Houston/Cleve under that game SHOULD be played in the 80's?

Philly -2.5

Det/Orlando total, there is a serious Over trend in that game....nice to see they bumped it finally from 192...to 194.

looks like Keith Van Horn is about the only thing holding up the Kidd to Dallas trade.

http://blog.nj.com/netsblast/2008/02/foottapping.html

Antoine Wright is still included. Van Horn's agent is being cryptic about what the deal is, but Van Horn apparently has other things going on that might make him want to NOT collect an easy 4 mil.
"Either he'll do it or he won't do it," Van Horn's agent said, "And we'll all know in the next 48 to 72 hours." It's unclear what is stopping Van Horn from cashing in, since his agent would only say his client is "engaged in some other things, and he has a lot of responsibilities."

Agree with Houston/avs under Marlo, also a revenge spot for the Cavs. Other plays that jumped out at me...

Nuggets over the C's- revenge from a blowout loss @Boston, if Garnet is a no go, Melo should go off....

Warriors/Jazz o224.5- looks kind of soft to me, I think they'll score in the 230's. Jazz 1stq play could be a solid play as well....

Blazers- I know they have cooled off big time, but in the end it's a 20-6 home team vs a 7-18 road team, so -3.5 looks coverable to me.

Looking forward to seeing the Hawks-Lakers line. With the Suns on deck the following night on Nat'l TV with Shaq possible playing, I think the Hawks may steal one

New Kings, Bibby may not play until Wednesday

The four players traded from the Hawks to the Kings aren't likely to play on Tuesday. Instead, they'll probably make their debuts on Wednesday in Sacramento against the Hawks.
Shelden Williams, Tyronn Lue, Anthony Johnson and Lorezen Wright aren't expected to be cleared of physicals and ready to play in Tuesday night's game at Portland. We're guessing that means Mike Bibby probably isn't going to play for the Hawks on Tuesday against the Lakers, either. We'll continue to monitor this situation. Feb. 18 - 4:53 pm et

Plays on both Portland and the Lakers seem likely if both the Kings and Hawks are playing shorthanded.

SU? I wouldn't count on that, but there is a possibility of an inflated line here. Revenge game for LA, I fully expect this line to be 13+

WOW. portland is a steal :new_shocked:

would not be surprised to see that one end up closing around 5, as bad as sacramento has been playing on the road and no bibby.

Houston/clev under fits a system play for me.
BOth should come out slow and rusty from the AS break. I think we can expect an ugly first half in this one. May be my favorite for tomorrow.

Anyone have a garnett status?
I think if he sits this one out we can expect something like Boston -2 or -2.5......
I mean shit I believe boston is still undefeated against the west. And thats just sick.

Looks like some good ones for tomorrow. Lets hope a couple teams dont catch the AS break hangover and not show up in the first half
:moose:

yeah, I saw that. maybe it didn't take him 2 days to decide to take a free $4 mil?

wtf else could he have had to do that would make him even THINK about making 4 mil over what......3 months? ......no...not even 3 months work.

only thing I could think is maybe something going on with his family.

but what do I know? 4 million is a LOT of money to me.

Seattle laying -5 to anyone seems absurd. Boston may not have a frontline tmrw and Allen and Pierce both involved in AS weekend. KG ? , Pollard OUT , Big Baby doubtful , Scalbrine and Perkins ?? ...

Not really loving much to be honest but will be looking at Memphis to try and figure that one out...

Mike Bibby practiced with the Hawks on Monday, setting the stage for him to make his debut against the Lakers on Tuesday.
The four players sent from Atlanta to Sacramento do not sound likely to play Tuesday night, but most of those players don't have fantasy value anyway. With four games this week, Bibby owners can go ahead and play him even though he's fairly unfamiliar with his new teammates.

Line is at boston +1 right now.

I take it they have information or are leaning towards garnett sitting this one out, if any of you were wondering.

Just checking the Sac Bee for updates and found out that the Kings are 8-41 at Portland. Are you kidding me? That's crazy. Of course, Portland has also lost 11 of it's last 17 games. Yikes.

Tony Parker is NOT expected to play on Tuesday, but he's practicing again, so it shouldn't be too terribly long, now.

Josh Childress had an MRI on his knee, and word is that it isn't a bad injury. If he's in LA, then expect him to play. We'll see.

Mike Bibby might or might not play tonight. This shit's bizarre.

Kenyon Martin has strep throat from blowing too many people over the weekend. I wouldn't expect him to play. Strep is miserable shit.

http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/feb/19/garnett-eyes-return-against-nuggets/

Kevin Garnett thinks he'll play tonight. George Karl thinks KG will play tonight. Doc Rivers won't talk. ...heh.

http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/feb/19/garnett-eyes-return-against-nuggets/

"I feel great," Garnett said. "It felt good. [Coach] Doc Rivers might have a different assessment than that. Either way, I feel good with it."

Kendrick Perkins, Glen Davis, and Scot Pollard all expect to be available (if not play in Pollard's case). Scalabrine expects to not play. Maybe the defense will improve.

All the injured Bulls could return to action tomorrow.

Daniel Gibson should return to action tonight. Anderson Varejao won't.

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/basketball/bulls/800878,CST-SPT-bull19.article

Luther Head should be available to play tonight.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5551106.html

TJ Ford is questionable tonight with a slight abdominal strain. This is hardly a problem for the raptors.

http://www.thestar.com/article/304783

Johan Petro is questionable after spraining his ankle in practice.

Willie Green missed practice on Monday with a stomach virus. Keep an eye out - if this is that flu he could be out for a few days. .....or not.

Shaq is expecting to play on Wednesday. I'll say it. So fuckin what?

New Hawk Mike Bibby and the four players who were sent from Atlanta to Sacramento for him are all available to play in Tuesday's game.

The Hawks are at the Lakers, where we're guessing Bibby will start at point guard, while the Kings are at Portland. There were some questions as to whether all the pieces would be in place for them to play tonight, but it sounds like it is safe to start Bibby, who will play four games with the Hawks this week. The new Kings include Shelden Williams, Tyronn Lue, Lorenzen Wright and Anthony Johnson, but only Williams is expected to flirt with offering fantasy value. Feb. 19 - 5:39 pm et

Caron Butler is out for Tuesday's game against the Knicks due to his lingering hip injury.

This is both shocking and concerning news. He went through shootaround this morning but was still feeling some stiffness and soreness in the hip. The hope now is that he can play on Friday at Cleveland. He hasn't suited up since Feb. 5, and he reportedly looked great at practice on Monday night. If nothing else, it appears the injury could linger. Andray Blatche will again start for Butler. Feb. 19 - 5:46 pm et

Think red posted this earlier.

Kevin Garnett is "50-50" to return from his abdominal strain on Tuesday night, according to Celtics coach Doc Rivers.

Garnett says he's ready to play, while Nuggets coach George Karl says he's 99% sure KG will play against his team tonight. Rivers obviously isn't planning on revealing his hand until the last possible moment, but we'd be mildly surprised if KG doesn't play tonight. A decision will be made after today's shootaround.
