Jerry makes all the personnel decisions and I don't see him giving that up again though he once did it for Parcells. Bill can go to Atlanta and have total control since he has shown what a genius he is with the draft.

Another thing with Belichick look at his staffs the last few seasons. Letting Matt Patricia call plays for the offense was inexcusable and to be honest O'Brien is not much better. At this point its more than fair to question what kind of staff he will put together and no matter what he needs a solid GM to handle the draft and free agency.

I think Roman is probably the best scheme for a guy like Fields. He led leading rushing teams in SF and BAL. He cannot keep up with passing in the NFL but he was great for Kap and young Lamar. If they’re keeping Fields this is the only scheme he could be okay in.

Already gave my thoughts yesterday in the in-game why I think he should be retained. I do chuckle when the media acts indignant about a coach NOT getting fired after going 36-15 and 1-3 in the playoffs but another coach can go 28-22-1 in that same time, 0-2 in the playoffs, watch his teams get scored 66-0 in the first quarter of his last 5 playoff games, see his team surrender an average of 40 points in those playoff games (despite being a defensive minded coach) and the media says the team would be crazy to part ways with him.
