From 1990...

Chip Kelly gonna get mad loot to coach at LSU. You want to beat Bama, bring in a good.college.spread.coach.

Regardless of Les' situation, ESPN's coverage and continued pressing for answers is shameful. He is the coach this week. Stop asking the same question and let the man do his job.

From 1990...

they were really bad against the other big name teams in the late 80s and early 90s. they were playing an archaic 5-2 defense that was effective against the wishbone/option teams. they kept recruiting qbs who couldn't throw at all. two big changes happened to turn the program. they switched to a 4-3 and got faster/smaller on defense and they pulled tommie frazier out of florida. The result was a 60-3 run between 93 and 97. they were likely a badly officiated game (93 title game) and a horrible flu virus (96 big 12 championship game loss cost them national title chance. they had buckets all along the sidelines for all the players who were throwing up) away from 5 national championships in a row. what a turnaround.

I'll eat crow...is he Back?!?!

Unreal....hope they write a book about this one....something happened, beside LSU botching this shit

I cannot believe he survived all this shit...it's unreal....Cam is the fall guy again lol? Is that it?

LSU fucked this up so fucking bad I cannot even begin...

So LSU AD lets Les Miles twist in wind for a week amid reports he's gone before backing him publicly tonight. Poor leadership.

Craziest clock management move of the Les Miles era comes from his bosses tonight.
    Bruce Feldman added,
Ross Dellenger @DellengerAdvLes Miles said he found out after the game that he'd continue to be #LSU's head coach.

Could be.....lesson learned....you do this shit the way Va Tech did it.

This was an LSU botch job....nothing more or less
ray tanner did the same thing with Herman. People talking too much. Don't understand why we can't keep it hush until final

Because the media (and social media) rule everything in sports nowadays. These scumbag reporters care more about a scoop than the truth. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

What did Va Tech do though? Didn't Beamer simply announce he was going to retire?

LSU's admin. just got worked by a dude that eats grass. I have a feeling that Alleva is about to learn the truth of Omar's axiom : Come at the king, you best not miss.

Sad thing is there are a number of programs in the last few years hat have courted people, even flown them in, without anyone knowing. Today some fuckbag insider is gonna spill the beans, even if they are incorrect beans, just to get a story out lol

I think more that they got a guy named and it wasn't a huge hubub before. Today we heard it at one time. Everyone is going to speculate but the insider stuff is terrible

ISU interviewed the Toledo coach this morning and canceled all other interviews afterward, which means he will end up at UCF

Campbell is a good get for ISU.

LSU fucked it up. From the outside, it looks like TAF were arrogant and over-estimated LSU's place in the pecking order. LSU need to go out and hire the best OC out there. Find the guy that can work with the talent they recruit and who will keep Saban awake at night. Its worked for Stoops with Reilly, worked for Meyer with Herman. If they had $15 million to get rid of the staff they have the money to hire the biggest hotshot out there

Would think Kirby would be ahead of Herman due to him being alum and recruiting so well there but wouldn't fault them at all for hiring Herman. I think Richt hangs em up
