Well, NBA is back. I truly am excited obviously for the capping but what I hope is a more pure NBA this season. I think there is plenty of intrigue and its going to be a wild season. Last year the regular season was great. Fine tuned a few things and pulled in over 100 units for the regular season. Playoffs was like kissing ones sister but thats fine. Lets have a secon great NBA yar at CTG and I look forward to some old faces as well as new ones.

Portland @ San Antonio

The line is currently at 13' at Bookmaker. The old fade a championship team on their ring ceremony night angle is here. Two years ago at SA Denver was up huge yet still didn't cover the +8. That was a horrid moose to start the year. Last year Chicago went into Miami and crushed them. Not really going to get involved with Portland games for awhile. They were a solid home bet for 2nd half last year. Need to see this team idetity and some injury concerns.

Houston @ LA Lakers

Do not just bet this game because its opening night and on TV. That not the way to get season started. Kobe could bring 50 or could be a dud. We have to see his mindset first and foremost. Houston is adjusting to a new system and I think they will struggle for the first month..at times. In the second half of the year though I see them firing on all cylinders.

Utah @ Golden State

As I said when this playoff series started last year. Its all about the rebounding. Jpicks will tell you the same thing. I think in this game the advantage will be even more present. Now, this is a playoff revenge game as well. I think this line is off though. This makes Utah a 1.5 favorite at home. Not buying it. Heavy lean on Utah right now. Will wath the line and get a little more information before moving forward.



So, if I have a play opening night it will be Utah. I also lean over in this affair. No thanks on the other two contests.
 
any thoughts for Sa/Portland over 186. seems too low for a Portland team determined to score more points this yr. I think if SA does have a mini let-down from the rings ceremony, it'll be taking it easy on the defensive end. So Portland could get to 92-95, and SA should shred the Portland D up for triple digits. thoughts?
 
I understand your philosphy but at same point I can't recommend a play either way. have seen points for both sides of that total so far in my short reading tonight.
 
HOU at -3 seems like a mad public play, and with no odom and most likely a Kobe that doesn't give a f, is the play rockets as a small fave? or just a leave it alone?

Lakers line is getting ridiculous. I loved Houston at -2 but with the line looking like you can get Lakers +4 at plus money, I'm not so sure that I wouldn't just go with the home dog at either the 2:1 ML or the +105 +4...

Like Utah, hoping to get a little more value, looks like its not going to happen though...
 
GL bar...I wanted to play Utah..however I am not sure what the GSW will bring after the way they went out in the playoffs...GL
 
went to the lal vs. jazz preseason game last week and utah looked good, played with intensity, solid rebounding team....ronnie brewer will give them some solid back up minutes.

lakers looked like shit, no hearts, no rebounds, no d, no movement on the offensive end. I don't even think phil runs the triangle offense anymore! kobe will be gone any time if the org can find some trade values for this guy, the latest will be before the nba allstar.

this is what i would do if i were dr. buss.
retire phil, bring back jwest, let west talk to kobe about his future w/ the lal. if that doesn't work out trade his ass.

i like the over on the lal game.

rebounding and offensive putbacks is where it's at as boozer shrugs off inside defenders like bellichek does " did you run up the score ? " questions in post game news conferences . harpring not playing bothers me as he is super g.i. joe with the kung-fu grip 12 foot jumper waiting to happen kinda solid . millsap will bully inside like you're in the cafeteria and give up the bolonga sandwhich deciding to keep all your teeth cuz yearbook photo is next week but kirelenko cried and i dont like that in players i put money on . rail thin with a skeletor head sporting an ivan drago haircut motherfucker and mehmet okur's wife is like ms. world beauty pageant winner ? ? that face he makes , with them eyes , reminds me of this kid that used to sniff white-out in class , and the ball getting passed to him when he's not ready is like the teacher calling on that kid to answer a question he absolutely didnt hear as he looks up dazed and confused...

what sportsbook do you recommend for nba wagering ? usually go through with the local but sometimes that one to 2 hour window does not permit me sufficient and substantial enough time to do what i need to do when i need to do it . ya dig ? and of course good luck and great success on another winning nba season .:tiphat:

Well, I let the value slip out of the line a bit and it keeps going down but still feel this is proper side in this game. I will only go small though. Would have went a bit bigger at intial line. ML is prolly solid advice as well.
