we made two errors today Duran his 7th a throwing error
Seager his 14th throwing

Otto gets the ball tomorrow night vs the A’s

will be VERY interesting to see how both the players & fans respond to today’s decision to fire Woody

Daniels did take some of the blame for the 2022 team’s performance
we have only 48 games left & this move was NOT necessary at this time
Woody shouldn’t have been the manager for this year
our lack of discipline at the plate
we’ve made way too many errors and our coaches can’t motivate these guys
BUT our rotation was doomed before the first pitch of this season
we had a decent 1-2 but awful 3,4,5 starters and our bullpen had/had more leaks than Kim Kardashians pussy

Ownership needs to fire Jon Daniels & Chris Young we need a total overhaul

tonight’s lineup still has Semien as our lead off batter which isn’t the spot for him he needs to bat 3rd or 5th
Seager needs lots of work with his defense he’s got 14 errors

I’d say if Otto can give us 4-5 good innings we should win this game

sorry Woody took the fall for Daniels
Woody is a very nice man and I hope he gets another chance soon

we were very lucky that we played a team worse than us last night as we won 2-1 our record now stands at 52-63

Otto (W 5-8) went 6.0 innings gave up 2 hits 1 run which was earned walked 6 struck out 1 and gave up a solo HR

Taveras 1-3
Miller 2-2
Thompson 1-3
Josh Smith 0-3

struck out 9 times went 1-9 with RISP and left 9 on base

the Woody era ended and the Beasley era began
we’ve got 47 games left and I don’t expect a big run from these guys
our 3,4,5 starters are still suspect at best
our bullpen has been battered
what I do hope improves is our lack of discipline at the plate Woody never addressed this problem

It infuriates me that Jon Daniels still has his job

Kohei Arihara takes to the mound tonight

I can’t believe A’s scored 1 run off a freaking solo shot in a game rangers issued them 9 free passes! How the fuck you get 9 walks gifted to ya and can’t bring one of them home is beyond me!!

Never heard this guy pitching for ya’ll tonight, I assumed he was young prospect but he freaking 30!! Did he come over from Japan league or something? Looks like he throws a ton of different pitches which always seemed to be a Japan league pitcher staple. You know anything about him?

We got him from Japan a couple years ago. He made a handful of starts for us last year...nothing spectacular. The radio boys were saying he's been having a mundane year down in Round Rock.
Probably a good confidence booster to make your season debut against the A's.

Pretty confident I could go 4-5 innings of decent work vs Oakland lineup!!

I take that back, for realism sake I think I could prob go 1-2 solid innings vs Oakland!! My arm prob fall off after that!! Lol

Heim 2-4 drove in our only run
Taveras 2-3
Culberson & Duran both 0-3

struck out 6 times went 1-4 with RISP and left 8 on base
our basic baseball skills are lacking, such as base running and discipline at the plate
these can’t/won’t be fixed over our final 46 games
it’s just basic baseball and this team has lacked these skill for the past 4/5 years

Ragans gets the ball tonight

Nothing drives me more crazy than todays players inability or refusal to move runners over/get them home with less than 2 outs!! Shit so frustrating! I would lose my shit if I managed these clowns!! (Not just your team, it a epidemic throughout the sport!). Everyone wants to swing for the fences no matter the count or situation! Then they bitch about the shift, Mfers should love the shift as it should be incredibly easy to get a base hit when your team needs one!!

Marty gets the ball this afternoon then we get tomorrow off and the Tigers come to Globe Life for the weekend

I’m torn on Perez today, generally I believe If your history in Colorado or Arizona is bad you will continue to struggle at those parks as the dry air and elevation make them drastically different than anywhere else. The problem for me here is Perez a totally different pitcher than way back when he pitched those games at coors! Rox ability to mash lefties at home and Urena been mostly good enough to keep his team in every home start outside getting crushed by lad once makes me like rox getting plus money today.

I hope you bet my team today

I hope you bet my team today

Na. I fucked up. Thought there was value in rox as home dogs vs a lefty. Up until today for the most part Urena has given them a chance to win all his starts outside lad blowing him up once, didn’t expect rangers to smash him for 9 runs so quickly! Lol. Oh well, so far that only loss on the card I hit tried ml, a Ff under, and several k props. Tonight I need O’s ml and Ff tt ov 1.5, and McClanahan ov 6.5 k’s.

Dallas Keuchel gets the ball for us tonight
he’ll either be a complete dumpster fire or pitch a gem

Cole Ragans went on the 15 day DL with a left calf injury

I’ve never like kuechal, he has kicked my ass more than a few times back in the day but think I’ve gotten him back a few times over since that redic season or 2 he had!! Feel like tigers lineup should be able to hit him, think im gonna play tigers Ff tt ov1.5. I really don’t want any part of Rodriguez vs ya’ll lineup. Rangers have a top 10 ops vs lhp and just dunno what to expect from him only having that 1 game vs laa awful lineup since coming back, anyone can keep them off the board, he still walked 3 in 5 innings, if he does that again I’d suspect rangers score some runs!

we were down 4-1 after two innings and were never in this game, final score was 11-2 dropping our record to 58-68

Keuchel threw 96 pitches over 5.1 innings gave up 11 hits 7 runs all of them earned walked 1 struck out 1 and gave up a 2 run HR
