*****Week 17 how is there not a thread yet Discussion and in-game*****

Vikes fans understand this more than most, they are the ones saying if AP played this year they might I repeat 'MIGHT' have 9 wins
I'm pretty confident Vikes would have 9 or 10 wins with AP this year and I'm definitely in the majority of that opinion.

no more than that though. worth 3 wins tops this year. Miami and Buffalo would have been wins with AP, I'm sure of that. Probably win at Detroit too.

it is by far without doubt the most replaceable position in football

Bell and Murray have been great at it, and I think Bell would be harder to replace because of his work in the passing game, but you put Lamar Miller on either of those teams and they aren't struggling

you put Brian Hoyer and they are heading to the Bahamas next week not a playoff game

Bell being out for the playoffs wouldn't even move the spread.

thats crazy because we actually dont have a backup RB. We have Dre Archer, who might be smaller then me.

As teed just mentioned, Bell is not only a runner, but he has more receptions then most WR's. 21st in the league (bell has 77, AB has 122)

here's Millman's list of player value to a spread from Sept, obviously some players would change, but notice the theme with the first fucking 19 guys

They'd just sign a couple practice squad guys at RB. Ask yourself who they could least do without, Ben, Brown, or Bell? There are probably 6 big uglies on the lines they'd rather not lose.

Bell is only the 3rd RB EVER to have over 2000 yards and no fumbles in the season... that must mean something

It's nice to have a great RB. But it's just that, nice. Not necessary, nor all that valuable.

I'd say his most valuable stat isn't the yards, it's not ever fumbling.

Blocking the best attribute of a back, then don't turn it over, then get us some tough yards
