as mentioned earlier in this thread, Houston has played teams close, even if they look bad while doing it.

@AdamSchefter: Steelers have won a record 15-straight Monday Night Football games at home, with their last such loss coming in 1991 against the Giants.

I'm thinking I'll be on the Houston team total over 20.5 -110 or unlikely the over 20 -133 tonight.

Houston has scored at least 17 points in all six of their games this season (three were right at 17, 23, 28, 30). Pittsburgh has given up 27, 26, 19, 27, 9 (Jax), and 31. Houston does a good job of creating turnovers and I can see some short field scores tonight.

Rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) has been listed as questionable for the Texans’ “Monday Night Football” contest at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Texans cornerback Darryl Morris (ankle) is again out, while linebacker Mike Mohamed (calf) is questionable.
Clowney was limited in practice Saturday for the second consecutive day. He said Friday he hopes to play against the Steelers. Texans coach Bill O’Brien said the No. 1 overall pick of the 2014 NFL draft will be a gametime decision. Clowney hasn’t played since Week 1 against the Washington Redskins, when he tore his right meniscus.
Steve McLendon, Ike Taylor and Shamarko Thomas are out for the Steelers.

I sense that more bets are on Oilers and under. They must think its going to be Polomalu vs. Watt in a cage or something. Houston D is bottom statistically and Gruden/Tirico are shrugging their head at the lack of talent on Steeler defenders. Feels a little like SN game v. Carolina with people on Under and second half getting wild.

Clowney is not playing per houston radio even though they say "game time decision". Will be very surprised to see him go tonight.

On Pit-2.5 tonight for small wager

ESPN just showed him on the field attempting to warm up with the "game time decision" still pending.

I tailed you on the Texans season UNDER wins so needing a Pitt win tonight....

Took Txns ML

I love a good trend like the one supporting the Steels, but I'm going the other way.

Think Lechler can keep 'em pinned deep.

Hoping for Bovada to post a 2.5 & I may go for the middle chance with my Hou +4. Narrow fucking middle though...

@AdamSchefter: Steelers have won a record 15-straight Monday Night Football games at home, with their last such loss coming in 1991 against the Giants.

They haven't hosted a MNF game since 2012. And they are 10-5 ATS in those 15 games (0-3 ATS L3). The last three Steelers' home MNF games have been decided by a margin of exactly three points each, two of which were decided in overtime.

Yep. Lang-a-tang is shockingly up 300 dimes in the NFL but we all know the downhill slide is just around the corner.

figures he would be on a heater during a season when most good cappers are struggling to break even. He will give it back in grand fashion IMO.

:stripper:

I'm going to go to the strip club tonight. Is this the in-game thread? If it is not the in-game thread, then it is probably inappropriate for antics. I know what you are thinking, "A strip club on a school night?"

you better post some fucking pictures dammit. I want the play by play.

I took the Texans. I think they are undervalued, and the Steelers aren't even close to what they used to be. Haley is killing that offense.

If anything the Texans are overvalued because of the 'JJ Watt factor'.

Makes folks forget the QB is Ryan Pickspatrick.

Think the Steelers score some points tonight, not sure if Houston will as well. Steelers tt o 23.5 and ML for me, may get involved with Houston team total live if Foster is just gashing the defense. In Fitzpatrick I don't trust.

Is it me or is Suzie Kolber waaay better looking now than 10 years ago with dyke hair cut?

Steez just got called soft by Cowher and Hines (not sure if his vote counts due to his 'DWTS' gig). Pitt has to respond tonight surely, a career losing Ivy Leaguer QB ain't gonna come in and get the win. No way.
