I remember in 2019 the season started with a ton of unders. The first game of the season repeated that trend and it stands to reason defense would develop faster than offense after a two year layoff. Add that BC has had trouble protecting Reilly and under would seem to be the safe play here tonight.

So with that in mind but with faith in the pass on first down, I am going to continue to buck that trend. Although truth be told, I may lose my entire CFL budget before the second week of the season. But that's why god created baseball.

I do see the logic. From 2007 week 1 totals have gone under nearly 60% of the time. But the avg total was also 51.5. This year we are seeing a major adjustment with totals under 50 to start the year.
