I forgot he was big into soccer, I really only saw who the soccer guys were that little stretch there when they were 1st sport back after pandemic! I really meant it when I said I was gonna try to keep following when everything got back to normal but I just don’t know I can add something else! Especially now that props in all the sports I do taking more my time than previously. Throw in there so many leagues and teams soccer be a really tough add for me outside the WC and all the other tourneys where countries being represented. I’d like to at least do champions league but wouldn’t I need to follow those teams in their respective leagues to be able to have a good idea bout them? Plus I never found a way to quantify soccer with numbers the way I can other sports, I have same problem with hockey!

I doubt it ever be my favorite but it is pretty high up the list when it comes to enjoying sitting down and watching. The no stoppages or commercials a huge turn on! Plus like hockey it puts you on edge your seat when scoring chances arise!

During the pandemic I was able to get on some Zooms with some pretty relevant Man City people and not only learned a lot but they treated my opinion as very relevant and it was great discussion. Not sure another sport and crew who would do that.

That pretty cool. I did so much reading and asking questions around that time trying to learn enough to be able to hold my own discussing it a bit. Most reading I’ve done since prison, lol. I found most everyone I talked with cordial at minimum, nobody really made me feel dumb for asking questions or anything.
 
all the reading I did and questions I asked tho I could never really get any kind of feel or answer for a way to cap it with numbers. My fav sports to bet are the ones I feel like I can make a line based off numbers. I still

Popularity in America has skyrocketed since 2010 so no one should ever downplay your questions. We've all probably had the same questions and not that long ago. Getting involved with the local City group has been awesome, $20 dues I think and damn near 400 here now. Great gatherings for games and they're all pretty early, also has gotten me involved in the Phoenix Rising to a degree. Ownership includes a Chelsea legend.
 
Soccer started as a curiosity for me man...took some work. Involved a bunch of dumb questions that everyone was happy to answer. And honestly at this age, it's relaxing to gamble on. Much needed. It can also cause a heart attack when you least expect one.

Helps to follow a good team though

I think it more addictive to be a action junkie w soccer cause I really like watching and having money on. Shit stressful! Then ya get a goal to feel all warm and fuzzy but next thing ya know your team gives up 2 in last few minutes! Lol. I’ll tell ya one thing that seems so stupid to me, I can’t stand the extra time and nobody knowing when damn game will end! I don’t buy for a second they accurately keeping that extra time!! Sometimes seems like should be way more, others shouldn’t be any but they just randomly throw out some bs number!

Extra time is fair imo. They give a reasonable number, then up to the ref if the offense is progressing it goes until they aren't. I know that's always a concern for people who need rigid standards, but that to me is a cool thing about the sport.

I don’t like it. I need to freaking know how much time my team has to score or how long they gotta hold on! I swear anytime I have a lead they add way more time! Lol

Stop their progression around that extra time and the whistle blows. Only real reason it goes on is because your team sucks at ending the game!
 
Stars line up for Urquidy to have a really good start, I dunno if the best way to attack this is his k prop or playing Stros cause -125 feels cheap here? Stros are on bit of a slide after the pen blew a solid start by Javier in gm1 of series. Ff under is a option also but I’m not real confident in what dunning line will look like. I do think urquidy k prop being 4.5 almost a must with way rangers striking out lately, he isn’t a consistently strong strikeout pitcher but the potential is there as seen in his last start vs rangers where he struck out 10 in 6.2 innings. I expect he goes 6+ again and think he good for at least 5 k’s if that the case.
 
I’d be curious to hear anyone who watches Webb thoughts on him this year. There def seems to be little something missing from last season but I dunno exactly what it is? The start of his I watched vs cards he consistently was getting cards hitters in 0-2 or 1-2 holes yet couldn’t put anyone away. Seemed to lack the bite or pop on pitches to finish guys off but after that start he had much better strike out totals for several games in a row before once against failing to punch many last time out. Royals might have issues at the plate but they not a high strikeout team so there a good chance we see a lot of balls put in play.

This a huge price for Webb but there no way to sugar coAt how bad his counterpart has been! Not only is Bubic sporting that redic 9 era but this dude has seriously managed to only pitch 22.2 innings in 7 starts!! That ain’t good! Nobody expects him to be a ace but he grades out as a decent 3-4 guy in rotation and he has a decent season under his belt. Walks always been a issue for him but they been more than a problem this year as he went from a 3.5 to 4 walks per 9 guy to walking more than freaking 6 per 9 this season! He did throw 5 scoreless innings vs stros 2 weeks ago so that something, he still walked as many he struck out in that game. I dunno if I can back this kid or not? Maybe the over the play here? I do find this number a tad suspicious tho, only 8 for this matchup?
 
I like Bassitt ov 5.5 k’s but by time the book opens I fear the juice gonna be to high or the number gonna be up to 6.5 which no Bueno. The casino open 23 hours a day yet for some reason the book only open 9am-11pm on weekdays, 8am on weekends. Not sure why the kiosk at least couldn’t be open all the time even if counter isn’t?
 
Not only do we have the redic heat in stl but there is a 11-15 mph breeze blowing out today. Ball should def carry, i dunno if Mfers be able to hit with sweat in their eyes! Or maybe pitchers have problem gripping ball while they sweating like crazy!! I can’t imagine it gonna be comfy for anyone to be playing this game today, the night game bad enough, put the sun blasting down on them for this noon start and it really tough to say how it gonna go!

Ryan been on covid list. Damn, he been out for almost a month. He did pitch 3 scoreless innings in a rehab start on Thursday. This could be a decent Ff under, couple solid pitchers in pitcher friendly park. No secret I’m a Gilbert fan.
 
Brubaker out total would be a bigger play if it wasn’t for the extreme heat, that could potentially limit his innings? I love backing guys like him out totals when they pitching one the double header games, he capable of throwing a bunch of pitches and eating innings even if he getting beat up and I think managers mostly prefer getting the innings in these games even if the results are poor. I just dunno if that will hold true with the extreme temps?
 
for some reason these lazy pricks dont have a k prop up for Gilbert as of yet, i expect they will come with a 5.5, it hard for me to make a case that it should be higher but i do like him to have 6-7 k's tonight. let them fuck around and post a 4.5 and ill be all over it but most likely we see the standard 5.5, if we can get it with some plus money or low juice i be on it, if it comes with more than -120 attached to it ill prob pass. on 5 days rest he has a k/bb rate of 5.25 compared to only 2.17 on 4, he on 5 tonight so that good!
 
Houser been so much better at home which worries me, i suppose it understandable early in year when it cold up there and the roof closed but miller not a particular friendly pitcher park once it warms up and roof open so i dont really get it for his career, guess he just one those guys who more comfy sleeping in his own bed. mets hit rhp but their offense hasnt been particularly great this month, they middle the pack with a ops just above .700 and they been rather inconsistent in june, just home from a really long west coast trip, they did get a day off but i still think these prime spots for a offense to be a little flat as the body clocks have to adjust.. Houser out total is only 15.5, that is so incredibly doable for a guy milw lets throw 100 pitches regularly. It just a matter of him being decent enough, he dont gotta be great by any stretch, just avoid getting blasted in multiple innings and ya gotta like his chances of going 5+ at the very least. Feels like a bet that hits way closer to 60% than the implied 53.5% that -115 represents, that a damn good bet where im from! lol
 
i suppose i didnt need to take so much time contemplating who the heat would effect worse, pitchers or batters (i know it makes ball travel more), this about the highest total you will see at Busch, not sure i can recall last time they hung a 10 here?!?! is this 9.5 a tell? Liberatore hasnt shown any signs of being a capable big league pitcher when ive seen him! he did have the 5 scoreless with 6 k's against milw but that was around time their offense had come back to the reality they suck! yes pirates suck themselves but they can hit minor league pitching im sure. Brubaker has terrible history vs cards, he also worse in the daytime and this day start will be much tougher than normal!! i dont think i can bring myself to play a cardinals game over where i need 10 runs to cash! think im bout done trying to figure out a play in this game caue i dont think there is one, not a really good 1 anyways!
 
Cole off a disaster is usually good.

Kluber night and away is NOT good!

He did have a great start against Yanks though at home a short while ago.

The price is just redic. Havnt talked myself into tampa yet but there no chance I’d lay that kinda number w yanks vs these guys with any pitching matchup
 
damn,, 1st time these fuckers actually made a strong line on a guy i was hoping to play his k prop, did not expect them to hang a 6.5 with Gilbert, that sucks, cant play that., pretty much where i made it.
 
they really came high with pivetta also with the 6.5, that almost feels like a overreaction off his last 2 starts, it not as if he has consistently been fanning 7+ guys this season, got 7 in oakland then the big number vs a slumping halo's team with bunch of swing and miss. i expect he will be pretty good vs the A's lineup i like to pick on but i think that more like 6 innings and 5-6 k's. His swinging strike rate is nowhere close enough to being the elite number ya want to play over this many k's, liked his last 2 starts cause was only 5.5 with good matchups in pitcher friendly parks!!

are we really worried bout kluber at night? that has been a issue this year but historically not, he slightly better in day in his career but at night he has excellent numbers also, he tends to get better deeper into the season also. He has always had strong pitcher parks for his home field so naturally he gonna have really good home numbers, he has been really good in yanks bandbox also tho, 5-3 with something like a .613 ops allowed and a era right around 2.50..

Sucks they've caught on to Gilbert a lot more quickly than I expected. M's are usually pretty good for finding a couple guys that go under the radar, I guess Ray probably has brought more attention than desired to them.

they were a really trendy dark horse type team at beginning this season. we see where it ends up but i had them pegged pretty good, posted bout them somewhere bout the season win totals i think, i like what going on there but i had a feeling this might be a situation where they took a step back this year before taking a big step forward next season. between the surprising record last year and the additions they def got onto ppl radar this year.

they didnt mess around with the twins/seattle total either, i lean under but shit they made it low and dont like that Ryan hasnt pitched in a month other than 3 inning rehab outing last thu.

lol.. im not trying to risk any houses but ill be on them with you.. not gonna lie, i would have been way happier winning with them last night and playing dubs in game 6, not just cause winning been nice but i would have trusted dubs to win gm 6 in boston, or trusted boston to blow it!

picking out big favs not my strong suite at all so i could be way off but i dont see any of those i trust a great deal today, that pitcher jays throwing can be awful, i dont like boston 1st game home off the long west coast trip, white sox laying -180? no freaking thanks, already mentioned that price way too much for Webb. Tough to knock braves, they aint lost a game this month while i was going on bout phillies hot streak! cardinals game 2 should be solid, kinda expect doyers to hit Syndagaurd,, those the ones i prob would think bout,, and i think phillies strong even tho they way cheaper.

really tough game being played in the middle of a 101 degree day! i tried to find something but i dont feel great bout anything, if it wasnt so fucking hot id say brubaker over 16.5 outs prob be ok, even if cards hit him they will prob let him eat innings cause the dh but not sure how many times they send him back out if he struggling with it being so damn hot!! if ya gotta play something id roll the dice with the over but dont hold me to it cause im not even playing it, needing 10 to win at Busch is tough even with ball carrying with this heat and wind blowing out.. gun to my head that what i would play tho.

Not a fan of Pivetta to be honest, but have no idea who the A's pitcher is. I did ask my buddy who is maybe one of the only 53 people that actually go to A's games. Waiting to hear back
 
i just gotta hold out before going to casino for 5-10 more min then it be too late to play anything degen on the cards game, lol. cause now i kinda want to dabble on the over but it just bout to late for me to get there :)
