Chicago has injuries (Big Ben hurting and Nocioni questionable) and the Kobe talks could be a distraction. They haven't won in New Jersey in the last 3 years. Nets are healthy and could sneak up on people this year. Laying the small number in the home opener.

Homer play but I think there is nice value in this line. Lebron will probably bounce back with a good game but I still think fading the Cavs right now is a good idea (with Varajeo out and lines not adjusted because of Finals run). Knicks have better starters in 4 of 5 positions (lol) and should dominate the post with Z-Bo and Curry. NY is 3-2 SU and 4-1 ATS last 5 games at Cleveland.

Again, nice value in the dog. Jack and Roy both stuggled offensively the other night and Portland still hung with the Spurs for most of the game. Can't take much from New Orleans' 1st game since Sac was without Bibby and Artest, and Hornets were lights out from 3 (10-21). A number like 8 always gives the shot of a backdoor if Portland can't hang close. I remember last season when I took New Orleans laying points at home they'd look good for 3 quarters then give away the cover (and sometimes the game). Another thing to think about - the Hornets game on Wednesday was big and anticipated since it marked the team's return to New Orleans....may be a letdown in game #2.
