2022 Texas Rangers-Entire Season

It's a battle of atrocious bullpens.

I took the Tigers to win the series at +140...the college fund is now in the unenviable position of needing Detroit to reel off 2 in a row.

i dont envy that spot at all, god they so bad!! the offense is far worse than the pen far as tigers go, not sure bout rangers.. should be another pitchers duel today, i love Skubal but cant imagine tigers score much of anything off Gray who i think looking pretty good of late.. havnt really dug in yet but it screams 1st 5 under at 1st glance.

Otto gets the ball tomorrow afternoon

in fairness to the lack of runs, at least today they faced a guy in Josiah Gray who think is under the radar but coming into his own, he super talented, no shame struggling against him when he on. i cashed his k prop over :)

Why has it been so long since otto last start? Was he hurt or on covid list? If not for the long layoff I’d be real interested in going over his total outs prop but I don’t even see a number for him, prob for this reason.,

this series showed all of MLB that the 2022 Texas Ranger baseball team is still crap
we lost 2/3 and should have lost all three

I don’t think it fair to call the O’s “lowly” at the moment. Been talking bout them past week or so w some ppl. Honestly think if ya put them in the AL or NL central they could probably compete for the division! Probably fall short but they make it a race!! Just unfortunate for them they play in the brutally unfair Al east and will prob be sellers at deadline and they look crappy in dog days yet again. Obviously getting swept sucks against anyone but don’t think it as embarrassing as some may think. O’s will sweep few more teams that in contention before all said and done!!

the front office thought our big signings would turn this team around
but if you put lipstick on a pig guess what it’s still a pig and that’s the 2022 Texas Rangers

I doubt they thought it would make them instant contenders. If this was the extent of their vision for this team that wasn’t smart! Lol. I’m assuming they have a idea and last year was just a step. Ya gotta throw a little cash around and announce yourself to the world!!

They Got themselves a cornerstone franchise guy in Seager, he having a down season but I wouldn’t worry bout that, it took Goldsmidt a year to get acclimated to playing in Stl, little longer to be back playing at the level we expect, and now this season a MVP CALIBER player. Guys get that huge money in a new city and expectations go sky high, gotta deal with a move and everything being new, clubhouse, teammates, weather, coaches, etc etc, it a lot! I’d bet money he goes back to being a .900ish ops guy next year and prob even catches fire for a stretch one these last few months!

I think they got a great deal with Grey, he should be a great 3 man in rotation for life of contract, maybe even a solid 2 at times. Clearly they could use a legit ace and another guy around gray/Perez, ideally a ACE who slots in front of them!

Semien deal was as bad as Gray was good but teams like these guys can afford one of these and still be able to work around it. Cards were paying Matt Carpwnter way too much money his last several years when he was worthless (we had him and Dexter Fowler crazy bad contracts at same time!). it wouldn’t have been a huge deal except mike matheny continued to play him daily as he was so dumb he let value of contracts set the lineup, hopefully sometime way before Semien 35-36-37 they will just cut bait and pay him not to be there!! Lol.

I don’t know anything bout Ya’ll farm system? Surely you got sone young talent approaching big league ready? Ideally a pitcher or 3 be nice!! If not I guess maybe they have to open the checkbooks up again this offseason?? Lol

we scored in only one inning & that was enough to beat the Twins 6-5 our record is now 38-43

Can’t wait for Gray to pitch against A’s, he been cashing his k prop pretty much every start yet they never jack his number up over 5.5, often it only 4.5 which crazy! I assume we get another 5.5 vs a oak team w bunch of swing and miss and he should cruise past it!

a good pitching matchup tonight as Perez takes on Gonzalez
the mariners are in town for four before the ASG
we need to go at least 2-2

Another brutal loss on the pen. I was so close to running up to casino and getting down on seattle live when I saw Perez pitch count was so high he wasn’t gonna go further than 5. All those punch outs and walks had him at 100 pitches thru 5 innings and pen blows a 5-1 lead.

Santana has thrown 35.2 innings since opening day, please tell me how the fuk can that tire out anyone

they baby these pitchers if you can do your job bring up some kids they’ll throw everyday of the week to be in “the show”
