2023 Texas Rangers - Entire Season

Welp you were right, can’t believe they gave that game away last night, they had several innings they coulda put game away but only scored 1 run, Perez was crap, I thought they were gonna escape in extras until I saw they were leaving that awful pitcher Burke in to pitch the 10th, I was pretty nervous instantly. The fact that guy had a decent era was no solace as I watched him pitch to one batter and new that era was fugazi! What a awful pitcher he is! All he throws is high 92mph fastballs! What is the purpose of even rostering a guy like that? I guess cause he left handed but that doesn’t really work in todays game. Anyways I shoulda respected your warning more as it cost me a couple really nice parlays at the end the night! (I woulda hedged live but obviously I can’t thanks to having to go to Illinios to bet!).

Most the times when I think the price worth fading the A’s I go into the game assuming I have a edge in the late innings cause A’s pen is pretty much awful far as I can tell! The seattle series they played with them the entire time while starters were in but seattle won every game in the later innings. Just going off numbers I assumed I still had a pen advantage even if rangers pen isn’t close to what seattle is, on paper they appear average which not ideal but still better than A’s! That said I watched a few guys in that pen now who have decent enough numbers but im not sure how they got them or if they will continue cause they don’t offer much in the way of ability far as I can tell!

Is it bad enough If I trust gray today would I be better off with a 1st 5 play? I never considered that fading oakland cause I want to see their pen but not if rangers is vulnerable.
 
Freaking gray, his number came down to 5.5 k’s, I couldn’t resist that, he had 4 a couple innings ago, with his pitch count looking good to pitch deep I thought he get 6k’s for sure but hasn’t fanned anyone last few innings. Ugh

7-3 trip, you gotta start giving them a little more credit! I havnt seen pitching matchups for atl but Braves got some pitchers at moment ya’ll can do some damage on! How well ya’ll pitchers hold up vs them will probably be the bigger question. Their offense hasn’t exactly been on fire, they do bash the ball but they also strike out quite a bit. Seems like you catching them at a time they not playing their best.

Dane Dunning has been excellent replacing Jake
In his 2 starts his ERA is 1.64

You very tough to please! Most fan bases be dancing in the street to have the start rangers have! Of course there be hiccups, hardly anyone gets thru a long Mlb season without some rough stretches but they look like legit contenders for a playoff spot at the very least.

I’ll take it game by game vs atl but we see, I think you guys catching them at a good time. Dunning has put together a couple nice starts since moving back into the rotation. This a pretty cheap price they hung on Braves tonight, dunno if rangers getting respect or it reflects Braves current little skid? I thought some the prices in Oakland got to be ridiculously cheap if you got them at the right time. They seem to be giving them more respect here, if Braves take money today and push line up higher I might be tempted to play rangers. I don’t think I could play atl gm 1.

They must have switched? I saw dunning, I guess my sports app on crack cause it still shows dunning but book shows the guy you taking about, I’m assuming it was dunning at some point or no way line woulda opened where it did, it much higher now for obvious reasons. So this app must have it all wrong cause it showing Eovaldi 2marro. Wtf.
 
There no way I’d play a minor league lefty vs Braves, lol. I thought dunning v Morton I could make a case around +120. I woulda been all over atl -115 with this matchup.

I really didn’t expect them to go into balty and take 2 of 3. I really thought o’s pen edge would win that series, Anyone not taking them seriously is crazy! Tough one today as tigers playing pretty good ball and I think I like their lineup better vs lhp even if numbers don’t bare it out (not sure on that at moment, lol). Feado been pretty impressive w his k rate and rangers have a habit of fanning quite a bit at times. Kinda feel like they begging for rangers action with that line! Then again they make a lot of prices that make no sense to me, lol. I think this one makes sense but I also think they will get a lot more ranger support at that price.

Perez was awful but our offense made up for it by scoring ten run
Final score was 10-6 upping our record to 35-19

I’m done with Jake and his prima donna ways
he threw 26 pitches on 5/26 and hasn’t thrown since then
he left the team today to go to florida for his new babies arrival unlike the rest of the league he’ll take as many days as he chooses
one day late next week he will get another scan done on his arm
once the results comeback they’ll try and formulate the next step with him


day off tomorrow and the Mariners come to town this weekend…
 
God why did they give him that contract? You think Mets woulda let him walk and replaced him with old geezers if they thought there was any chance he could be healthy?
