The only one that comes to mind is that pick against the Giants (?) a couple years ago in the "play-in" game the last week of the season (?), but I believe he's well below .500 in elimination games in his career.

They lost in 2011 at the Giants in the final game of the season. They lost 31-14 and were down 21-0 at the half. Romo threw 2 TDs and 1 pick. He was 29/37 for 298 yds, and the 'Boys rushed for 49 yds.

If that pick cost them that game, then you're right he choked it away.

Good memory, Lar.

Didn't even need google.

But it seems your actual memory isn't too good. And that was the only game you have pointed at in defending your opinion that Romo has choked away a lot of elimination games in his career.

You're "more" right. I'll bump the appropriate thread and deliver my concession speech when he wins a championship. Even a conference championship. Or plays in one.

Raiders doing it the right way> Lots of important signings but no big splashes

a lot of the signings are front loaded too, so when it comes time to pay Mack, or when they need that big FA to put them over the top the money will be there

just need to hit this draft like he did the last one and Reggie has the team on its way

They have to be going WR in the 1st round right?

That is funny
U don't have a clue if u think the Philly OL is crap

Worry about ur "horseshit" vikings

don't get so butthurt

sure, they have good players, but that OL was terrible last season due to all the injuries. No depth whatsoever. Maybe they aren't horseshit on paper but they were not good last season.

and you can all but guarantee AP winds up in Dallas now. I'll be sorry to see him go. Maybe they will put together a Herschel Walker-type deal to bring AP to the 'boys and repay the favor the Vikes did them back in the 90's. would only be fair.

if Leonard Williams somehow drops to 4 they take him no doubt

otherwise probably Amari or White at 4, but they could also take one of the pass rushers (Ray/Gregory/Fowler) and then get another WR at the top of the 2nd (Devin Smith, Funchess, Jaelen, Agholor etc.)

P-Unit...I like ya man but that might be the dumbest thing youve ever said on CTG

2014 Offensive Line rankings from PFF

Granted Dallas is #1...but if Phillys is "horseshit" then so is everyone else in the league bc look who's #2....(and thats with the injuries and before they released the guy who was the weak link)

2. Philadelphia Eagles (1st)
Pass Blocking Ranking: 10th, Run Blocking Ranking: 1st, Penalties Ranking: 27th
Stud: In the conversation for best left tackle in the league right now, and if nothing else the run blocking of Jason Peters makes him the most fun to watch.
Dud: Credit to Todd Herremans for trying to gut it out, but the upshot was him being something of a liability in pass protection before going on Injured Reserve.
Breakdown: How did the line finish this highly with all the injuries they had? The replacements (Matt Tobin, Andrew Gardner and David Molk) all struggled so you can place their midseason renaissance down to getting their studs back. Peters and Lane Johnson were PFF All-Pro first teamers, Evan Mathis was on pace to be one, but missed some time, while Jason Kelce had the sixth-highest run blocking score of any center. A strong finish to the year for this unit.

so what are the numbers behind this? I can't get out of my head how they got beat like a drum in the middle of the season. Plus, they run more plays the anyone.

And I say plenty of dumb shit. See my Kate Upton thread :tiphat:

if the Raiders draft Funchess that high you can be sure Al Davis had something to do with it. That dude has bust written all over him.

disagree, I would prefer Jaelan at that spot but we will see

My guess is it ends up being Amari or White, especially with news tonight they are going after Greg Hardy

But Philly is closer to a SB than Dallas. You like data, go look at it.

Updated odds after Philly signed DeMarco and Matthews. Dallas still ahead of Philly.

Dallas 14/1
Philly 20/1

Those odds are from Bovada.

Here are the MGM odds (again, updated after the Murray signing). Philly moved up from 20/1 to 16/1 at MGM, but here are the Top 5.

[h=4]Current Odds To Win Super Bowl[/h]• Indianapolis Colts 5-1
• Seattle Seahawks 11-2
• Green Bay Packers 11-2
• New England Patriots 6-1
• Dallas Cowboys 8-1

Any Redskins fans here like their moves? I see they are making some moves on some mid-tier guys. I also heard they like Mariota, which would be funny if they drafted him.

cowboys are still gonna draft a RB, or try and trade for AP.

Right. McFadden most likely isn't going there to start, even if they don't add AP or draft a guy. I think they're content with Randle and Dunbar, so McFadden just gives them some depth. That's not to say either Randle or Dunbar can come close to replacing the production Murray gave them last year, but the line is still the same and they are the best (or close to it) in the league. Bill Callahan also left the Cowboys, so we'll see if that has any impact on the OL, as he was the maestro of that group.

Dallas needed a RB because Randle gonna be missing some time per the commish (because he's a dumb fuck). Dallas will go hard after AP.

i dunno how hard they're gonna go after AP. all depends on the contract. the silver spoon is running the show now, clearly. not paying demarco, franchising dez, and letting a future hall of famer in demarcus ware go are all signs that jerrah ain't doing the driving anymore.

AP will not play for that amount this year. wherever he goes (Minny or elsewhere) will be a lower number with incentives. He has to know deep down he ain't getting paid like that in this market even though he's still the best RB in the game.

He's too stubborn to realize his contract situation tho. got too many people around him giving bad advice from what I'm hearing. If some team gives him an incentive-laden contract he will bust his ass to get paid - so he'll be motivated like he was after his injury to prove himself.

Peterson will need to be released for almost any team to acquire him. He makes 12.75mil in 2015.

naw, they could restructure his contract if he really wants to go somewhere.

Not that Dallas would want to pay that much for a RB...it seems clear they don't with what they offered Murray ($6 mil/yr), and how they didn't match Philly's offer...BUT, they would have the cap room if they wanted to. I just read they have about $9 mil in room right now, and would either restructure their deal with Brandon Carr, or cut him if he doesn't agree to that which would free up another $8 mil in salary cap room. They could also do some restructuring with Tony Romo, who has a cap hit of $27 mil this year....he's done it in the past, and would most likely do it again, especially if it meant landing AP.

$27 million cap number for Romo is ridiculous. I didn't know it was that high. Figured it was closer to $20 million.

Yeah, it's the highest in the league this year. Pretty sure it's only that high because of restructuring he's done in the past with the Cowboys.

His cap hit is actually $27.77 million too.

the problem with restructuring romo again is the cap hits just keep getting bigger every year, and the dude is 36 and has had 2 back surgeries. it's not as simple as, 'lets just restructure fat tony'.

Romo's 36? Didn't realize he was quite that elderly. (He's almost out of time, Lar.)

Maybe Fat Tony should've restructured earlier to keep Demarco instead of whining to the media about his loss:crying2:

I'd imagine if Dallas asked him to, he would have. It seems pretty clear Dallas wasn't willing to pay DeMarco anymore than what they offered, since they had the cap space to do so w/o restructuring anyone else's deal.

Haters gonna hate though.

With the Spiller signing, Saints may need to cut Jahri Evans.

Hope he gives Philly a hometown discount to come back home. I think he'd want to, and Eagles need at least one Guard as of now.

Nick Fairley to the Rams on a one year deal. Looks like it's $5 million in base salary, and he can earn up to $7.5 million based on incentives.

picked him up for a 5th rounder too.

I find it hilarious because Vikes went after him hard and offered more money than Miami but he didn't want to play here. hahahahahaha

And reports the Vikes have released Greg Jennings. No surprise there with that big contract. Good guy though.
